Well I stumbled thru my first week. Lucky that she needed humidity because it was abundant. She didnt need much from me yet other than some ph adjustments but today is the end of week 1 and I will be adding nutes tonight.
Today is the end of day 7 since she broke ground. I've been using distilled water and the ph seems good. I added 1.25 ml and now The ppm is at around 38 ppm. Are the tips of the new leaves supposed to be that light green or are they getting burned?
Well I added 280 ppm nutes and she showed signs of burn and the leaves dropped. I lowered the ppm to 200. Is that good enough? It's a very small amount of brown around the edges but I dont want it to get bad.
That kind of burn around the edges of the leafs is usually related to magnesium deficiency, so make sure you're adding micro to your mix . there isnt one single level for PPMs, just follow and respond to your plant. Hope this helps 🚀

Havent taken many pictures this week but I had to add 2 gallons throughout the week. Also had to mix nutrients midway through the week cause shes eating it all. Ppm dropped all the way to 100 from 300 2 times. Today I think I'll try doing more so I dont have to add midway through the week. Hopefully I dont burn her.
Mixed veg nutes to 550 ppm at 6.0 ph first day of the week and on the third day I had to add more nutrients. I added water twice a day every day. I should have added more nutrients on the fifth day of the week but I didnt have time and she shows a touch of deficiency on the tips of the new growth at the top. Hopefully week six goes well I just mixed flower nutrients today!
Started the week at 725 ppm which was stronger than I meant to. Remixed on day 38 to 650 ppm. I've been adding the ph up incorrectly. Noticed some calmag deficiency in the last day or two so I'll be upping the calmag to 15 ml. She seems to be doing well. I'm losing the battle against the smell. My whole house smells like dank.she drinks 1 gallon every 24 hours I only add ph'd water between feeds. I cant believe she grew 7 inches this week!
Well I've made some newbie mistakes. I didn't increase the calmag like I should have for flower and she shows my mistake for that along with what looks to be a slight nitrogen deficiency at the end of the week but overall shes doing well and growing like a weed!
Well I let the ph get too high around mid week and she stopped eating for 12 hours. I changed the water early so she was only in the ph corrected water for 24 hours and now has fresh nutrients and already ate 100 ppm in the first 12 hours and drank almost no water. Hopefully I didnt slow growth early in flower. I also let her grow too close to the light so the main bud has bleaching. Even through all my mistakes shes doing good I think.
I did some defoliation slowly over the last week. She drinks about a half gallon every 12 hours. The smell changed from a sweet cannabis smell to a very strong lemon candy smell. Hopefully she packs on some weight soon cause all I see so far is popcorn haha. Now I see why people train and prune. I have some smaller branches around the outside edge of the plant that never quite grew to be what they should have. But I'm learning and loving it.
Gave her too much with 1000 ppm she got some brown tips. She's finally gaining weight but I'm not really sure what I should expect. I'd love to hear some opinions or even some guesses on yield? My light is as high as I can go so there is some light bleaching on top few.
Shes definitely got more weight in buds. And the trichomes are beginning to get milky at the top of the plant. I'd say maybe 30% cloudy. I think she has some weeks to go and I. Glad cause I need her to fatten up...a lot. I bought some nirvana by AN to hopefully help with bigger buds. I didn't do great at documenting this week because i was finishing up the room I've been working on for smoking/growing. She's even been getting some real sunlight though the window.
Well looks like 1000 ppm is still to high. She packed on a little more weight this week but I just need someone to tell me what to expect. On the top third of the buds it's around 50% cloudy. I still dont really see any amber so I'm gonna try to be patient with her. Any and all input would be appreciated.
I figured out the problem. Nitrogen toxicity. Too bad I didnt fix this before it got this far.
Well guys this was the roughest week I've had so far. Feels like I'm flailing on the final stretch of the grow. I messed up by trying to correct the nitrogen toxicity by reducing the amount of micro but that caused massive ph issues. Ph would fall from 6 to 4 in just a few hours. Had to give her plain water for 24 hours which caused some sadness in her. I think I finally have the solution mixed correctly but I've accepted that she will have small thin buds and lots of larf.
Well I had to chop early due to the smell and a deadline. Im not even able to actually do the drying because of the smell. I'm trusting it to a friend so hopefully it goes well.
She got the chop about 3 weeks ago. So it's all still curing but I've sampled a few buds and it is great smoke. Only one down side is the loos airy buds but I'm happy with my first grow. Sadly it will be a long time before I can grow another one due to space. I've had more fun with the grow than I expected and I cant wait to grow another one. Definitely gonna keep the nitrogen in check next time
I would say yes to light too close plus some heat stress. The yellowing in the middle and the curling of the leaves is a sign of heat stress and light burn. I add a small amount of nutrients at about day 8-10 of life, or day1-5 of Veg depending on how she looks. Start low 150-200 PPMs and work your way up slowly. Good luck and happy growing!! 👊
Your plants look healthy and very frosty. Without being there on a daily basis it can be tricky making a diagnosis or giving to much advice. I, however, think your light is insufficient and that is why they are thin and wispy. I could be wrong though. What kinda lighting are you using? Peace

Then, yes you would probably need 2 more, 3 total to get some decent buds. First, 3000K is an okay spectrum, 3500k is better for veg and flower. You would be better off with some of what I use. I have 10 of these lights and grow pounds of cannabis. 8 - 3500k COB, 1 - 2700k COB and 1 - 6500k COB. The beauty is they are single lights, 60w each, and you can start with 1 and expand as needed or desired. Check out the lights at Cobshop dot net They are less expensive than what you have and made especially for growing cannabis. Peace
@MikeyP, wow that's amazing for tmac first timer. @fast_buds genetics are amazing but it still takes a good grower with proper conditions. Dont sell your abilities short there my friend. Again, very nice work and keep it up.
