Soaked seeds in distilled water for 15 hrs. Transferred to paper towel for 36 hrs before producing tap roots. The first pineapple didn’t pop, luckily I ordered 2. The 2nd pineapple is 2 days behind the others. CFL’s utilized to stimulate sprout/growth this first week.
At Day 7 of Pineapple (Day 10 for other 2) I switched to 100 watt white LED veg light. Plan is to go with the 300w Mars Hydro at Day 14 along with a nutes schedule. Introduced a bit of Rhizo to the mix this week.
The Blackberry has a condition called Whorled phyllotaxy. I have contacted Fast Buds about how to handle this little girl. Articles/forums I’ve read say to keep it while others say to pitch it. I’ve begun germination on the 2nd Blackberry I received in my order just in case. The plant is doing quite well as are the Pineapple and Green Crack. This is my 3rd Green Crack this year. It never disappoints! I’ve installed the Mars Hydro 300w and began nutes. Looking to see marked growth this week. UPDATE: Fast Buds assured me the condition with the Blackberry is benign (to my relief) she’s thriving and looks healthy.
Began nutes on all 3 , had to slow down with the pineapple , she has 3 less days of growth than the other 2 and began to show tip burn. Straight Ph water is doing the trick now . The others are taking nutes well.
The Blackberry really stretched this week. The other two are more in line height wise. All seem happy and healthy. I kicked up the nutes as they have become more thirsty as days and weeks go by. The pineapple is not liking too much nutes so I mix hers up diluted with Ph water.
The Blackberry has stretched out significantly in one week. The other two are short and bushy. I have begun a moderate mix of both the bloom nutes and terminator, this as they transition from vegetation to flower.
