Argos I noticed during the harvest that a fallen seed had sprouted.. since it just fits into the growing season, I transplanted it.. I'm curious to see what results this project will bring.

Argos I wrote that this seed comes from this year's Godfather Og autoflower harvest, a dropped seed, I'm curious to see if it will be a boy or a girl.

Argos There were two fallen seeds in the soil of the harvested Godfather Og autoflower pot, they were planted separately, and I'm curious to see if one of them will be a boy (because then we'll pollinate a few branches)..

Argos The first white stigmas - pollen filaments have appeared on the bigger one, I wouldn't mind if the other one is male, I would immediately pollinate a few lower branches on all my plants.. the first fallen seed brings the growth characteristics of the mother plant, by the end of the 3rd week it has made a huge jump in growth, and it keeps stretching out, the second fallen seed is about 20 cm now, it sprouted a bit later and was transplanted, I guess it lagged in growth due to early stress (it will probably be a girl too, but we'll find out soon anyway), I'm curious about the final yield.

Argos the bigger plant has doubled in size over the past week and its flower buds have appeared, however, the smaller one might be male (in which case I'll collect some minimal pollen from it).

A tip for the pots, start with fabric ones and then once the roots fill the entire root ball, transplant the fabric pot into a larger plastic one, but leaving half of the fabric pot exposed to the air, basically you get extreme aeration. Check out my Cheese diary to better understand what I mean 😉

@PSK23, their predecessors survived the nearly 50-degree temperatures on the roof in these same pots this summer.. they were just fine, thanks.. with autoflowering plants, there's no need for a fabric pot, that's why the root aeration tube is in there, but for photoperiod plants, your recommendation is worth considering, good idea.. I'll apply it next year. - thanks. :)

@Argos, the thing is that an autoflowering plant could grow to the point where it might require more liters of soil. In this case, having grown it in a fabric pot, you ensure an easy transfer by placing the fabric pot into a plastic one without touching the root system at all, ensuring yield and quality.

@PSK23, I get it.. these pots have seen several plants grow over the past decades, with yields close to a kilo.. ;) right now, one of them is home to a 2.5 m Mimosa photo and a nearly 3 m tall Fat Bastard.. the idea is actually good, thanks. :)
