Hey y’all!! I hope everyone is having an amazing week so far!! So this is me going back a few weeks to start this journal. I’m currently on week 3... 6/24/19. My set up and everything seems to be okay for now. I have lots to learn and I’m so excited to meet some cool people on here! I’m totally okay with criticism and I hope that eventually I can get to a point where IM giving people tips. Cannabis became a huge part of my life because it helped with so much and I’m forever grateful! I hope to hear from some people soon!! Happy growing

Week 2 was a bit chaotic because I was still learning so much about everything g cannabis. Everything’s looking green and I haven’t quite checked the ph levels yet, but for right now they seem to be doing okay! Went to a hydroponic store and was able to get some really great information on them! She said they looked great and I should be okay. I was confused on soil mediums and transplanting and nutes it’s all just very confusing, but I’m getting better with this.

Week 3 has been CRAZY!! This growth is the craziest I’ve seen. I mean obviously everyone’s probably looks like this or even bigger but I’m just super excited !!! So all my babes are in 3/5 gallon pots. The soil is this hydroponic already nutes in it stuff from Wally World. I’m not over watering (I think) and it seems like they’re all doing pretty okay! The 3 little girls in the black Smart Pots were started at the same time as the others, but they all grow at their own pace I guess? How is everything looking? The spacing might be a bit too stretched but if they seem like it’ll be okay that’s awesome!!

Still no nutrients or LST. This is my first grow so I wanted to let it be mostly natural and then see what it yields ( which probably will not be a lot ). My next grow I’ll try LST and maybe some lights Nutes because I think autos are really worth it

Still no nutes. I had a couple smaller plants that were planted and germinated at the same time as the other bigger girls. I thought they were going to die, but they didn’t. They’re definitely catching up as you can see in the grow tent next to the others. I’m just very concerned that I am going to mess something up now. I tucked a fan leaf behind to expose more of the cola and it broke off :( I’m just really nervous as to what the next few weeks will bring. Any recommendations please please please let me know! They seem Happy they’re all green and they’re still growing but Dad’s a nervous wreck :(

Still added no nutrients because of the organic stuff that was in my soil. I started some more seeds if you see the solo cups. Everything seems to be catching up and flowering really nicely. Again, there’s a couple plants that are so much smaller than the bigger ones, but that wouldn’t be science if they didn’t grow at different rates/stages, right? Other than that, watering every few days or so when the soils dried out... i do NOT want bud rot!!

Pretty slow week... no added nutrients or changes. Sticking with a light watering every few days or so. Other than that, just admiring and watching them- letting them do their thing :)

They’re getting so fat <3 I’m excited... I started to see the trichomes and it’s wicked crazy to think it’s -almost- over!!! How long does it look until it’s done? Anyways, still no nutrients but these are autos so it’s easy to grow so I’m not trying to put myself on a pedestal... but I think I’m doing really well for a newbbbb. Hope everyone has a great week I’ll see you next week :)

Stay at it dude, I started my first grow recently too (check out my diary) and used a small LST to start off with... I have now started my second and "topped" it today, will be heavy LST'ing that one... Google and read up, outside the comfort zone is where we learn the most. You'll be fine.

@Anxious_Passenger, I believe it’s too late now for the girls and LST since they’re already in flower (most of them). But I started 9 more babes so we’ll see!! And I’m gonna check out your grow diaries now :) thank you!!

I’m thrilled for you that you are excited!! It’s awesome to witness, isn’t it? The aroma alone! Congratulations and enjoy your harvest. “ ... but these are autos so it’s easy to grow ... “ That’s certainly the appeal to many, but there is absolutely no difference in what you have to do to grow photos, except adjusting a timer. And many people say autos are finicky. Once you’ve gotten a few harvests, and want to grow a really big plant, try photo. Very satisfying. You become Dr Frankenstein and the plants are your MONSTERS!!

Nice strain. I’m just finishing 5 of the same. It was nerve wracking but well worth it. Some of the more troubling plants have given the most buds! Just be patient. I have gone on 15 weeks now and will harvest in a few days. Did 2 plants at 13 weeks. I think I delayed them with my amateur ways. The drying phase is difficult to get right. First dry was a bit too quick.

They look great. Do you plan on doing any LST?

Luciditecommented6 years ago
@Thegaygrower, I’m sure it is possible. You have big pots full of soil. Will be interesting to see whether they grow well without additional nutes. My soil ph went a bit high (7.5-8) towards the end of the grow. I’m sure it was nutrient build up. Good luck!

@Lucidite, this soil is great! It has all organic nutrients that will feed for up to 3 months. I am going to start the nutes maybe next week or honest??? Maybe never! I mean they seem to be doing great so far so I am going to wait until they “need” something. But for now they seem happy and healthy :) but I did buy organic bud grow from the store so I am going to try that and see what happens for my next grow!

@Thegaygrower, give them a few nutes :) 1/2 the recommended dose. Good soil should give you 2 weeks nutrients at least I would have thought. I actually thought hydroponic soil was nutrient free, in order to allow all nutrients to be delivered ‘hydroponically’?

You possibly still have 4 weeks left before the chop. Maybe 5. Get a pocket microscope or a jewellers’ loupe and watch the trichomes. 30-50% cloudy and I would start flushing with 1-2 weeks to go. Aim for 100% cloudy unless you want something different.
