Scandinavia Took me a while to germinate these seeds and havnt documented the first week. The plant is about 8-10 days from seed. Repotted it before taking picture and gave it some vegetable soil

It would have good use of some more sun and a bigger pot.. So i will transplant it during this week. But still keeping it in a small pot cause I dont want it to be too big. This is more for fun and to learn than to get a big yield. 😊😌

Scandinavia Day 22 – I transplanted it into a bigger pot at the end last week, which is still quite small but will be its final container. I estimate it went from a 0.3L pot to a 1.5L pot. I’m now using LST as well and will keep at it, hoping for more hours of sun. Preflower has started, so the clock is ticking.
(its staying inside during the nights since the weather is still too cold when sun is down.)
UPDATE: I continued with LST and removed a leaf for defoliation to give the inner nodes more light.. The plant has started to flower, though I wish it had waited a little longer.

Scandinavia Day 28 from sprout:
There hasnt been as much sun as I had hoped, but atleast I wont have to worry that I will run out of space with this plant and since I wanted to keep it small, it may work out :D But should be better weather on the way.
LST is going as planned, but since the plant hasn’t grown any taller, I’ve been stopped a bit short of what I would have liked. But maybe ill continue for a week or 2 more.
Still not using nutrients but when Ill do it will be some organic tomato nutrients. Nothing speciel.
Update: Watered with nutrients. Bottle says 5ml pr liter but I kept it modest with 2ml pr L

Scandinavia Its going OK. Hard to totally keeping my cat away but he only nips at the fan leaves, so we can call it light defoliation. :D Went from 2ml to 4ml pr l of nutrients. Bottle says 5ml pr L and its for tomatoes.

Scandinavia Giving full nutrients as bottle recommending. Not seeing any problem with it, so I will probably stay with this feeding every second watering unless I see any burns.

Scandinavia It began to show hunger, so it was good I went up to 5ml which is also what the bottle recommend for tomato plants. Anyway, i will keep that feeding until flush.

Scandinavia The pictures aren’t great, but the plant is starting to look really good and smell even better. I’m not sure how much longer it has to go, so if anyone can tell me when I should flush based on the pictures, I’d really appreciate it. I enjoy hearing other people’s opinions, even if I already have my own. :) I’m thinking of giving it one more week with nutrients before making a new assessment.

Scandinavia Another week wrapped up. Not too many hours of sunshine, unfortunately, but I’m still happy with it. There are some issues on the fan leaves, likely a sign of pests, but I’m not too concerned. It probably has another week of fertilizer before I start flushing. I might switch to cucumber fertilizer instead, since it has less nitrogen than the tomato version.

Scandinavia It should be done about now but its not even close IMO, likely due to the lack of sun. Still, it seems to have a few weeks left, so I’ll give it some 3-1-7 NPK with micronutrients I have, then flush it. Not the ideal nutrients, but they seem to work well enough, and i had it on hand since I’m using them for my vegetable plants too.

Scandinavia Time to flush! It’s looking good and pretty much as I expected. I haven’t been able to give it a lot of sun since I have to move it between the window and balcony, and sometimes I’ve forgotten or been busy, so it’s only had about 6–10 hours of direct sunlight for most of its life. Still, I’m happy. Hopefully the quality will be great, which is my main goal. Plus, I’ve managed this grow for under 20 euros, so it can’t disappoint! :D
Scandinavia It’s been cut and is now hanging to dry. I removed the dead leaves and fan leaves, and I’ll do detailed trim once it’s finished drying. I’ll update the diary afterward with the dry weight and other details.
