Bunterbiber The Journey Begins! 🚀 And we are officially off to the races! I couldn’t be more excited about this lineup—we’ve got some absolute heavy hitters in the mix this time: Amnesia Haze Auto from Barney’s Farm, alongside Bruce Banner Auto, Lemon Cherry Cookies Auto, and Banana Purple Punch Auto, all from the legends at Fastbuds. I’ve heard great things about these genetics, so expectations are high! For the start of this journey, I kept things tried and true: Soaking: The seeds spent their first 24 hours in a glass of water. The Stretch: They were then moved to damp cotton pads until those beautiful taproots showed up. First Home: Once ready, they went straight into 0.5L pots. Currently, they are chilling in my small breeder box under a 20W light. I’m keeping the humidity high to ensure they feel right at home during these first delicate days. I’m really hyped to see how these different strains develop and express themselves. Let the magic happen! May the green thumb be with you 💚

Bunterbiber Welcome to the first official week of vegetation! Things are moving along beautifully, and I have to say, I’m impressed with how quickly these ladies decided to join the party. They germinated in record time and wasted no effort moving past the cotyledon stage—we’ve already got our first sets of true leaves looking healthy and vibrant. Watering & Roots: 💧 I’ve been practicing a bit of "calculated neglect" when it comes to watering. I gave them a good soak when they first moved into the 0.5L pots, and since I’m using transparent pots, I can still see some moisture clinging to the sides. I’m holding off on watering for now to encourage those roots to go searching—patience starts early! The Environment: ☁️ The climate in the breeder box is dialed in. Humidity is averaging around 75%, which is that perfect "tropical" sweet spot for this stage. They seem to be loving the extra moisture in the air. The Master Plan: I’ve got a little experiment planned for this run. Once they move to their final homes in about a week, I’ll be splitting the feeding styles: Organic Duo (Banana Purple Punch Auto & Amnesia Haze Auto): Two plants will get the organic treatment with EPN and BioBizz. Mineral Duo (Bruce Banner Auto & Lemon Cherry Cookies Auto): The other two will be fed with Hesi minerals. It’s going to be a fun "Battle of the Nutrients" to see how they react! Current Standings: 📏 Lemon Cherry Cookies Auto: Leading the pack at 9cm. She’s definitely reaching for the stars! Amnesia Haze Auto: Standing tall at 7cm. Banana Purple Punch Auto: Cruising comfortably at 6cm. Bruce Banner Auto: The "little brother" at 4cm. He’s lagging a tiny bit behind the others, but honestly, no stress at all—some just take a second longer to find their rhythm. I’m super stoked to see how they look once they hit the big pots next week. So far, so good! May the green thumb be with you 💚

Bunterbiber Week 2 has been a big one! We’ve hit a major milestone: mid-week, all four ladies officially moved into their final homes. The Setup & Experiment: I’m using Floragard Professional Growmix Organic as the base for this run, and this is where the fun starts. I’ve officially split the tent into two teams to see how they compare: Team Organic (Banana Purple Punch & Amnesia Haze): These two are getting the "low-maintenance" treatment. I’ve mixed in two EEPN 1 PLANT-PACKs as a slow-release organic fertilizer. A little pro-tip: I actually pre-watered this soil about 5 days before the transplant to wake up the soil life and get those mycorrhizae fungi activated and ready for the roots! The plan here is to let them do their thing without any extra nutrients until we get close to the flowering stage. Team Mineral (Lemon Cherry Cookies & Bruce Banner): These girls will be fed using the Hesi mineral line. I’m really curious to see the side-by-side development between the organic and mineral approaches! The Environment: ☁️ To be honest, Mother Nature isn't exactly helping out right now. It’s still quite cold outside and the sun has been hiding, so the four of them are currently making do with the light from my window indoors. It’s definitely a "low energy" start in terms of light, but they are all looking healthy and showing a great attitude so far. Current Status: 🌿 Overall, everything looks solid. No deficiencies, no stress—just steady growth. What they really need now is a bit of real sunshine to kick things into high gear and a nice breeze to help those stems thicken up and get strong. We’re just waiting for the weather to turn so we can really see what these genetics can do! Bunterbiber Let the Sun Shine! ☀️ The tide is finally turning! After about ten days of playing the waiting game with gloomy indoor skies, the weather has finally broken. The sun has been out for the last 2 days, and you can literally see the difference—the plants have immediately responded with a noticeable jump in growth. They were definitely eager to put some work in once the light finally showed up! Training & Development: 🌿 I’ve decided to start some LST (Low-Stress Training) this week to help open things up and maximize my space. I’ve started training the Banana Purple Punch and the Amnesia Haze, which you can see starting to take shape in the photos. I’ve decided to let the Lemon Cherry Cookies do her own thing and grow "naturally" for now—it’ll be interesting to see the structural contrast later on. Feeding Strategy: The experiment is officially in full swing: Team Organic: I’m still sticking to plain tap water for the Banana Purple Punch and Amnesia Haze. They seem perfectly content, and I plan to hold off on any additional feeding until I see them transitioning into the flowering phase. Team Mineral: The Lemon Cherry Cookies and Bruce Banner received their very first light dose of Hesi mineral nutrients today. I’m starting low and slow to see how they handle it. Maintenance & Outlook: 🛡️ I also did some preventative maintenance yesterday by spraying a Neem oil solution to keep any potential pests at bay. You can definitely tell they’ve had a tough 1.5 weeks living without supplemental lighting, but the forecast is looking much brighter now. They are hungry for those rays and ready to start packing on some real growth. I’m feeling much more optimistic now that the weather is finally playing along—time to let them hit the gas! May the green thumb be with you 💚

Bunterbiber What a difference a week of good weather makes! The sun has been blazing almost constantly, and the girls have absolutely loved every single ray of it. The growth has been explosive compared to those slow first couple of weeks! Training & Mulching: 🌿 I’ve been staying on top of the LST for the ones I'm training, adjusting the ties to keep the canopy nice and even, which you can see in the updated photos. Some are already showing first signs of pre-flowering. I also added a layer of pine bark as a mulch on top of the soil for all four plants. It’s a game-changer for keeping the upper root zone happy and preventing that top layer of soil from drying out too quickly under the intense sun. Because of this, my watering schedule is super dialed in—I’m currently only needing to water twice a week. Feeding Check-In: Team Mineral: Lemon Cherry Cookies and Bruce Banner are cruising along smoothly, receiving their regular scheduled ration of Hesi mineral nutrients + a bit CalMag. Team Organic: Banana Purple Punch and Amnesia Haze are still thriving on just tap water + a bit CalMag, but I did add a tiny touch of CalMag to the mix this week just to make sure they have all the secondary nutrients they need to sustain this rapid growth. Current Standings: 📏 Lemon Cherry Cookies: This girl is an absolute beast! Growing naturally without LST, she has shot up to a whopping 38cm and is easily the giant of the family right now. The Rest: Amnesia Haze, Banana Purple Punch, and Bruce Banner are all averaging around 25cm along the main stem. It’s honestly getting a bit tricky to measure them accurately because of the LST angles, but they are looking bushy and robust! With the weather holding up, they are in prime position to keep crushing it. Can’t wait to see what next week brings!
