Culturetranquillou25 /06.06.26/ Germination 2/2, with a pretty short summer it's not recommended in my region to use feminized (and generally favors autoflowers), but I want to form my own opinion, so we'll see how it goes! :) Anyway, it's a nice explosive start! For now, I didn't have a label, so the one with the two toothpicks is the O.G Kush. It's my first time using these little "shooters" made of coconut fiber, I found it very convenient because you can put them directly in the soil once the roots are a bit developed, I thought it would avoid transplant stress? Since I’m putting them in the soil directly without taking them out of this little pot. We'll see! Anyway, for now everything is going well, may it last! 😁

Culturetranquillou25 //13.06.2026// For the moment, everything is going well! A nice sprint for the critical, and the OG Kush that was a bit slow at the start but is still making its way... There's no need to rush, just start on time! 😁 I repotted them during the week into small pots that are still easily transportable so I can bring them inside at night since it can still get a bit chilly. Compared to a grow that started earlier without fertilizers, the Canna nutrients are a real + it's not just a trend, it's truly a game changer, it's great! Nothing particular to add, a beautiful week ahead according to Météo France, so all good! 😁

Culturetranquillou25 The repotting into their final pots has been done, and they are thrilled! Even though they were feminized and germinated late in the period, I think in the end it’s not so bad because doing a balcony grow, I really don’t want to have baobabs that are 2 meters tall 😬. They are reacting very well to the heatwave and are really holding up, so let’s keep it going like this 😁!

Culturetranquillou25 //27.06.2026// A nice step forward for my two feminized plants that really appreciated the heatwave all week. I'm soon going to think about how to slow down the vertical growth so I don't end up with a final plant that exceeds 1.20m. I'm still pondering and hesitating between LST or FIM, or just pinching the main apex? I'm not very good and have quite little conclusive experience with LST.... I tend to twist too much and crash.. 😱😷. Aside from that, I have my OG plant that has two issues. The first isn't serious, I think; it's a result of this week's heatwave, causing some stress that makes certain leaves twist. And secondly, it's the very first time I've found coco soil. I felt that my original soil was retaining too much water, so I thought to aerate it, I bought 100% coco soil from Action, and I made a mix of 40% coco and 60% soil. But I'm very surprised that the soil stays moist twice as long as the other pots with 100% soil! And that's not the problem, but it's mainly that on my wooden stakes (in the buried part), I find green and white/gray mold in spots, so no watering for a little while to see if the problem disappears... That's all! 😄

Culturetranquillou25 //05.07.2026// Everything is going well for these ladies this week, I did a FIM cut on the bigger one (critical) and she reacted really well, it allowed her to strengthen all of her branches, and now two small apices are coming off the central trunk as expected. And for the OG Kush, which has been a bit slower so far, I also did a FIM cut just yesterday hoping that next week she reacts the same way as her friend critical! Other than that, good nutrients, a strong sun, all the factors are in place for everything to go well and you can feel it! May it last 😁

Culturetranquillou25 //11.07.2026// These two are clearly in full bloom! And it even makes me a bit scared 😅, because I really don't want them to exceed 1.20m max, and if I let them be, they're clearly on track to break the record 😅. I did a FIM cut last week on the critical (the bigger of the two), but that hasn't slowed her down at all; she has too much energy!! So I did another FIM cut on the two new apexes that grew after the first cut, hoping it will slow her down! Otherwise, I'll have to pinch the branch, but I would have liked to avoid that torture 😩. Other than that, she really appreciates it because she has a nice wide trunk! and naturally forms a beautiful canopy that is pleasing to see. As for OG Kush, I'm less worried about her max height; she's making her way and has recovered very well from the FIM cut. To sum up, everything is going wonderfully for these two 😁!

Culturetranquillou25 //18.07.2026// I'm happy because I managed to slow them down in their race to the stars; at this rate, they were on track to become visible 300 meters around! 😂 By doing the FIM cut twice, they completely stopped growing vertically, but wow, have they taken off in width! They're turning into 2 little monsters! You can't really tell in the photo, but they're way wider than my other phenotype in progress. You can really feel that these two have energy to spare and aren't afraid to put the pedal to the metal! Next week, I'll measure the width of the plant so we can see. In any case, a beautiful canopy is being created, and it's great that it continues this way. I can't wait to see this beautiful world in flowering! 😁

Culturetranquillou25 //26.07.2026// These two still scare me just as much, they are clearly still heading towards becoming monsters, no matter how much I pinch them, nothing works 😅. I'm going to stop the nutrients starting Monday because they are doing a bit too well with it, and I can't wait to cut all the others so I can bend the branches in every direction. Next week I'm going on vacation for 10 days, so I've ordered an automatic trigger pump with a solar panel for watering, so I'll test all that before I leave. Aside from all that, I can't wait for the flowering to start :-)
Hey culturetranquilou your plants are very beautiful shapes and colors 👌. Outdoors, the transition to flowering depends on the light. At our latitude, it probably happens around August 5th and is noticeable by mid-August. Patience!
