Yahti Not the most explosive start but this is my first time running coco so there has been some growing pains.
Think I'm starting to get it... we'll see.
Seems to be chuggin along just fine

Yahti Did a skirting around the plant.. lost a top fan leaf by accident.
She doesn't seem to mind and is still growing strong.
Overall going well but honestly don't think I'll ever use coco again unless I'm doing autos.
You do get great control and it is a high performance media.
But its alot of work. Handwatering all the time is becoming a hassle.
Not looking forward to flower with this one.
Even though I'm using the runoff in the outside garden feel like I'm wasting so much nutes making up feed.
So this week I switched to using a old set of FF Trio fertilizers I had from years ago. I don't mind "wasting" that stuff.
Right now to achieve 10% runoff is 700mL a day. (5mL CaMg + 15mL BigBloom + 10mL GroBig/gallon)
One nice thing about coco is there is no need for a humidifier, since the media is always so moist RH is no issue.
I do have the fan on max to keep the air moving and prevent the top of the coco turning black. Seems like some algae/moss?
Its scrapes away easily and is only on the surface.
B/c of this have a minor bit of clawing but sometimes you need to whip them into shape and she will adapt.
