Nuttea Haze 50x50

realMarco Nach 3 Wochen gesundem Wachstum steht bei mir ein Urlaub an. Leider die sind die Wurzeln noch nicht so weit wie ich es gern hätte, so muss ich die Pflanze etwas zu früh umtopfen. Das neue Habitat ist ein 20 Liter Stofftopf. Warum ich nicht nach dem Urlaub umgesetzt habe? Mit dem großen Topf kommt auch die Blumat Tröpfchenbewässerung um Einsatz, welche den Grow über meinen Urlaub bringen soll. Zwei Tage nach dem Umtopfen nehme ich auch noch direkt ein Topping vor. Ganz schön viel Stress für die junge Pflanze, da heißt es erst einmal Daumen drücken. After three weeks of healthy growth, I’m about to go on vacation. Unfortunately, the roots aren’t quite where I’d like them to be yet, so I have to repot the plant a little early. The new home is a 20-liter fabric pot. Why didn’t I wait until after my vacation to repot it? With the large pot comes the Blumat drip irrigation system, which is supposed to keep my plant growing while I’m away. Two days after repotting, I also perform a topping right away. That’s quite a bit of stress for the young plant, so now it’s time to keep my fingers crossed.

realMarco Zwei Wochen später kann man sehen, dass die Nuttea sowohl das Umptopfen als auch das Topping gut überstanden hat. Die Blumat läuft auch super! Ich nehme nun ein LST vor um die neuen Seitentriebe besser im Zelt zu verteilen. Two weeks later, it’s clear that the Nuttea has come through both the repotting and the topping just fine. The Blumat is working great, too! I’m now going to do some LST to spread the new side shoots out better in the tent.

realMarco Nach 5 Wochen sieht die Pflanze top aus. Ich bin bereit für den Switch zum 12/12. Möge das Blühen beginnen. Das eingebaute ScrOG Netz ist gar nicht in der Lage die Pflanze zu bändigen. Hier werde ich noch einmal eingreifen müssen, aber wir werden sehen. After 5 weeks, the plant looks great. I’m ready to switch to a 12/12 light cycle. Let the flowering begin. The built-in ScrOG net is not able to contain the plant at all. I’ll have to step in again here, but we’ll see.

realMarco Am Anfang hatte ich Probleme mit der Temperatur im Zelt, bei der geringen Größe heizt die 115 W LED schon ziemlich. Das hat sich aber nun stabilisiert. Der Stretch ist schon ordentlich. Ich bin gespannt. Ich habe die Lampe alle 2 Tage um 10 % von 50 % auf am Ende 100 % gesteigert. Die Pflanze mochte das offensichtlich. At first, I had some issues with the temperature inside the tent; given its small size, the 115 W LED gets pretty hot. But that has stabilized now. The stretch is already looking good. I'm excited to see how it goes. I increased the light intensity by 10% every two days, starting at 50% and eventually reaching 100%. The plant clearly liked that.

realMarco Nach knapp zwei Wochen Stretch mit gut 2 bis 3 cm Wachstum pro Tag wurde ich langsam ein wenig nervös. Die Nuttea zeigte noch keine Verlangsamung und ich hatte nur noch 25 cm bis zur Lampe. Ich musste also HST greifen um mein Zelt zu organisieren... Das war ein sehr unangenehmes Gefühl, aber es hilft ja nichts. Wieso wollte ich auch eine Haze in einem so kleinen Zelt anbauen (50x50x140). After nearly two weeks of stretching, with a good 2 to 3 cm of growth per day, I was starting to get a little nervous. The Nuttea showed no signs of slowing down, and I only had 25 cm left until the light. So I had to resort to HST to make room in my tent... It was a very unpleasant feeling, but there was nothing I could do about it. Why did I even try to grow a Haze in such a small tent (50x50x140)?

realMarco Das Höhenwachstum hat endlich aufgehört... Ich hatte langsam echt Schiess bekommen, aber die Pflanze hat trotz des späten HST keine Probleme gehabt. Mittlerweile hat sich auch ein üppiges Blütendach entwickelt! The plant has finally stopped growing taller... I was starting to get really worried, but it didn't have any problems despite the late HST. It's now developed a lush canopy of flowers!

realMarco Der Geruch nimmt nun deutlich zu. Da ich eine aktive Zuluft im Zelt installiert habe um mein Temperaturproblem in den Griff zu bekommen, sorgt diese nun für Überdruck im Zelt, wenn die Abluft sich gerade abgeschalten hat. Meine Mitbewohner sind begeistert :D Das Lollypopping habe ich bis zum ScrOG Netz gemacht und ich musste in den letzten Wochen immer wieder viele kleine Buds unterhalb entfernen. Aber sie kamen einfach immer wieder. The smell is getting much stronger now. Since I installed an active intake fan in the tent to get my temperature issues under control, it’s now creating positive pressure in the tent whenever the exhaust fan shuts off. My roommates are thrilled :D I’ve been lollypopping all the way up to the ScrOG net, and over the past few weeks I’ve had to keep removing lots of small buds from below. But they just kept coming back.

realMarco Die Blüten haben ordentlich an Masse zugelegt und man läuft wie gegen eine Wand wenn man das Zimmer betritt. Leider bin ich aber auf die aktive Zuluft angewiesen. Draußen wird es langsam sommerlich warm und das merke ich auch drinnen... Die Fächerblätter werden langsam herbstlich, aber ich sehe bisher nur wenige bernsteinfarbene Trichome. Ich brauche noch etwas Geduld. The flowers have really bulked up, and it feels like walking into a wall when you enter the room. Unfortunately, though, I’m reliant on the active air intake. It’s slowly getting warm outside, and I can feel it inside too... The fan leaves are starting to take on an autumnal hue, but so far I’ve only seen a few amber-colored trichomes. I’ll need to be patient a little longer.

realMarco Es wird jetzt Sommer und mit der Überschreitung der 25 Grad Marke im Zimmer reicht auch die aktive Zuluft nicht mehr aus um das Zelt unter 30 Grad zu halten. Die Spitze lag jetzt bei 33 Grad... Es fällt mir schwer aber die Pflanze bekommt jetzt 48h Nacht und dann muss ich ernten, sonst bleibt am ende nur noch wenig von den Terpenen übrig. Summer is here, and now that the temperature in the room has surpassed 25 degrees, even the active air intake isn't enough to keep the tent below 30 degrees. The high was 33 degrees... It's hard for me, but the plant is now getting 48 hours of darkness, and then I'll have to harvest it; otherwise, very little of the terpenes will remain in the end.

realMarco Das war ein super Grow! Zwischenzeitlich etwas zu aufregend mit dem enormen Stretch, aber darüber hinaus hatte ich keinerlei Probleme. Die Nuttea Haze hatte zum Schluss eine wundervoll dunkle Farbe und die Blüten haben auch ein wenig Lila gezeigt. Die Stängel und Blattunterseiten sind schön bordeauxfarben. Ein echter Hingucker. Ich werde nach der Trocknung noch ein Update zur Erntemenge geben. That was an amazing grow! It got a little too intense at times with all that stretching, but other than that, I didn’t have any problems. By the end, the Nuttea Haze had a beautiful dark color, and the buds even had a hint of purple. The stems and undersides of the leaves are a lovely burgundy color. A real eye-catcher. I’ll post another update on the yield once it’s dried.
