El-Ecko Hereās my second report.
I decided to go with the āFrostbanger Auto F4ā and hope I got the dark phenotype.
I germinated the seeds in a peat plug, which I transferred to a 15L fabric pot immediately after germination.
For this grow, Iāve chosen the āSonnenerdeā living soil.š
Immediately after germination, it will be placed outdoors on my balcony (southeast-facing).
And it will stay there.
On cold nights, Iāll cover it a bit.
Otherwise, it will remain exposed to all weather
Wish me luck š
Day 1 Germination
The seed was placed in cold water for about 40 hours and covered. š§
Day 2 Germination
š¦š
Day 3 Germination.
The seed has sprouted and was planted in the peat plug.... and now itās time to wait. ā±ļø
Day 4 Germination
ā±ļø
Day 5 Germination
Things were already happening early in the morning, and the Frostbanger popped out of the coconut coirš±.
š
Day 6 Germination
Today, the fresh seedling was planted in the living soil. To prevent the fresh roots from getting burned by the āharshā soil, I filled a larger pot with soil thatās lower in nutrients. (approx. 500 ml Tks 2).
Then I placed the little one, along with a cover, on the balcony. šš±
Day 7 Germination
Conclusion:
I canāt really say much. Just that it worked absolutely wonderfully.
Germination went quickly and without any problems.
Iām curious to see how the š± does over the next few cold days here in the Sauerland

...oh man, what a week.š¤§.
On Monday, the weather was still halfway decent.
But what followed was just classic āSauerland weather.ā It was cold and rainy. I have to admit I moved the plants back inside onto the windowsill for a few more nights. I hope the next few days will be much better. Otherwise, this is starting to feel like a full-time job.š Saturday was finally a ray of hope. And the little onesš± could finally soak up some sun again.
Conclusion: Growth looks stable, but you can tell the plant is lacking warmth and light. But thatās just how it is, and Iām sure it can only get better.
One of the first serrated leaves is slightly deformed, but I donāt think itās a problem.

El-Ecko Week 2: VEGETATION
There isn't really much to report this week.
The little Frostbanger is growing slowly but surely.
The leaves look a bit deformed. Probably because of the nutrient-rich soil.š¤
But I'm not really worried about it. By the end of the week, it should have adjusted to the soil's nutrient content... at least thatās my hope. On the last day of this week, I sowed garden cress to create a protective layer for the living soil, and the clippings will serve as a mulch layer. At least thatās the plan. And another positive note: the weather forecast is slowly looking better š»āļø

Iām absolutely thrilled with how things are going.
It has a rich, lush green color.š±šæ
The cress I used as a mulch layer has grown beautifully and still looks really nice.š
It handles full sun more than just fine... and the little Frostbanger seems to have adapted very well to the nutrient content of the Living Soil.

It was a wonderful, sunny week.āļø
And the Frostbanger really enjoyed it to the fullest. I didnāt add any extra nutrients. I donāt have any experience with this, but I think the Sonnenerde hemp soil works very well in terms of its composition. It also retains moisture extremely well.
Unfortunately, the coming week will be a bit cold and wet, and temperatures will drop below 10 degrees again at night.
Iām still looking forward to seeing how it develops.š?

El-Ecko Week 5: Vegetative Growth
Not much has happened this week, but itās growing steadily and has turned a beautiful, rich greenš±.
Since the sun only shines on my balcony until 2 p.m., itās all the more tragic that it isnāt shining at all right now. š It shouldnāt be long before it enters the flowering phase and hopefully takes a big step forward.šøā¬ļø
Two leaves are deformed⦠and look very interesting š.

Itās definitely not the biggest oneš±ā¬ļø. And yet, Iām satisfied so far. The weather has been really bad again. Barely 15 degrees during the day and well below 10 degrees at night. The side shoots are still growing very slowly. Letās see what happens next week. The forecast calls for much sunnier and warmer weather. š»āļø

Daytime temperatures have gone from 15° to 30° in just one or two days. But I really canāt complain⦠because I needed the warmth, tooš . I decided to do a light LST to help the little side shoots get more sunlight. The little flowers are slowly taking on a beautiful purple hue.
Hopefully, theyāll get really plump and sticky. šš¤¤
Thanks so much for stopping by. āļø

El-Ecko Week 3 of Flowering
It was a very good week for all the plants.
We had temperatures above 30 degrees all week long. āļøš But since the sunlight only hits my balcony until around 2 p.m., the strong sun isnāt really a problem.
The flowers are steadily filling out, and the coloration is getting more and more beautiful.šø? The scent is still very subtle.
Itāll remain a small plant, which really doesnāt bother me at all.
It just looks great.šš±

There isn't much to report.
The flowers are turning a beautiful color and slowly swelling. ?š
The plant has a really nice, dense structure and is starting to smell absolutely wonderful. šøš
Unfortunately, the weather leaves a bit to be desired... itās very humid. Iām slowly getting a little worried about bud rot setting in. š¬
El-Ecko Week 5 of flowering
This little beauty smells absolutely wonderful. And thatās exactly what the flowers look like, too.?š±šIt seems like the flowersā growth is slowing down.
I want to give it one more week to let the trichomes mature a bit more. Plus, Iāll be going on vacation soon, so this way I can make sure everything is taken care of.šāļø
@squalino, vielen Dank. Sie ist wirklich die schƶnste. Und sie riecht wirklich herrlich. Das nƤchste Jahr werde ich diesen Strain sicherlich nochmal verwendenš
