RQS F1: Hyperion and Titan

Zucca Altought the completely succesful germination (100% of the seeds) the first vegetation week wasn't completely satisfying. In fact one of the two Titan, after was buried in its pot, didn't pop up and I'm afraid it will never do. Instead the other three plants looks to be in good health

Zucca This week my worries were confirmed: one of the two Titans didn't pop up, while the other three babies are slowly growing. To be honest, I expected them to stretch faster, and even the leaf color isn't the bright green I had in mind. But I probably had unrealistic expectations. Long story short, the plants are doing what they're supposed to do, and there are no signs of trouble. Considering that at the initial stage the plant get more water from the atmosphere than from the roots I decided, in addition to the standard watering, even to spary some water straight to the leaf.

Zucca This week was very bad. The past weeks I exceeded with water (one liter per plant three times a week) and with nutrient (I followed the doses suggested by Biobizz chart since first week) making the plants suffocate due to overwatering and causing a nutrient lockout . Next week I'll stop both water and nutrition, let the soil draining the exceeding water and I'll pray for recovery....😯

Zucca This week was slightly better than the week before. Due to past overwatering and nutrient lockout that were suffocating the roots, the plants didn't receive a single drop of water nor nutrient. Other than that, I lift up the pots from the pot trays to let the exceeding water drain and dry the soil that was (and partially still is) soaked of water. As a result, I can see few new tiny leaves growing up from the center; they have a decent green color (despite they're not bright green). All the plants are still very small compare to their age of almost four weeks, with the old leaves color beteween yellow and brown and with no sign of stratching. The soil surface and few centimeter below is dry but in meddle (at the core of the pot) it's still moist, so I believe that I must wait few days more to get a dry soil even at the pot core and finally let the plants root breath freely with no muddy soil and nutrient lockout
