ellioschka Cuttings arrived within a day via Overnight Express from MannyT. Really beautiful plants, super healthy with great white roots! 👌 Freshly arrived, they got to rest a bit on the windowsill in the sun before being placed in the grow tent. 30W light for 2 days to help with transport stress, then 100W from the spider farmer. 😊 After that, they were repotted into 0.2L net pots filled with EuroPebbles. The clay pebbles were rinsed and primed with enough Alpine Nutrients 3-Part nutrient solution beforehand. (3-Part nutrient schedule for hydroponics, weeks 1-2 Roots. pH adjusted to 5.8 with sulfuric acid) To ensure the roots penetrate the pebbles, care was taken to let the pebbles dry out a bit before watering again. Twice a day, additional foliar application of the same watering solution via spray bottle. Code for 15% discount on top cuttings and awesome nutrients: AlpineNutrients15 (on mannyt.at) MEHR-ERTRAG-15 (on alpinenutrients.com) 💪😎

ellioschka The girls are growing well, but they clearly want a bigger home. It seems a bit too humid for them, which is indicated by the clawing of the lower leaves. They are the ones with the most height gain compared to the others. Roots are growing more vertically than horizontally, but that’s likely due to the light penetration from the small pot size along with the pebbles. Next week, they can look forward to the Coco Autopots. 💪

ellioschka After weeks in the 100mL emergency quarters, the IceCreamRuntz ladies have now arrived in their forever home: 20L Coco/Perlite (70/30), 4cm clay pebbles at the bottom, the bags in copper mesh bags to prevent root penetration. 👌 The manual watering from the small phase was pure stress for the plants; the Autopots are handling that now. With more volume, stability is returning, and finally, they can recover instead of fighting for survival every day. 💀😅

ellioschka Oh yes, the ice cream dwarfs are being tortured further... 😢 After moving to their new home, a timer gave up the ghost, so they got 24 hours of light for 5 days. That hasn't been good for their overall well-being. On top of that, there was a slight magnesium deficiency due to unprimed coconut and cold outside temperatures. The tent is only heated by the lamp, so it's getting a bit cold now. We'll see if the entire grow might have to move after all. 😬 As if that stress wasn't enough, the ladies also had to lose their heads right away to break the apical growth behavior. Plus, this time they are only supposed to grow a relatively large tent as a trio. Long vegetative phase, here we come! 😌 Wish the girls luck! 👍

ellioschka The little ice cream dwarfs have really recovered well and finally seem to feel at home in their new place. 🌱🍦 However, there is a small problem: The temperature drop in the last few days is causing the little ones some trouble. Let's see how this all develops. In the worst case, the whole tent might have to move again...
