HARVEST - PREP.
18th-Oct - Day 73
Scheduled and planned harvest was, that i will harvest the big plant with end of this week. As i have no time to do this, i switched off the grow light of my LED-panel. Its 1 cluster which i switched off of the 4 cluster-lights, and the grow-light is for the seedling only. As i want, that the buds do not reach maturity so fast as in the last week, i hope they do it more slowly now with switching off 1 LED-cluster light.
As i saw through the microscope today, seems that less light really helps. π
Changing the trychomes-colour to amber colour did a little slow down now, so i can harvest few days later.
Plan is now, that i will harvest middle/end of next week (<25th-Oct)
The trychomes of the big plant are
80 % milky, 10 % clear, 10 % amber. The small plant has 90 % milky trykes, rest is clear and a few amber trykes. So the small plant has more milky trykes than the big plant, therefore the small one has no amber trykes, the big one has approx. 10 %.
20-30% amber trykes is the highest amount, i want to have.
So next week will be the ideal time-schedule for the harvest of both plants :-)
Tried an testbud yesterday - the potency was great! This will be a very fine and tastefull weed and i think, this will be my best grow i did so far. ππ¬
====================
Update - 22th-Oct - Day 77
READY FOR HARVEST!
Both plants will be ready for harvest in 3 days!
We have a small amount of amber trychomes on the big plant - approx. 10- 15 %, 80% is milky, rest is clear.
Don't want to wait longer just to be sure, that do not come into an trychome-state, which has an narcotic potency only.π΄
The small plant has 90-95 % milky trychomes, and a few amber trykes - this plant will come to harvest together with the big plant. So i will harvest both plants in 3 days.
Today is tuesday, tomorrow i will switch off the lights, so the plants will be in the dark more than 48 hrs, and at friday afternoon i will cut them.
All is looking fine, most of leaves are already yellow which is a good sign that the plants are coming to their end now, they have used all the stuff they need, which is stored in the leaves. It's a good sign too, that all of the nutrients was used from the plants and no kind of nutrient is remaining in the plant. π
I' m awaiting approx. 110-130 grams dry Buds for both plants in summary ππ¬π - so it must be a wet weight of approx. 500-600 grams.
Today i have uploaded last photos from the living plants. Next photos will be the harvest- photos :-)

@malkaff89, Hi, yes, i can recommend it. My present grow which i am harvesting these days (Jack Herer), was done with the Gc4 too, and it seems, that I will have a very good yield. Complete grow was done with the GC4. I cannot compare with other LEDs, because i donβt have any other, but i am very happy with GC4 and itβs giving me enough light in my 60x60 tent. What i very like with this LED, is the possibility to switch on/off 3 stages of light (Seedling-, Vegetation- and Blooming stage). So, I would buy it again, but there are also very critical opinions against the GC4 in the communities, but i cannot agree. For me itβs perfect.
