The one big plant was a very slow grower and is much older then the other small ones. The bigger plant has been in veg for about 10 weeks. Out of the 4 small plants, 2 were about 6 inch so I'm using lst only on those. The 2 smaller plants were around 4 inch so I topped those and will just let them grow. I plan to leave them in veg for around 2 weeks from now.
Watered at ph 6.5 before taking picture.
1.5L for the bigger plant and 1L for the smaller plants.
Only lst from now on will be purely to try to keep canopy at an even level. Ties already used are staying for maintenance.
1 week left in veg seems likely. I will evaluate if those smaller plants are big enough next week to start flower. Hopefully they are.
Next week is going to be watering with some compost tea mixed in.
I just watered the plants with 800ml each of freshly brewed compost tea.
Compost tea had:
5L demineralized water
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon bat guano
3 tablespoon seaweed extract
1 tablespoon kelp meal
I plan to switch to flower in a couple of days.
One of the plant seems deficient so I'll probably wait to figure out what's wrong with it.
I have been a bit busy so it's been more then a week since my last update, I switched to 12/12 8 days ago.
Unfortunately, the big plant, top#1 and top#2 ended up being male. I still have lst#1 and lst#2. Lst#2 is female I'm sure and for lst#1 I'm almost sure.
Just water this week but they will get some compost tea next week.
I have the plants some compost tea this week made with worm castings, guano and liquid seaweed with molasses.
Lst#1 looks to be about 1 week behind lst#2.
The plants stretched a bit more this week and the pistils are popping like crazy. I did some very light defoliation on the bottom for leaves and nodes that were getting no light.
The smell is weak as of right now but I can start seeing some trichomes, hopefully they show on next week's update!
I can now see some frost on the lst#2, hopefully #1 starts showing it soon. Smell is still a bit week.
I have some compost tea brewing, same recipe as last time but with blackstrap molasses now.
The plants seems to be having some issue but I'm not too worried for the moment.
Both have some burnt leaves tips and lst#1 has been losing some of the lower leaves.
I think it might be a ph issue, I'll buy some distilled water this week and check the runoff.
On another note the smell is definitely here now, thank god for carbon filter
So after a flush and testing the runoff water, the pH looked fine.
I started seeing some discolouration and the leaves and by elimination I figured I was having a nitrogen deficiency and it was progressing.
I watered with some general hydroponics nutrients and it seemed to have fixed the issue for now.
Lst#2 is getting heavy and bending the branches, I'll need to add some support later today or tomorrow.
Plants are doing good, didn't get worse following the deficiency,
Lst#2 is definitely putting on some weight while lst#1 seems to be a bit behind, I love seeing the difference between both phenos.
Lst #2 is almost ready for harvest, I'm keeping a close eye on the trichomes.
As for lst#1, there still seem to be some time to go. Leaves were turning yellow once again all over, I gave it some more bottles nutes.
