dinosdarko Flowering Week 6 (True Flowering Time): The buds are exploding and maturing Counting & Method: I strictly document my weeks here according to the "true flowering weeks." Day 1 for me was the day when the very first white hairs (pistils) were visible to the naked eye. The plant was naturally induced into flowering in the greenhouse due to the shortening days of late summer. Plant Condition & Dimensions: My Bruce Banner is looking extremely vigorous and bursting with strength. The base is a real monster: The woody main stem now measures 4 cm in diameter. The plant is built on three massive side branches ("legs") and a strong main stem. In terms of size, it has turned into an absolute bush: It currently stands proudly at 2.00 meters in height and spans about 1.50 to 1.60 meters in width. At a height of 1.40 meters, I installed a support net (screen). This is urgently needed with such weight to protect the heavy branches in the final phase from breaking. The lollipopping in the lower third has paid off completely: Everything down there is clean and free, the air circulates perfectly, and all the energy is now shooting without losses into the upper levels. The leaf color remains a rich, healthy dark green with a natural surface shine. There are absolutely no burnt tips, clawing leaves, or signs of nutrient deficiencies. Bud Development & Resin Formation: We are now at the beginning of the 6th true week, and the swelling of the buds is in full swing. For the past 2–3 days, I have been observing the first noticeable changes: The older white pistils are starting to turn brown-orange and shrink from the tips. Right below, the flower calyxes are now opening up, pushing out a layer of new, fresh flower structures that look like little stars. As a result, the buds are massively increasing in density and weight. The resin production (trichomes) on the sugar leaves is also exploding right now, and the typical sweet-diesel Bruce Banner aromas are becoming more intense in the greenhouse day by day. Fertilization & Watering: I grow purely organically with the Biobizz range. Exactly two days ago, I gave the last full dose of fertilizer. Since we are in week 6 according to the true counting method (which biologically corresponds to about week 7–8 after the pure light change) and maturity is visibly setting in, I am starting the nutrient stop from today. The microorganisms in the soil will continue to supply the plant through the organic buffer for a few more days, but from now on, there will only be clear, pH-regulated water. The goal is for the plant to draw the stored nutrients from the fan leaves in the next 2 weeks (autumn fade) to ultimately achieve a clean end product without throat scratch. Setup & Greenhouse Management (100% Passive): Cultivation takes place in a freestanding, solid greenhouse measuring 4 m wide, 3 m high, and 8 m long. The structure stands on a solid concrete foundation that is buried half a meter deep in the ground, protruding 15 cm above the soil, and the 15 cm overhang of the greenhouse perfectly protects the plant from soil cold. Now that we have arrived in October, mold prevention (bud rot) is my most important job. Thanks to the interplay of the two large windows (1.50 m x 1.20 m), the large door (1 m x 2 m), and the continuous 3 cm exhaust gap along the entire ridge of the roof, there is an outstanding, natural airflow climate in the greenhouse. Warm, humid air is immediately drawn up through the chimney effect. Since the airflow is naturally perfect, I can completely do without artificial fans – the air remains in motion everywhere, and the buds stay dry. If everything goes according to plan, I estimate the harvest window to be in about 14 to 21 days.

dinosdarko GrowDiaries Update: Flowering Week 7 – Bruce Banner in the Greenhouse Update Title: The 2-Meter Monster: Brutal Flower Stacking Without Topping! Current Status: • Genetics: Bruce Banner (Phenotype shows perfect Sativa vitality with extremely compact Indica flower structure) • Ripeness Stage: End of Flowering Week 6 (counted from the first visible hairs) / Start of Flowering Week 7 • Dimensions: Height: 2.00 meters | Span: 1.60 meters from side to side • Flowering Canopy Area: Almost 2 square meters of pure, dense flower sea in the Scrog net. 🔎 Detailed Botanical Analysis for This Update: 1. The Foundation and Structure (The "No-Topping" Method) The absolute secret behind the enormous vitality of this plant lies at its base. The main stem has never been pruned (topped). This kept the plant's natural apical dominance completely intact, and the inner vascular pathways were not blocked by scar tissue. The stem is extremely thick and woody above ground, resembling a young tree. Only three strong side shoots ("legs") were selected early on to support the main shoot. To perfectly channel the energy, the lower 50 to 60 cm were completely cleared (lollipopped). This "Clean Zone" has eliminated all unproductive sucking points. Additionally, it ensures perfect soil aeration in the autumnal October, which is why the greenhouse remains completely dry and mold-free inside despite rainy weather. 2. The Scrog Net and Area Utilization The support net perfectly directed the main shoot and the three massive legs outwards. A flawless, horizontal flowering canopy was created over a span of 1.60 m. The light yield in the greenhouse is phenomenal: since the shoots are perfectly distributed in space, even the lower buds beneath the net receive massive light and are full of fresh, white stigmas (pistils). There are practically no inferior "popcorn buds" on this plant. 3. Flower Development (Measuring Tape Analysis) A look at the measuring tape shows the brutal extent of the flower cups: a continuous flowering skeleton stretches over a length of 40 to 50 cm on the individual shoots! The plant exhibits phenomenal "stacking" – the spaces between the individual flower levels (internodes) are hardly noticeable. The buds are already pushing against each other sideways. By the end of week 6, the buds are already extremely fleshy and compact. 4. Resin Coverage and Plant Health The leaves are perfectly juicy and show a rich, healthy dark green without any signs of deficiency or over-fertilization. The small sugar leaves around the buds already display a pronounced, silvery "frost veil" of dense trichomes. The genetics are fully expressing themselves and promise extreme THC and aroma potential in the upcoming final two weeks. The plant is on the verge of a brutal weight explosion!
