dinosdarko Beginning of Flowering Week 3: The bud formation is exploding on the 6-stem monster! Welcome to my new update! My Papaya Frosting is now exactly in the 3rd week of flowering. The white hairs have been visible for about 11 days now, and the stretch is in full swing. The tips have gained an incredible height once again and are currently at [INSERT NEW HEIGHT HERE, 2.35 meters! Here’s the secret behind this massive structure: The plant is growing on a total of 6 massive main stems! I selected 5 extremely strong “legs” (side branches) and left the original main stem intact, but only let it branch out further from a height of 1 meter. If left unbent, the branches would already be between 2.60 m and 3.00 m long! By tying it down flat with plant wire, I have perfectly directed this growth power horizontally. Across the entire 9m² of the Double-SCROG net, the first thick bud clusters are now forming everywhere. First scrog net at 1.40, second at 2.50m. My split watering technique (60 liters total volume with dry soil): * 30 liters: First clear water. * 30 liters: The full organic flowering mix afterwards. Current dosage (per liter of the fertilized 30L mix): * 4 ml Biobizz Bio-Bloom (Maximum power for the flowering start) * 2 ml Biobizz Top-Max (For resin and terpene production) * 1-2 ml Biobizz Bio-Grow (To keep the soil life active) The massive greenhouse ensures perfect airflow with its large windows and roof openings. Thank you so much for the awesome support and all the likes on my videos!

dinosdarko 🌿 Greenhouse Monster - Update Papaya Frosting (Barney's Farm) 🌿Overview & Growth: We have officially reached the end of week 3 of flowering, and my Papaya Frosting from Barney's Farm is turning into an absolute tree! Thankfully, the hormonal growth spurt (Stretch) is over quickly, which was about time – the lady has put on a massive show and currently stands at an impressive height of 2.40 meters. Bent.Training & Structure: I put a lot of work into the selection and training in the early phase. I selected the plant to have 5 main branches (Main-Lining) and continuously pulled the main shoots from left to right. The result? An absolutely crazy crown diameter of nearly 3 meters from all sides! The massive main stem is extremely strong and already measures a proud nearly 7 cm in diameter at the base. To catch this enormous mass of plant tops, I’m using a double net setup. The first scrog net is set at 1.40 m, and the second, upper net is firmly mounted at 2.50 m. Currently, the highest tops still have exactly 10 cm of space until they reach the second net. Since the stretch is over, she will perfectly latch into the upper net in the coming days. This will give her exactly the physical stability she needs for heavy flower production in the next weeks. The distance between the nodes (internodes) is about 2.5 cm, super compact and healthy.Defoliation & Environment: This week, a radical care unit is on the agenda. With a diameter of 3 meters, an impenetrable jungle forms damn quickly. I performed thorough lollipopping and completely cleaned the lower third of the plant. All shady, tiny flower sites and large fan leaves below are gone. This way, 100% of the energy from the thick stem is directed straight into the upper main buds. It also massively improves air circulation at the bottom, as can be clearly seen in the pictures of the exposed stem.Regarding the environment: My greenhouse is 4 m wide, 8 m long, 3 m high, and sits on a deep foundation. I am very lucky to be able to keep all the large windows (1.70 m x 1.20 m) and the large main door completely open 24/7, as the greenhouse is located in a secured garden. Together with a continuous 3 cm wide air gap in the roof, the chimney effect works perfectly to immediately expel moisture and prevent condensation.Watering & Fertilization: This monster has a massive metabolism and gets thirsty every 4 to 5 days. I always water only when the top 2–3 cm of soil are dry, so that the organic soil life in the deeper root zones stays active and happy.Clear water afterwards: Immediately after, I massively water 40 to 50 liters of regular tap water. This flushes the nutrients deep into the soil, where the huge root system can absorb them perfectly. The plant loves this rhythm and shows no signs of deficiencies or over-fertilization. The first beautiful white hairs (stigmas) are popping up everywhere and stacking closely together. Since this is the extremely resin-rich Papaya Frosting, the first sparkling trichomes are already showing on the young flowers. On to week 4 for the real swelling of the buds and the famous Cali frost! 🚀

dinosdarko Tomorrow officially marks the start of the 5th flowering week, and this massive Papaya Frosting (Barney's Farm) [Barney's Farm] is turning into an absolute beauty! With an impressive height of 2.50 meters, deeply rooted in the mother earth, it has completely stopped its height growth (stretch). From now on, it is putting 100% of its energy into bud development and trichome production. Climate & Environment: The greenhouse setup is working flawlessly. Although autumn is setting in and outside temperatures drop to a cool 5 °C to 11 °C starting at 1:00 AM, it remains completely dry inside and outside the greenhouse. No condensation, no dew on the leaves. My controlled air system runs all night long, keeping the relative humidity safely in the optimal range. With 50 cm of space between the top shoots and the greenhouse roof, air circulation above the canopy is perfect. Plant Structure & Training: The system with the two support nets is proving to be a lifesaver. The first net is at 1.40 m, the second at about 2.20 m. The main shoots are growing straight through the mesh, giving them exactly the support they need for the enormous weight in the coming weeks. Defoliation Strategy: I heavily defoliated the inside of the plant and only left the large fan leaves on the outside. This creates a natural "chimney effect," allowing air to flow freely through the center – optimal for air exchange and perfect protection against mold. Lollipopping: Weak shoots below the 1.00-meter mark, which were completely in the shade, were consistently removed to direct all energy upward into the main buds. Bud & Resin Development: The "frost" (resin formation) is absolutely brilliant for the end of the 4th week! Looking at the buds around the 1.30-meter mark, you can see extremely short internodal distances and very dense flower clusters. The pistils are long, snow-white, and full of vitality. The sugar leaves are already covered with a thick, sticky layer of white trichomes. Due to the cool temperatures in the second half of the night, I'm very curious to see if the plant will show beautiful dark autumn colors (purples) in the next two weeks. It is absolutely healthy, robust, and ready to gain massive weight in the coming weeks!

dinosdarko Welcome to the update! The 5th week of flowering is over, and we officially start week 6 today. I have to say, the Papaya Frosting from Berner Farms is really bringing me joy right now. The genetics are showing incredible vitality here in the greenhouse. The foundation and structure: Let's start from the bottom: The stem has now reached a proud circumference of 6.3 cm. There's some serious mass behind it, almost like a small tree. I never topped the plant, so the natural dominance has been completely preserved. Instead, I trained it on five strong side branches and the main stem. This structure allows the nutrients to distribute optimally. My homemade greenhouse (8m long, 4m wide, 3m high) provides the perfect space for it. The air circulation through the large windows works great, the construction is completely sealed at the bottom, and the plant is responding excellently to the Biobizz Bio·Bloom fertilizer. My canopy management with two nets: To keep everything tidy at this size, I'm working with two SCROG nets. The lower net is positioned at 1.40 m to stabilize the branches. I originally planned the upper net at 2.50 m, but I've now flexibly lowered it to 2.30 m because the shoots were right underneath. This way, I get perfect support in the crown. The main colas are now exactly 20 cm above the net. Towards the roof, I still have a good 40 to 50 cm buffer, which is important to prevent heat from building up under the panels. Flower development and measurements: The flower structure is phenomenal for this stage of flowering. The internodal distances are extremely short, and the buds are stacking up really densely. On the middle branches, you can already see connected flower strands of almost 20 cm in length. The absolute showpiece is the un-topped main stem: The main cola measures over 50 cm of pure flower length and stands tall above the upper net. Since no shoot tip was cut off, all the power is going in here – the buds are growing into one massive spear. Fresh, white hairs are sprouting everywhere, and a beautiful, resinous layer is slowly forming on the sugar leaves – the namesake "frost" is starting to come through. The scent in the greenhouse is becoming more intense, with a really sticky-sweet note of ripe papaya. Now the buds just need to gain some density in the coming weeks. I'll keep you updated!

dinosdarko Weekly Report: Papaya Frosty – End of Flowering Week 6 / Start of Week 7 From the foundation to the roof: When selection meets pure natural power Today is the last day of the sixth flowering week, and starting tomorrow, we officially enter flowering week 7. My Papaya Frosty is now showing its true, monumental splendor under the polycarbonate panels of my greenhouse. This greenhouse is not an ordinary setup, but a real ecosystem: 4 meters wide, 8 meters long, and a proud 3 meters high. It rests on a solid foundation that is dug half a meter deep into the ground, while the roof is constructed with strategic ventilation gaps. To give nature maximum freedom, doors and windows remain wide open 24/7. The result? It has been pouring rain outside since last night, but inside, a permanent, natural airflow sweeps through the dense greenery. Not a single damp spot, no standing water on the leaves – just the perfect greenhouse climate for the upcoming final phase. The Foundation: A Pipeline in Mother Earth Everything about this plant begins in secret. By being planted directly in the deep mother earth, it has been able to build a root network that knows no pot boundaries. Anyone who looks down at the ground and measures with a ruler can immediately see the result: The main stem has reached an incredible diameter of 6.5 centimeters at the base. It is massively woody, deeply furrowed, and works like a gigantic hydraulic pipeline, continuously pumping power upwards. This foundation allowed me to use a radical cutting technique. I have consistently selected the plant for the main shoot and five strong legs. Everything below a height of 1 meter was rigorously lollipopped – no energy is wasted here on weak popcorn bud wood. Only from this one-meter mark did the shoots get to unfold, which are now held in check by two SCROG nets. The first net secures the structure at 1.40 meters, while the second catches the weight at 2.20 meters. The Middle Level: Rock-Hard Bud Mass The pictures from the middle level (between 1.40 m and 2.20 m) show what this selected energy means. The buds here are already over 5 centimeters thick – and it's pure flower structure, without the protruding leaves. What fascinates me the most at the end of this 6th week: Every single bud, down to the smallest in the partial shade, is already completely firm and rock-hard. The flower cups are stacked closely together, while a dense, frosty carpet of crystal-clear trichomes covers the sugar leaves. The long stigmas still stand flawlessly snow-white in the sap. That's the sign: Here, mass is still actively being built. Yesterday was the last time for feeding – organic with Biobizz and Top Max. Just in time for the start of week 7, the pure autumn phase begins, where the plant starts to slowly draw from its own reserves. The View Upwards: The 60-Centimeter Main Mast But the real spectacle takes place at the very top, where the plant touches the ceiling. The main tops tower at a dizzying height of 2.50 to 2.60 meters. When you measure from the very top bud downwards, the absolute exception of this grow is revealed: The main mast forms a continuous, majestic flower structure of well over 60 centimeters in length! Interestingly, the ripening here at the top occurs in reverse. While the middle level is already maturing compactly, the huge main mast, directly under the roof in the absolute focus of sunlight, is driven relentlessly by this massive light energy – it keeps pushing up vital, bright green leaves and fresh flower layers. It simply doesn't want to stop growing. It's a fascinating balancing act between the already ripening middle and the unbridled forward thrust of the crown. We are now heading into the final stretch starting tomorrow with week 7. The foundation is set, the bud mass is extremely dense, and the air circulation couldn't be better. I'm curious to see how much this 60-cm giant will swell in the coming weeks as the earth slowly starves. Stay tuned – the final sprint has just begun!
