Germinated by placing seed in glass of water for 16 hours. Placed between 2 moist paper towels for 2 days until root was 1.5cm long. Transferred to 22l felt grow pot, Soil Mix ratio is 2 parts Pro mix organic soil, 1 part perlite, 1 part coco coir. Planted 2cm deep and covered lightly with soil. Another 2 days and both seeds have now broken the surface. Spraying lightly with water.

It is the beginning of the 2nd week, the seedlings are small but still growing. They have gained a few cm in height, the stems and leaves have broadened. One seedling is a little taller than the other, it could be stretching from being on the bottom shelf of the greenhouse. They are also bending slightly to reach the south facing sun during the 5 hours of direct sunlight. To fix this I have swapped shelves to provide even amounts of light on both plants and rotate the pots to avoid them bending too far. I will need a second greenhouse during veg stage for more space, training and also better lighting. There was a spell of colder wet weather where I am living in BC this week with temps dropping to a low of 10'C over this night i moved the pots indoors to the to be on the safe side. It has been mostly cloudy too so that may contribute to the lack of rapid growth. Periodically spraying the walls of the greenhouse has allowed me to keep the humidity higher for this stage of the grow. I gave the plants their first direct watering of 100ml of water however combined with the wet weather it seems this was a bit too much as i saw the very tips of one plant droop slightly. To remedy this i have not watered again for 3 days, the soil is still moist and the plant has returned to normal. I will go back to using the spray bottle. Patience is key. You can see the beginning of the 2nd set of leaves sprouting from the middle of both plants showing progress towards the next stage of growing. I am hoping to introduce a quarter dose of organic fish emulsion nutrients by the end of next week if all goes well. I have also germinated another seed roughly one week behind the other plants to act as a back up. I can only only reasonably grow 2 plants and received 5 seeds so this is acting as a spare for my first batch, it is in a much smaller pot and will need to be transplanted later.

The ladies have made some great improvement this week, they have gained height in the stem widened the leaves and grown a new set of leaves. The new leaves have 3 fingers each, one of the seedlings has a slightly deformed leaf with a smaller finger on one side but it doesn't seem to be a problem. They have also both sprouted another set of leaves in the middle. The weather has been good being dry with intermittent sun and around 23 degrees. The cotyledon have started to fade to a slightly yellower colour so i made up a batch of weak nutrients. I first made a homemade cal mag solution by grinding egg shells into a fine dust, the finer grind was added to the soil to break down during the grow and the larger sand size particles boiled in just over 1l of water with dissolved 1 tsp of epsom salts for magnesium and sulphur then strained and cooled. The fish emulsion dosage is 10-20ml per L however as this is the first feeding i only used 5ml. This is the first watering in 3 days and the soil is dry 10cm down so i used 250ml of the nutrient solution in each and 250ml of water. I will just water them a couple of time for the rest of the week. The weather looks to be wetter and cooler so i may bring them inside to protect form the cold and reduce watering if the moisture increases.

It has been another week and they are still doing well. It has been a mix of sun cloud and rain all week with varying temperatures so not the best growing conditions but hey you cant control the weather haha. They have started to smell but only at a very close distance and both plants have also grown new sets of leaves again totalling 4 sets with another starting to sprout! I have watered again with the diluted nutrients and once with just water. I have a couple of questions for anyone with more knowledge than me. The plants are growing little white hairs from the area that the leaf branches join with the stem, are these pistils showing they are female? One of my plants has a little orange spot on one of the biggest fan leaves (pictured below) Could this be a nutrient overload and should i go back to water for a week? Thanks!

Decided to dial back the nutrients for a week, growing taller each day and more and more leaves and nodes. i have started to low stress train them tying them to the edge of the pot with some basic hemp twine. as they grow i will periodically train them in a circle around the edge of the pot. weather has been very rainy and cloudy, still warm but humid

I moved house and have a much better growing location the girls now get a full 8hrs of direct sunlight if it is available, this week has also been cloudy but next week is clear skies. They have made significant growth and i have been tying them down every inch or so that they grow and the canopy is becoming full and green. other parts of the plant are growing upwards. if they fill out as i am hoping the buds that push up with meet a wire mesh to separate them. They are starting to form buds, the smell is more intense and white pistils with some trichomes are forming because they are clearly moving towards the flowering stage the nutrients have been re introduced. top dress with worm castings, molasses for the soil, medium strength veg nutes and a little bloom nutrients to cross over. a good watering and a few days of sun they should be good to grow for a few days.

the next week on and they are fully into the flowering phase. One plant is significantly ahead and visibly different to the other two plants, it is much thinner in the stem and leaves and is maturing quicker than the other two. Height gain has slowed and bud sites are developing, i have decided to swap the two bushier plants to the SCROG LST method. using the extra shelves on the greenhouse as the mesh i have spread the canopy through the holes and i will tie the growing branches back down to the wire grid to spread the leaves. This limits the ability to move the plants around significantly so the thinner one will be moved permeantly outside and under cover if it rains. I have started to transition the plants food with half veg and half flower nutrients in this feeding using the same amount for each plant however the smaller one is showing signs of nitrogen toxicity with dark green and shiny leaves so i will fed her with just water and very weak flower nutes in the next watering. The weather is looking great for the next 10 days with plenty of sun and warm weather, perfect timing for flowering.

There has been some serious growth on my biggest plant , after signs of flowering it has stretched like crazy. I feel like the end is in sight! the buds are coming along well. i did a nutrient test of the soil and found it low on p and k so i watered with a full strength flowering feed and will do until the flush. I also made a second batch of the egg shell tea with epsom salts and molasses. I will stop LST and leave it to grow naturally from now as the light pen is pretty good and i don't want to disturb her to much while gaining bud weight. The younger plant is coming along well, a week behind the bigger plant so i am expecting it to start stretching this week. also handling nutrients well. The small plant is showing signs of nutrient burn with a dark green shade on the leaves and a few burnt tips, i will giver he just water for a while to see if she can return to normal. not expecting much form her but may as well let her grow. will update with few more bud pictures later.

There has been some rain this weekend, hopefully it dries up and gets sunny for a few days. the two slightly older plants are well into flower and the pistls are starting to darken. harvest should be soon. the smaller plant unfortunately has lots of small buds, so trimming that one might be a bit of a pain.

The pistils of the older of the two pants are starting to darken and the buds are fattening up and getting sticky. how far off harvest do they look? Should i start flushing the plant?

Well look at ratio of orange hairs to non orange you want at least 50-70% orange to get that good high couch lock...if you can go by the tricohmes man but you need a magnifying glass at 60-100x or a jewels loupe at the same strength so you can see if there cloudy or milky or amber need that tool to better tell if your girls are getting close ..They look a little weird those girls but they seem like they should be good to flush soon they look about ready ...goodluck

It looks like the tallest main plant is coming to the end of its life, the leaves are starting to yellow and the buds are maturing. I have started the flush and will keep it as plain water until harvest. i think i will leave it one more week until it has used all the leaf nutrients and hopefully i can get a little extra weight in this time. the smaller one doesn't have much bud, it is still very thin and a bit of a loss. it has started to grow new buds from the bottom. I will probably harvest this one at a similar time to the other. The bushy plant has become the most hopeful for a bigger yield. it is much shorter and the buds are much fatter. the pistils are still white so i will give this plant a few more nutes. as it is a little behind the other two plants. I pulled a few leaves off of her to let the light get into her a little better as its so dense.

Average week for weather, the last two days have been hot and sunny so i let the plants grow until then before cutting them. I took two of my plants down today, The first was the smaller of the two. I cut the main branches and some of the larger side branches, it still had some new growth in the middle thats wasn't ready to be harvested so i have left it to see what happens. It didn't yield much as it grew so weird. Quality of what it did produce seems okay, smells good but a little leafy. Classic homegrown. The second plant did much better, it had fully developed calyx's and all the pistils had shrunk back in. Visible Thc that looked somewhat cloudy under the best magnification i could find, on my camera and a magnifying glass. did a small wet trim taking the fan leaves with no thc and some of the medium sized ones. Left the sugar leaves and others to protect it drying. Might dry trim before curing. The last and bushiest plant is a couple of week behind so i will leave it growing gave it a big watering and it has the best sun spot. I will finish the diary with the harvest when it is cut too.

The plant with the good genetics that i left to grow Is starting to yellow, with 10 days of rain forecast and temps dropping to 3 degrees at night i'm wondering if i should harvest it now.
