Grasshopper96 The beginning of the outdoor operation Oh lord shiva stay Whit me Ohm namah shivaja ohm namah shivaja Agg, day2 Good evening and welcome to my “poor summer.” Let’s begin by explaining why this name. It’s a superstitious excuse to call my outdoor summer grows. I call my summer operations poor summer because when I was a teen, all my peers would go to Mykonos, Holland, or other foreign countries to have fun, while I was forced to stay in the big city. But when they asked me how you can stay in the city during summer, I replied, “Don’t worry, I’ll travel a lot while staying in the same place.” Now let’s get to the facts. On 17th April with the new moon I planted nine original Afghan Kush seeds. Yesterday, the first three sprouted, and today when I went to check I saw a beautiful 8/9. I’m quite confident that FastBud will also open the 9th seed soon. Agg day 4 of the weeks: the 9th seed open, i confirm a 100% of sprout rate Update day 5 yesterday the bluetooth sensor arrived to monitor temperature and humidity and among other things it also automatically calculates the vpd, this evening after about 24 hours from its switching on I will publish the first graphs, which will then be shared once a week preferably at the weekend, I apologize for the delay, but unfortunately I had to wait for the technical times for the sensor to arrive, and for it to record about 24 hours of data to produce a graph, I can't wait to post the data this evening 😉 Update day 6 the diary Is full of photo, Sorry but i don't share the graph thiss week because Is impossible because the space of the diary Is full😅

Grasshopper96 Let's start immediately by making one thing clear, I didn't think I would place myself (even temporarily) so high in the ranking (with all the attention that follows), this pushes me to give the best of me and to give meaning to this "poor summer" in the city, now let's come to the cultivation, the week starts well with the plants that hint at the first leaf with several fingers, So this marks the end of germination and the beginning of vegetative, I wrote the numbers on the pots with a marker and I used an object that is the same size all over the world (a cliper) to give an idea of the size of the plants, now I want to conclude by thanking all the people who liked the first week for the trust placed in me, I guarantee that it will be well repaid 😉😏 Agg day2 of the week: the plant grow Better , the sun and the Sea breeze kiss It and the pale grower🤣 Wheater report Day 1: Sunny Day 2 : Sunny and windy Day 3 sunny Day 4 Cloud the evening Sunny the morning Day 5 cloud Day 6 Cloud the morning sunny the evening *Prevision Update day

Grasshopper96 At the original Afghan kush the first multi-fingered leaf grew, I would really like to experiment and top one of these plants, but I wait for the guinea pig to make at least one more row of leaves, the guinea pig will probably be a plant from number 1 to number 8, in fact I ask you all, in your opinion which plant is better to top? Number 9 I exclude because I see her as frail. Update day 3 i thinking the training i can do when i smoke my pipe and see the plant, low stress training and topping, topping or lst? This in the problema🤣🤣😭 Number 7 as frail She Is the new sleapy of the diary ,Number 9 Is so good , most than the day 1 when She as frail Finally i do topping Number 2 and Number 6 , before i do lst to Number 6 Wheater report Day 1: Cloud Day2 Sunny and cloud Day 3 Rain the evening ,Sunny the morning.....

Grasshopper96 The Afghan plants are growing well, they're real monsters. If the buds were bigger, it would be perfect, but I can't expect big buds like RF3 from humble Afghans. Honestly, I grow this strain for its medical properties to alleviate my insomnia. A special mention for the plant that underwent classic topping; it has a beautiful structure, even more beautiful than the one that underwent fimming.

Grasshopper96 Despite the leaf miner infestation that appeared at the beginning of flowering when there was nothing that could be done and the high temperatures, the flowering is going well. I apologize for my "absence" in posting, but I'm working unusual hours due to the heat. I wake up in the morning and by 7:30 I'm at work, and at 12 the first shift ends, then I start the second shift at 4:30 to work at least until 8. Tough shifts... which unfortunately prevent me from being present as I'd like... The buds have thickened a lot, in some plants even more than a lot. I think I'll go at least up to 14 weeks like I've seen in other diaries with the same genetics, and I'll check the results at 14 weeks to get an idea and evaluate if, as I think, the almost African temperatures have slowed them down. One plant is foxtailing due to the high temperatures, but fortunately, it's only one. 😁 Shiva protects those who live by the right path, does good deeds towards others, and prays every evening. 🙏

Grasshopper96 This week is going to be scorching, temperatures have risen even more... And I think it's only going to get hotter since we're only halfway through July... Damn! Plant growth: the buds have thickened and some plants have bent under the weight of their fruits. Pests: the thrips are advancing, but luckily the red spider mite that hit two banana purple punch hasn't touched them at all in my opinion. Nutrients: besides my usual top auto, my trusted ally in this poor summer, I've introduced the bloom booster from t.a. I wanted to buy the pk booster from top crop, but then I wondered if it would be unnecessary consumerism since I already had the new t.a. bloom booster still to open😊 I didn't give top Candy for fear of raising the electrical conductivity of the nutrient solution too much. Techniques applied: on day 4, I did a three-centimeter mulch with dry leaves, I hope this keeps the pots more humid and maybe I'll water less.

Grasshopper96 Mulching has been a wise choice, now the pots dry out much more slowly. Bloom report: the flowering is progressing, unfortunately, the plant that underwent fim is showing foxtail, but with these temperatures, it's almost normal. This scorching summer is making me realize work-wise outside of the plants, and that's doing me good. Pests: they're there, but it's manageable. These Afghan strains, as I already knew, are resilient and keep going like good old school genetics that usually, barring exceptions, you can't even kill if you shoot them. Nutrients: I'm giving 3 ml per liter of top auto and I'm using T.A.'s Bloom booster. I would have honestly preferred that T.A. had an all-in-one product for autoflowering like top crop does, so I could do everything with their products, but anyway, top crop is helping me bring home a nice season. Happy growing to all you guys and girls, especially you in Luxembourg who are among my most active followers!

Grasshopper96 Report on flowering: the flowering is going well, I am also starting to appreciate the plant that is making a lot of foxtail, it almost looks like a doc grinspoon 😉 The topped plant and the plant I unintentionally fimmed are lagging behind compared to the others, for all the plants except these two I believe the cycle will close at 14 weeks. Nutrients: I gave Bloom booster from t.a. and top auto from top crop. Pests: I found signs a bit everywhere on the plants of this cycle, I am removing everything I can remove, I just need to vacuum the leaves of the plants with the vacuum cleaner but then would that be madness? I want to close this cycle and I am very sorry that the plants started to flower when I didn't expect it so I didn't have time to do pest prophylaxis anymore. Personal considerations: I have been doing these Afghan strains for 4 years now always as the first cycle of the season and every year they come out more beautiful than the year before, as well as they came out well this year I think I will plant them again and again until the young of the time of an old me no longer want the dear old Afghan 💛

@Grasshopper96, I hope everything will be okay. I got hit by a serious downpour that knocked my little fig down 😅😅 I had to put my horse on it to hold it up. It's growing taller as it reaches for the sun, and as soon as it rained, it just laid down in the dirt.
