purpleme Bt13 I tried supercropping BZ, but the stems were already quite woody and gradually bent over, though still intact. They are woody at the bending point but increasingly so. Until a few days ago, I hardly had any drain, and on day 12 and today, I forced the drain. Satzuma and GP have both been quite small, which is why I didn't work as generatively as with the cuttings. The result is thick long stems and few bud sides, but it should be enough for a first impression of the strains. R&D if you will. The cuts are doing particularly well and are a good week ahead of the seeds. Despite 4 weeks of veg, the seeds didn't enter pre-flowering before blooming. In contrast, the cuttings were able to take off right away. I think I will only work with cuttings in the future. I have an automatic drain device from Mars Hydro in this grow and I'm very satisfied with it. In the picture, you can also see the under canopy lights (ucl), side lights, and the Gardena drip irrigation. The side lights are full spectrum (lm301hevo) and not optimal for their use down there, which has been reflected in the last harvests. Buds that were grown above the ucl lights felt a bit thicker, denser, and riper than those under the full spectrum. For the completeness of the setup: again IR 5 min after lights out (from BT1), ucl and side lights are still running at 30% and are being slowly increased, and the spectrum of the top lights is being shifted from 5k to 3k. For the cuttings, I think the stretch is almost over, which is why they will slowly be switched to vegetative so they can get thick this time. The clock is ticking from now on. I have 29 days left for the BZ until they are finished. Pump it up!

purpleme Bt20 Since last week, the drain has been quite stubborn. I'm increasing the total watering volume day by day until I finally reach 5 liters to move towards vegetative steering. With a pot volume of 7.5 liters, the ladies are drinking my reservoir almost dry. I didn't expect that. Since the cuttings have grown so large and the UCL and side lights have to keep the lower leaves at 100% transpiration, I have to be careful to ensure that all the moisture is also transported away. So far, I'm very satisfied with the growth. They have already built up a good amount of flowering mass and continue to get as much water as they need. The giraffe pussy had hermed in two places at the beginning of the week, which I can't really blame her for since, as I said, I was always behind with my automatic irrigation to supply the giant plants from cuttings, and as a result, the Satsuma and giraffe have received way too much water, which is why they have grown so large that I had to supercrop them to keep them from getting into the lights. Accordingly, the irrigation strategy is now adjusted for the smaller plants, and I water about 2 liters in two sessions by hand for the large cuttings (Bz & SBC). Two days ago, I measured the drain pH and EC, and the pH has slipped slightly to 5.3, while the EC is at 3.4, so it will take a few more days to really flush the medium of the salts from the generative steering. UCLs are now running at 100% + IR was also turned up to 20% during the day to take advantage of the Emerson effect. Keep on pumping!

purpleme Letzte woche wurde weiter viel gespült um ph und ec im substrat zu drücken. Entsprechend habe ich auch weiter an der irrigation gepfeilt. Mittlerweile sind die salze von veg und stretch aber aus dem medium gespült, nur der ph ist noch etwas träge. Werde ich nächstes mal wesentlich geschmeidiger steeren für die ladys und messungen zum wechsel der verschiedenen phasen unternhemen. Aufgabe für die nächsten wochen ist die rh zu drücken und die Temperaturen langsam mit runter zu bekommen. Dazu werde ich etwas geld und zeit investieren müssen um die abluft aus dem lungroom zu befördern. Zu den Strains: Giraffe Puzzy und Satzuma haben die besten drain werte, da sie wesentlich kleiner waren und entsprechend auch schon immer wesentlich mehr wasser mit viel drain hatten, jedoch etwas hinterher hängen weil sie nach switch noch nicht in der preflower waren. Satzuma fängt langsam an zu riechen, giraffe ist noch recht leise. Bei BZ sieht man deutlich das der niedirge ph mittlerweile calmag lockout mit sich bringt. Noch keine Katastrophe und wachstum zieht weiter an. Riecht auch noch nicht wirklich. SBC hat kein automatischen drain, zeigt N Toxizität aber noch kein lockout, fällt aber immer weiter hinterher. Ich kann sie nicht vernünftig spülen, wodurch der ec wahrscheinlich viel zu hoch für den Bulk ist. Deutlicher unterschied zwischen den anderen strains. Jedoch riecht sie am stärksten. Aufgrund der Tatsache wurden fulvic und aminos wieder in den düngeplan integriert um die wurzeln zu unterstützen. etwas spät aber besser als garnicht mehr. insgesamt Zuversicht und viel gelernt

purpleme BT33 Bz is ripening and building mass at the same time. In just under 2 weeks, it should be ready, and compared to the last grow, it has gotten a bit thicker. 🦒 is also partially ripening already, but its smell isn't really present yet. Satzuma is doing great, not much ripening yet, still swelling nicely, smells fantastic and quite strong. SBC still looks ready and smells great, swelling gradually at its own pace. I'm happy with it too. Solutions for mold prevention have been found and are now being implemented gradually, so hopefully the environmental parameters will be appropriate for its current stage of flowering next week. Having 1-2 changes in the setup with each grow and constantly correcting things is really a lot of work. I hope everything settles down soon so I can be satisfied.
