der_mycologe OG Kush needs no introduction. It is the foundation upon which a large part of modern cannabis culture has been built. From the West Coast of the USA to the coffee shops of Amsterdam, this strain has shaped the idea of what premium cannabis can be. The HubaSeedBank version is a carefully stabilized line that reproduces the authentic OG Kush character with a consistent 25% THC. The aroma is legendary and instantly recognizable: a unique blend of earthy depth, fresh pine, diesel sharpness, and a citrus lift that brightens the entire profile. The effect combines the best of Indica and Sativa: an immediate, euphoric head rush that seamlessly transitions into a deep, full-body relaxation. An experience that simultaneously stimulates and soothes. The plant itself is medium-height and produces dense, compact buds with an impressive trichome density. As a feminized version, each seed produces a female plant, guaranteeing flower production. A must-have strain for any serious collection.

OG Kush appreciates slightly increased CalMag doses during the mid-flowering phase. The dense buds also benefit from good air circulation to prevent mold.

der_mycologe I started today, I began with Hesi Boost at 2ml and added Hesi Super Vit. I set the LED to 70% and will keep it like this until the end of the stretch.

der_mycologe She's practically exploding in the stretch, reaching out in all directions, she's taking in the full amount of nutrients well, and she handles the 100 percent light at 38cm just fine. The genetics are totally convincing so far, and I'm looking forward to the flowering. I bought a dehumidifier, and my Drainmaster is coming soon, so I'll be measuring properly. VPD at night is 1.0 and with the lights on it's 1.2 to 1.3, thanks to the Mars Hydro 12L dehumidifier.

der_mycologe I defoliated and lollipopped her on day 21. She has grown almost double in stretch at 70 cm, she can handle 100% Hesi nutrients and 100% light. She has built up a lot of material and is now going into the proper flowering stage....

der_mycologe I put a layer of clay pebbles on the pot to slightly lower the humidity, and I installed a watering system from Vivosun so that the pots are watered evenly and slowly. The fact that they are already reacting with heavy resin on the leaves means I did everything right with the climate. Full climate control. Additionally, I used bamboo sticks and secured each individual shoot so that nothing breaks during flowering!

der_mycologe 🌿 OG Kush – Flowering Week 6: The Explosion Begins!
Insane what's happening in the tent right now! We've reached week 6 of the flowering phase, and the girls are really kicking it into high gear.
🚀 The bud production is taking off:
The buds are swelling almost overnight. What started as fine hairs in the first weeks has now turned into thick, dense flower clusters that are pulling the branches down nicely. The typical compact Indica structure of OG Kush is now showing its best side. The flower calyxes are literally exploding and stacking up into fat colas.
❄️ The resin production is intense:
Anyone who knows OG Kush knows what's coming, but seeing it live is always mind-blowing. The trichomes are popping up like mushrooms. The leaves and buds are already covered in a sugary, sticky layer of resin that sparkles intensely in the light. Just lightly touching the flowers, you can immediately feel how extremely sticky and hard it gets. This is going to be an absolute resin bomb!
🍋 The smell is brutal:
Olfactorily, OG Kush is pulling out all the stops now. The room fills with that unmistakable, penetrating aroma: a heavy mix of damp earth, sharp fuel (diesel), and a fresh citrus note. Typical Kush – extremely intense and damn dominant.
Outlook: Now it's all about keeping the humidity nice and low so nothing molds on those dense buds, and watching the ladies in their final sprint. These are going to be a few legendary last weeks!

der_mycologe Sorte: OG Kush (Masse-Phase / Bulking)
@Natrona, I put him directly into the soil after he sprouted in the glass, but thanks for the tip, I’ll give it a try, thank you very much, let's grow🌱🌱🌱
@Natrona, thank you very much, I find the gathering phase is the one where you always worry that they won't come, the greater the joy when they come out of the earth
I manage to have a VPD of 0.97 when the lights are off. When the lights are on, I'm just below 1.2; I think I'll slowly raise it by the end of the stretch.
