Deep Mandarine - Delicious Seeds

DerGrowdoc She looks great. I want to try to get the absolute maximum out of this plant, given my resources. She will be growing solo in a 70 x 70 grow tent, in a 40-liter pot. I can control the temperature and humidity in this room relatively well, and she should have plenty of light, too. The plan involves topping, LST, and SCROG.

DerGrowdoc Wow, looks like someone wants to grow big and strong. The plant is thriving—no signs of deficiencies, and a rich green color. I’ve topped it for the first time now; later on, I’ll use the SCROG method.

DerGrowdoc The training begins. Now that I’ve topped the plant, I’ve set up a net; I’m going to weave the branches through it so that they are evenly distributed across the surface area. No issues so far—the plant is growing very fast.

DerGrowdoc Not much is happening at the moment. The plant continues to grow very rapidly; I am trying to guide the branches toward the sides of the net. Once the plant is large enough and has reached all the openings in the net, I will prune it so that a single bud can develop at each point.

DerGrowdoc It looks like a real jumble here now. But the branches have reached the edge of the net almost everywhere. The plant will get a new haircut soon; then it will look tidy again and be able to grow upwards a bit more.

DerGrowdoc The plant got a haircut after reaching sufficient width. The many buds are now roughly the same height, so I’m going to let them grow a bit and intervene only minimally from here on out. Once they’ve reached a good height, I’ll switch to a 12/12 light cycle. Overall, I’m very pleased with how things have gone so far.

DerGrowdoc Yes, that’s how it should be. Everything is going according to plan; the plant has reached the right width now, and I switched to a 12/12 light cycle today. Flowering should start soon. I’m curious to see how much the plant stretches from here on out.

DerGrowdoc A few days ago, I thoroughly trimmed back the leaves on the plant. I also removed a few small branches that were growing too low down. Doesn't it look lovely? I really like the way it looks now. The first signs of buds are already clearly visible, too. Now I’m going to leave it alone and let it do its thing.
