ShivaShanti Last night I randomly chose one seed from a mixed pack containing 5 varietals from Fastbuds RF3 Line. Using outdoor tempered (80°F) dechlorinated reverse osmosis water. I placed the seed into the water about 12 hours ago. To my surprise the seed germinated fast, and quickly produced a suitable taproot for planting. I would say about 2-3 mm long. Some seeds are just waiting to explode to life. Germinated and sewn into growing medium. Clock starts when she exits the grow medium and her first set of true leaves develop. Then we say Go... If this is any indication of vigor. Looks like we may be in for a show. I am still learning how to use this platform to document my hobby grows. This is purely for my entertainment and fun. I enjoy growing the plant for its immense beauty, incredible scents, and the hobby skills involved with harvesting, drying, and curing. All of which are fun for me. So if you are interested in guessing which variety will grow. It will be one the following. Banana Purple Punch Auto RF3, Guava Auto RF3, Strawberry Gorilla Auto RF3, Apple Strudel Auto RF3, lastly and the one im hoping to get Cherry Cola Auto RF3. We are currently in Fall and will slowly head into the winter months. My region is tropical. Its still 80°F outside but we will recieve cold fronts periodically through February beginning of March. Whatever plant we get will be finished by this time. I am hoping the lower humidity, dry season, cooler temps will provide a great environment for Indica Dominant strains. It will allow me to feed properly without overwatering. It will not be extremely hot and humid. No danger of mold or mildew or pests. This is the best season to grow in the tropics. Lets follow along and see what happens. I will try my best.

ShivaShanti Time starts now on the mixed RF3 pack. Im curious to see what this turns into. I have it planted in a small 3qt pot with my experimental soil blend. I will not begin feeding until the 3-4 internode as the soil blend has more than enough to get this little one started. I have find this blend to be generally safe on newly germinated seedlings. I know some place jiffy peat plugs into the center of their pots and plant germinated seeds into the jiffy mix for fear of burning the new seedling. I have found that to be unnecessary with Foxfarm Ocean Forest Mix and Happy Frog Mix. With Bat Guano and Worm castings. Edit: typos I also amend with additional Bat Guano, Bone Meal, Worm Castings, BioChar, Chunky Perlite, Bonsai Mini Lava Rock, and a touch of Peat. Being in a tropical region I do not want my medium to hold water. My objective is for the medium to dry out every day even if there has been a rain storm or a watering.

ShivaShanti Mixed Pack RF3 Mystery Auto is growing with excellent vigor. Just started 1/2 strength fertilizer. I will be drying back and power feeding and controlling watering levels carefully. During the dry season / winter I can have more control with mitigating overwatering. All summer my plants have been over watered, fighting extreme heat, and extreme humidity. Well, thats over now. We are entering the best growing season in my tropical region. I can't wait to grow some dense heavy large indica flowers. Just can't wait. Hurry up little lady.
