This was a rough week. Our basement flooded and of course, that is where my indoor grow is set up. I wrestled with ditching the plants since it was sewer water they were soaking in. (Note; this is when my indoor autos had just popped and were floating). But I kept them, and ran with it... repotted them all in new fabric bags and as much new soil as possible.
This is when I started looking into the self watering method, as I noticed since they “soaked”, and I was terrible at watering, growth had exploded.
Decided to top one and FIM another. I probably did so too soon, but I’ll be surprised if these are female, that they don’t turn male on me with the amount of stress I’ve put them thru so far.
Haven’t needed to water yet since the flood. Which is great because I killed last years plant from over watering... almost killed this crop by under watering..
Weird growth with FIM and topped plant but that was expected
I keep putting plants outside as they get too big for the indoor tent. They shot up pretty quick out of no where. I have no idea what I’m doing as far as topping and training, so don’t mind my weird stems. I have a hard time reconciling getting rid of branches that seemingly are fine but are shaded.
All I do is water only. All my outside plants are on self watering systems, organic super soil. Everything has been going really well. A few plants are showing sex, looks like girls so far....

They are monsters. I do have a couple in 1 gallon pots, they’re huge. I’m planning out a greenhouse and wondering if I have enough space for a couple 10-15 gallon pots instead of 1-5 gallon.
Slight mishap on one of my plants. A SIP had cracked and wasn’t holding water unbeknownst to me. She as drooping bad, once I flooded her and got her into a new SIP she perked right back.
I did quite a bit of defoliation, cut back fan leaves that were shading buds.
Holy shit, these things are monsters... worried about flowering and Michigan’s shitty weather come fall... currently thinking of ideas to possibly trigger an early flower.
Put them all in a kiddie pool filled with perlite and water to act as one big SIP while I was on vacation. Everyone was crowded when I got back but in great shape.
