BemaGwaai I'm growing is for medical reasons; (seriously) y wife has suffered a stroke and has between 4 and 6 seizures a day, suffers from chronic fatigue and pain. Amnesia Haze ticks a few boxes.
This is all new, a real newbie, so super exciting. The seeds germinated! one in soil the other in a glass and there is no difference in the performance yet.
They are named, like Eddie Stobart Names his trucks; the theme is hazed so it's Misty and Dazy. :-)
They are under florescent T5 ceiling lights I've dig out of a dumpster and provide around 144w for the two plants and are around 6" from the leaves. I'm keeping a check on stretch.
The temperature is a little high so I've changed the timer on the lights from 24 hours to 18/6.
😀
Now. My plan is to spray one of these plants with silver colloidal and collect pollen to fertilize one of the buds, on the other plant so I can have seed for the next grow.
I'm keeping a database on growth, watering, temps and anything else I can measure.

BemaGwaai Growing well and have not added nutrients. The lights have been modified, 216w per 2ft light fitting and three units in the grow room. A total of 648w for 15sqft.

BemaGwaai No real change - plants growing.....I've been taking measurements and recording them in a database. I'm able to compare them against Amnesia Haze

BemaGwaai The plants have suddenly taken off - getting tall and I've been running out of space, with the light burning leaves. I had little option but to bend them over - LST. Using copper wire, I wrapped the stem and gently bent them over.

BemaGwaai The rope holding up the lights slipped in my hand and crashed onto both amnesia haze plants. After much swearing, I lifted the light to find the main stem of the plant severed. Much more swearing.
Cuttings were taken from the severed top and much grumbling for a few days was heard.

BemaGwaai My grow room is a mixture between a SOG and SGROG; they are packed in tightly and any branches that reach up to the light are being bent over and held in place by wire. Today I've added tomorite (half strength) to all the plants. they are still not flowering but there are loads of preflower wispy antenna at every node.
The first plants are Amnesia Haze and the photo is of the two plants, the furthest one away has the broken main stem

BemaGwaai I'm running out of space and height. The video gives you an idea of how crammed the wee grow room has become. The Rhino filter is working well.
The Northern lights that I dropped the lights onto, was a fine specimen before the accident. I'm hoping that colloidal silver will produce anthers allowing the collection of pollen. I can then cross that with a few select flowers so I have seed for next year.
BemaGwaai Plants in the grow room are going mad, I'm having to bend them away from the lights. he colloidal silver appears to have made Dazy produce pollen sacks; Dazy is the plant that broke with the light dropping on her. I'll use that feminized pollen to make sure I've seed for the future.

BemaGwaai I went away for a couple of weeks and left it in the hands of the apprentice. Unfortunately, the watering was not ideal so lost a few large leaves but it ended up almost lollipopping the plants.
The buds are starting to swell, and it's also stopped stretching.

BemaGwaai Added urine and ash fertiliser - high in potassium, and upped the watering so it's looking pretty good. The buds are still expanding and I'm hoping it's going to be soon to harvest. The trichomes seem to be clear/slightly milky but not amber yet.

BemaGwaai It was time for harvest. the video was taken outside - a little bit of real sunshine before the chop. With out a microscope it was particularly difficult working out the colours of the trichomes. So I guessed.
After drying was used by the patient and it has helped by reducing pain, anxiety but most of all reducing the number of seizuers. This makes a huge difference in the quality of life.

BemaGwaai This is an easy strain to grow. In the end I had about an Oz from the plant. The fact I messed around with lights, watering and all the other environmentals, I'm delighted to get one ounce. For the next grow I'll use super soil, LED lights and have an automatic watering and heating system. I expect the results to be significantly better and probably shorted time to harvest.
100g wet
28g dry
Good flavor, structure and size.
