wedonttrustyou Getting the seeds started using the Ziploc and paper towel method. I usually have really good success germinating like this so I didn't try and pop any extras this time around. trying to keep the tent slightly warmer than I usually do to try and encourage the seeds to germinate. now, we wait.

wedonttrustyou 3/4 seeds have turned to seedlings! still waiting on one of the Alaskan purples to come up, but I believe it will. I've been keeping the humidity on the higher side while the seedlings get adjusted while keeping the coco slightly damp. today we set up the drip irrigation to automate our process a little more, then next week we'll start feeding them.

wedonttrustyou I won't lie, I am kind of regretting using autos for this grow. That being said, I love punishing myself so I added two more plants. But seriously, not because there's anything wrong with them, but because they're finicky and there's not really any room for error. All of the seeds have germinated, and are still growing, but I am running into some little issues here and there with my humidity and my night time temperatures. it gets just slightly too cold for comfort, so I will have to figure out how to run a heater safely for part of the night in our garage. My humidity stays around 45% most the time, so I mist the plants a few times a day at this point while I wait for the humidifier. I got the drip irrigation set up as well and it works great, but in hindsight I would have invested into some kind of continuous pH monitor to keep myself from having to check the pH everyday to make sure all is well. I think they're all growing pains that can be fixed pretty easily (I hope).

wedonttrustyou All is mostly the same as last week. one of the Alaskan Purple Autos from Seedsman didn't make it, so they were replaced by some other strains I only had a single seed left of. Since the temperature is dropping and the heat is coming on most nights in our house, the humidity has suffered a little, but not unmanageable. I fed everyone for the first time today with Flora Trio, 1 ml/gal of each.
