Grasshopper96 Good evening, welcome to the second part of poor summer, which is now colored purple (I'm almost sure of the 100% purple that fastbud seems to guarantee on these RF3) Day 0: at 11 am I prepared half a glass of water with 3 drops of hydrogen peroxide inside to do osmoprinting, in 24h the seeds will be put in the final pots, there is an experiment in progress the pot with the white clothespin on top is filled by layering under a 70% of all mix of biobizz and above a 30% of light mix, by doing so perhaps I should almost reach the end of the cycle without giving fertilizers, and without stressing the plant as if I put it directly in the all mix.... For this experiment I have decided that I will use the first seed that will open Day 0 : at 21 am After less than 12 hours the seeds started to open, so I already moved them into the final 10 liter pots Update day 4: thry have poor climatr for germination....

Grasshopper96 The plants are germilion all 10, tomorrow I will give the first fertilizers of the top crop line, this time I will also remember to give the mycorrhizations😅 since I bought the whole top crop board for auto it is also right that you use all the products Only one plant (the one in the photo) worries me, I preferred to avoid putting 10 photos of 10 plant because I find it boring but towards the end of the week I will put one photo per plant NOTE OF THE EXPERIMENT: no yellowing of the leaves in the pot of light mix above and all mix below, I would like to point out that I did not want to use supersoil deliberately because the sense of the experiment is precisely. To demonstrate that you don't need supersoil to make autoflowers since it has been done for many years without it, but now I realize that I should have put a banana p.p. RF3 in supersoil and then compare the results...... Mea culpa but unfortunately I can't fix it since Banana Purple Punch RF3 is out of stock and we don't know how much it will be available again.... I think see a photo of this plant Is borring but todsy i post a indibidual photo of only plant

Grasshopper96 This week started well, the plants have grown a lot, the problem is that the African anticyclone has also arrived and very often takes Italy making the temperatures rise a lot, yesterday I was 35 ° almost I would like to stay in Germany to have cooler temperatures, then I remember that I love the sun and my land the only problem are the retrograde laws, The fault of the Vatican, damn priests, Update day 5, Yesterday the Little of the rum dead, She don't like the mediterranean clima but all plant like it

Grasshopper96 Good evening and happy growing everyone, let's start with the most important news, the b. purple punch rf3 are blooming, because of the high temperatures I have in my Mediterranean climate zone, the plants have reached a height of 40 cm on average, and unfortunately I didn't have time to apply any training (if you want to see monsters over 60 cm tall and two beautiful plants that have undergone important training passed in my Diary of the Afghan Kush), it must be said that I feel quite satisfied with what I have seen so far, I just hope the plants will be colored purple as mom Fastbud 🤤 says Update day 5, the plant continue to grow, they are tall on avarege 60 cm💛, the crop Is safe , the leaves are tipicaly indica and i likes thiss beutifull plant

Grasshopper96 Welcome back the b.purple punch continue the strech while at the same time they develop the flowers, they have a very promising smell to scratch the stem........ These RF3s are proving to be valid and so far with a very good quality / price ratio. The week started in the best way, heat and sea breeze during the day and in the evening temperatures around 19°c/20°c which in my opinion give breath to the plants after the heat of the day Update day 3, i use Big Bud and wait for Is magic Update day 4, today i do Better photos, today i do a massive photoshooting Personal reflection: Life is strange, you go to sleep that your diary is second, you wake up that you are last and you don't understand why but you recive the same like Update day 6, finally i notice a Little bit of purple in my bud, the higth temperature don't favorite the Natural antochanos process

Grasshopper96 Let's start the post talking about the subtropical half storm that hit my area today, 3cm of rain fell in less than 1 hour, luckily the purple punch bananas were sheltered under their canopy (I always leave them under the canopy just to protect them from these extreme water bombs that come from the sea). It is the climate of the coast since the Mediterranean is tropicalizing that has changed, the purple punch bananas begin to smell, they even dominate the afghans always of fastbud, since we are comparing them the afghans have smaller buds than the RF 3, and much less resinous, these rf3 have at the third of flowering large buds like those I usually have at the 5th, and this fills me with pride for having relied on professionals so I correct what I said, they have an above average value for money, perhaps they have an added value compared to non-RF 3 seeds because despite slight differences they are all homogeneous. And so finally I find two ugly bastards on my plant and I remove it in an "italian job" with so sadly. Shiva Sorry for this violence. Day 2: I found another caterpillar, with this the count goes to three, I am very bitter that I waited too long to take preventive measures, so the plants have started to flower preventing me from doing it.....rookie mistake..... Day 6) I attach some photos of the only purple (I am sure for now) and I hope that the low temperatures expected for the next evenings will help to color the plants, it's not fastbud's fault, it's the crazy climate's fault!

Grasshopper96 Happy start of the week and sorry for the absence, the prohibitive temperatures are making my life difficult, I'm watering with about a liter a day for each pot and yet the plants are eating the sun leaves in search of water, in 15 years of growing I've never seen anything like this, this strong Niño (the cyclical climate phenomenon) is complicating my work quite a bit..... As for the rest, the plants have started to become frosty and three other plants are showing the purple gene, maybe they'll all change color by the end of flowering, I estimate it will take another two to three weeks for the harvest and I have no idea how much the buds will grow, which already satisfy me, these rf3 are fantastic! Edit: I forgot to take pictures of one plant but I don't know which of the 10 it is😅

Grasshopper96 After almost collapsing from the heat at work, what could be better than updating the diaries a bit and spending some time with the plants once I'm back home with the rest of the day free? In my opinion, nothing 😁 The banana purple punch are growing well and producing new buds, there's one in particular that has a main top that's 7 cm wide, and considering they're still putting out new buds, and consequently the tops are still fattening up, this makes me very happy 😉 For now, the plants with purple flowers are 5, which isn't bad out of 9 plants remaining in total. Maybe I've figured something out about this genetics; it turns purple when it reaches a certain point of maturation, in my opinion. This gives me hope that fastbud, as usual, won't miss a beat and that by the end of flowering, I'll have 9 purple plants. Time will tell, fastbud doesn't miss a beat. *The plants like the Afghan ones have an infestation of leaf miners that appeared at the beginning of flowering when there was nothing more to be done, but despite the pests, the plants are producing big flowers, excellent proof of resistance from this strain. I think a strain, if it's good, shows its worth in difficult conditions (like mine with scorching hot days and very humid nights) because, in my humble opinion, if a strain performs well (or much better than well like this one) in tough conditions, it means it will thrive in perfect conditions. Edit day 3: as I thought (but didn't write), today while looking closely at the plants in the daylight, I found one with webs on it and clear signs of a red spider mite attack, so I decided to remove the affected plant, washing the tops before putting it to dry. I burned the sun leaves full of eggs and spiders at various stages in a bonfire of rage.

Grasshopper96 The buds have thickened a lot, I think I'll harvest next week. I had to harvest another plant because the red spider mites had started feeding on it too, I harvested it to prevent the infestation from spreading. Edit day 2, after almost a week of drying (still too little), I decided to jar the first plant I harvested, I'll leave you a photo for the record.

The strain is fantastic, almost all the plants (8 out of 9) showed purple colors, and the one that doesn't have a hint of purple is a monster standing 110cm tall, so I can be happy with her too. I'm fully satisfied with the strain; I think it has a better quality-to-price ratio than the average premium seeds we're used to. I've already smoked the two plants I harvested earlier in less than two weeks because it's so good to smoke, in addition to being vigorous in growth and having fantastic colors. I'd like to grow it indoors this winter with deliberately low temperatures to see what a spectacle it becomes.

Grasshopper96 Harvested today to take advantage of a week where the temperatures won't be 34°C, just to say 30°C, I can get it down to 24°C with my air conditioner, which is more suitable for drying the weed. Final thoughts on the experiment with all mix below and light mix above (you can recognize the plant because it has the clip for when the clothes are hung above) that produced so many buds it bent the trunk of the plant (maybe I should have given silicones), it grew despite me only giving it water throughout the cycle without showing any particular deficiencies or weaknesses. I'm thinking back to when I was a teenager and did the plants this way due to lack of money for fertilizers, and now I wanted to do it again but with the skills I've acquired, and the result was better than when I was growing plants at sixteen. 😳 That said, this concludes the first diary of the poor summer. I can't wait for the weed to be dry so I can put it in my kilo and thank my god Shiva for giving me as much weed as he thinks I need right now. 🕉️ For that reason, I didn't weigh the fresh product; maybe I'll think about it all when it's dry and clean in at least a week, hopefully it won't dry out before then.

@Nonno_Fede, in my spot with 6 hours of direct light, I can't work miracles, I'm not a siddi baba, but I think I've done pretty well. Smoking it (the plants I harvested earlier because they were infested and I washed them to get rid of the pests) is really good and it hits you hard; you can tell that theirs has 32% THC.

@wolfvb, Thank you very much my friend, if you want leave me a comment under each of my diaries with your impressions, this year I have too many plants I can't concentrate on any of them maybe an outside eye sees things that I can't see, I would be grateful PS I don't do it to make interactions I ask you because I have seen your works (enjoying the quality you do) and I consider them fantastic

@Grasshopper96, yeah don't worry I do it every time. One of the best if not the best breeders in the world ☺️ but without humans, the plant wouldn't be so beautiful.

@squalino, true my friend, but look at it this way, humanity without cannabis wouldn't have been able to discover America thanks to the sails of the ships that were made of hemp and the ships themselves that used hemp in their construction. Without cannabis, humanity wouldn't be the same either.😉

Beautiful! The only thing is those damn thrips that infest them and are almost impossible to get rid of outdoors.. You should use Bacillus thuringiensis from when they are small, which at least kills all the tiny larvae, while for the flying ones a bit of neem oil to keep them away, but all of this should be done preventively because if you use neem oil late in flowering, then the buds will turn out bad. You can only use it in the first 2 or 3 weeks of flowering, then that's it..
Grasshopper96
Grasshopper96 commented23d ago
@Wastent91, to protect the non-flowering plants I gave all the plants some Solabiol Flipper last night, I left the flowering plants alone. These bananas are saying goodbye next week, I'm just sorry for the Afghanis that still have so much to develop.

@Grasshopper96, ah ok, I just saw what it works for and what it's made of.. But does it work? Because unfortunately, the leaves are clearly damaged by thrips.. But did you put it on just now or from the beginning?
Grasshopper96
Grasshopper96 commented23d ago
@Wastent91, let me explain: I usually assume that when the plants are about to flower, I use it to have a protective effect throughout the flowering stage, but when they decided to flower, the retailer didn't have it. Anyway, I assure you it works 😁
