My boyfriend is a fucking big head. I think they are stretching. The light was at 90cm, we’ve lowered it to 60. Do you think these babies are stretching?

Yes, definitely. As already mentioned, you could add more soil to the pot to help support and stabilize the stem. This will encourage stronger root development and reduce the risk of the seedling bending or falling over. I also recommend using an app like Photone to measure your light levels, including DLI and PPFD. The app is very beginner-friendly, easy to understand, and can help you make sure nexr plants receive the right amount of light throughout its growth stages.

Yes, definitely. Good move lowering the light! You could add some more soil to the pot, about 2cm, to help support the stretched stem. As long as you don't keep it too wet and only have the soil moist, there should be no problems caused by adding the soil layer.

Hello. You probably have the light very far if you have to raise it to find it. I used to place it 40-45 cm below the light, and depending on CO2, I would adjust the light. I have a plant the same age as yours with CO2 at 1200, and I set it to 800-900 ppfd. I wish you all the best with all your plants. 😎

What deficiency could these leaves be a sign of, with the edges curled upwards and yellow and brown spots on the edges?

The only way to know is by checking the EC/TDS and pH levels of the soil at first. If the soil is in the correct range, the only 2 factors left to check are the light intensity and watering/feeding schedule. From the pictures, I guess you might probably be watering to often with not enough water… this is where the soil EC start to raise and pH start to drop.

They look hungry , try giving them a kelp extract, diluted and some worm castings and water in . It should do the trick ,don't touch for 3 or 4 days after ,so give an adequate amount of water ,room temperature 20oC helps , add beneficial bacteria and Mycorysal inoculant ,if you can get some. Best of luck 👍
