ridgeleaf Day 1: Placed 4 Purple Lemonade Auto RF3 seeds in a damp paper towel inside of a ziplock bag for germination.
Day 4: High 91, Low 61. Planted seedlings in one 5 gallon fabric pot and three 3 gallon fabric pots. Used FoxFarm Ocean Forest soil and lightly watered.
Day 6: Temps high 56°F / low 53°F with cloudy, stormy conditions. Keeping seedlings indoors and sheltered to protect from heavy rain and cold stress. Sadly two seedlings were lost :( One failed to shed the seed shell and one disappeared unexpectedly, wondering if got eaten. R.I.P.
I have some more purple lemonade auto seeds, but thinking I'd like to try an indoor grow for those. Plants 1 (5 gallon) and 4 (3 gallon) look healthy with first leaves developing. Slight purple/red coloration on stems.
Day 8: The surviving plant 1 (5 gallon) and plant 4 (gallon 3) seem to be doing alright for the gloomy weather (rainy, cloudy day high 67/ low 54). Weather is gonna be bad till Wednesday. I think they'll be alright, just not an ideal start. keeping them safe when it storms and making sure to put them out when the sun decides to shine through the clouds. Letting them get a bit of rain water but not too much of course.

ridgeleaf Day 10:
Plant 1
Seedling showing early stretch with thin stem development, likely reaching for stronger light. First true leaves healthy with good green coloration. Cotyledons intact and functioning normally.
Plant 4
Seedling emerged healthy with symmetrical early leaf development and slightly sturdier structure compared to Plant 1. Good color and healthy cotyledons observed. Early growth appears stable with no visible damage or nutrient issues.
Plant 3
Seedling emergence significantly delayed and initially questionable viability. Extremely small and weak structure observed, but new true leaf growth visible.
Day 11: Seedlings continue to establish and produce their first true leaves. Growth rates vary between plants, with Plant 4 showing the strongest development, Plant 1 exhibiting some stretching, and Plant 3 remaining smaller than the others.
Day 12: High 81 / Low 56
The seedlings continue to develop steadily with healthy green color and no visible signs of pests or nutrient issues. Plants 1 and 4 are showing the strongest growth so far, while Plant 3 remains smaller but is still producing new growth. Slight stretching is present, but overall the plants appear healthy and are establishing well. Weather was favorable, and growth will continue to be monitored over the coming days. 🌱
Day 14: Seedlings remain healthy and continue producing new growth. Plant 1 is the most vigorous, Plant 4 is progressing well, and Plant 3 remains small but stable. No major issues observed. Growth rate is slow but consistent.

ridgeleaf Day 15: Healthy seedling growth. First true leaves expanding. Plant 4 showing strongest vigor. Plant 3 slightly behind but healthy. No major issues observed.
Day 17: Purple Lemonade RF3 Autos: Today all three appear healthy with good green coloration and active new growth. Plant 4 is currently the most vigorous plant, showing strong vertical growth, multiple developing nodes, and a sturdy stem. Plant 1 continues to grow steadily with healthy foliage and new growth emerging, though it remains smaller than Plant 4. Plant 3 is significantly smaller than the other plants but remains healthy, with no visible signs of nutrient deficiencies, pest damage, or disease.
Day 20: Plant 4 is the most healthy of the group, displaying strong leaf development, green coloration, and active new growth. Plant 1 remains healthy with compact structure and steady development, though slightly smaller than Plant 4. Plant 3 is really cute and I'm rooting for her lol

ridgeleaf Day 23: Purple Lemonade RF3 Autos
Weather was favorable with mild temperatures and steady growing conditions. Growth rates vary among the plants. Plant 4 is currently the most vigorous of the group, showing dense, compact growth, broad healthy leaves, and strong overall structure. Plant 1 continues to develop well with good vertical growth and active new growth emerging at the nodes. Plant 3 remains the smallest plant but is healthy and steadily producing new foliage. All plants display healthy green coloration with no major signs of nutrient deficiency, pest pressure, or environmental stress.
