lolasher Topping has worked wonderfully for her. She looks a bit worn in the straw now, but it will be fine. In about a week, she will be topped again.

lolasher Another week has passed. It has now been topped to 8 shoots and some leaves have been removed.

lolasher The Tropicanna Poison continues where it left off: insanely good growth, super strong stem. Definitely my strongest plant in this phase so far. Is it because of the Living Soil? The watering behavior is crazy. I last watered it with 6 liters a week ago... the soil still has plenty of moisture. I'm not complaining - less to do. In a week, it will be topped again, so it can keep growing at a distance for now.

lolasher End of next week. No problems so far. The Living Soil is doing what it's supposed to do. I actually wanted to top, but they can grow a bit more towards the edge of the pot before being topped to 16 tops. The tent stakes are being moved a bit and I'm defoliating a little every day. I'm excited about the stem! It doesn't come across in the photo since it's in such an oversized pot, but man, it's already got more oomph than my old, harvested Cherry Poppers.

lolasher For the Tropicanna Poison, it's time to go vertical - for now! The plant has a diameter of about 40cm, and I'm satisfied with that. The side branches for re-topping are also almost all at a usable size. I think I'll be trimming again on Thursday. After that, I'll probably install the Blumat drip system. Since I just watered with about 7 liters, that might take a little while.

lolasher In the tent, it's going up. One shoot is unfortunately growing a bit faster than the others... let's see if I need to intervene :-) I think in a week it will finally go into flowering. All 16 tops are developing great. So far, a dream-performing plant.

lolasher It begins. After ten weeks, I'm sending the Tropicanna Poison into flowering in the tent tomorrow. She's grown wonderfully and is looking great. The tent is well filled, now it's time for the buds to come in! I've tied down some branches a bit to get the height right again. The Adlites have been swapped out. Blue is gone, red is in. It's lit from 8 AM to 8 PM and the UV function of the lamp is turned on. Does it make a difference? Hard to say... at least it was pretty frosty in the previous grows.

lolasher After two weeks, I'm a bit surprised at how little the stretch is. The plant is about 40cm tall. Aside from the growth, it's doing well. No special occurrences. Update Flowering Day 18: Today it got lollypopped.

lolasher I don't like that the plant is getting relatively light, although it often looks similar in other reports for this strain. Let's see how this develops. I still took some precautions. I added some CalMag this time and made a nice compost tea. Could it possibly be due to the new lamp? The AC Infinity has more power after all - although I honestly don't quite believe that, since I'm running it at 80% and 40cm distance... I’m probably just going crazy :-) The Budas are developing well so far. Every branch has super tight buds - I'm curious to see how this develops visually. In the meantime, nothing is really growing anymore. Last week, only the smaller shoots were growing and are now forming a nearly flat flower canopy - I like it! As mentioned last week, the stretch could have been a bit bigger.

lolasher The fourth week of flowering is over. Unfortunately, the plant continues to be relatively yellow. I've taken some precautions, let's see... In the meantime, the shoots are strong enough that the Tropicanna Poison has received its final adjustment. Now all 16 headbuds are nicely spread out in the 80x80cm tent. The new light is doing well: Despite some visual flaws, the buds are growing satisfactorily. Unfortunately, no purple is visible so far. But they are frostier - and that in the early phase of flowering.
