ThatDudesDad So I’m not sure why but when I germinate in a glass of water and put seed in substrate as soon as it cracks or it has a very minimal taproot, I get zero shells on seeds and”so far” 100% germination. This is based on my last 7 germinated seeds. What I’m saying is it is working great and I’m sticking with it. As opposed to waiting for a .25” root. Off to a good start. Started 2 and one will have to go.
