A cold start in germination, but warmed up nicely after she broke soil.
She's making good slow progress seeing as it is a little early for our outdoor season, but I wanted to see how they did in colder weather.
Gave myself a bit of a fright today, it was hot in the greenhouse and put a humidity dome over her for not even an hour & returned to her with her leaves curled up and not looking too happy. It happened a bit with my first clone last season with fast humidity changes, so kinda knew she would be ok, but no more humidity domes for her anymore haha
Not looking for the biggest yields, just testing to see how they do so early in the season and doing a bit of strain hunting to find my favorites so I can do lots more of them!
Another cold week, the risk of planting early caught me a bit.
Gave myself a bit of a fright with her earlier this week. Put a humidity dome over her to try keep her warmer, the sun came out for a little while & after not even an hour I found her curling up, so took the dome off & she recovered quite quickly, but has definitely stressed her a bit. She is making extremely slow progress, but she's still looking healthy, so hoping for the best...
Adding nutrients to every 2nd water & using collected rain water. Only watering every 3 days or so and just a few drops, she's not that thirsty due to her size and the cold weather, hopefully this week warms up & she can make some proper progress. Will definitely wait a bit later before I start next season so that the weather is hopefully more consistent.
A cold start to the week, but started to warm up nicely.
Been sun hunting & moving her around the garden to get as much direct sun as possible.
Still slow progress, her new leaves went a bit neon yellow and think it was a combination of the soil holding too much moisture in the cold and the humidity shock I gave her last week.
Doing a light fish mix foliar feed once a week and only watering/feeding every 3 days.
Gave all my girls 150ml of an epsom salt mix (1 table spoon in 5l) today too.
Weather looks good for the next week, so hopefully some good progress.
A nice warm start to the week and some nice progress, but she is still really small.
Upped the watering and nutes a little, but still only watering with collected rain water every 2 to 3 days depending on the weather and skipped the foliar feed as it was getting cold toward the end of their week when I was planning to do it and didn't want to let them sit with moisture on the leaves.
A bit of a chilly start to the week, but opened up for most of it & the night temps have been a bit warmer most nights.
This LSD is one of my smaller plants & has been going slowly, but now that its warming up a bit I can see she's finally pushing out some bigger leaves and the neon yellow/green has gone. Think it's just bad soil and the water doesn't drain too well. Will replace it with Freedom Farms soil once she's done.
Only fed rain water and some Bio-Grow this week. Skipped the foliar feed due to a few cold days when I wanted to do it.
She has shown a few preflowers, so hoping she stretches a lot, otherwise she's going to be a tiny lollipop.
A bit of an up and down week, had one night of around 8/9C and today we got up to 44.6C in my greenhouse, so instead of sun hunting with my girls I was shade hunting mid day, trying to find the coolest spot for them, but still in good light.
Been watering a little more due to the heat, but this one seems to have maxed out and is flowering.
Switching over to Bio-Bloom and gave some Bio-Grow to hopefully encourage her to stretch a bit, but not much hope for that.
Will have to try another one now that the weather is playing with a bit better, but still keen to try what I get from her.
A super hot start to the week, but mellowed out and had one or 2 overcast days, but the sun still made it through and has been nice and mild the last few days.
Been watering and feeding lots more & they seem to be loving it! Getting a bit bigger, so she's much more thirsty, especially on the hot days.
Started giving full dose of Bloom and added the Fire Juice from FF, will slowly wind down with the Grow, Fish Mix and MicroLife as they flower more.
Did a bit of defoliation this week, very light and only took off the bigger fan leaves that were covering the bud sites and she's already filled in again nicely.
Not flowering too seriously yet, but she's getting there quickly.
Also she's started to smell a bit & has got me super excited already, she's got a smooth woody smell with a citrusy undertone coming through.
She's still small, but had a good bit of growth this week, hope she has a bit more in her before she flowers properly.
A nice mild week with only one cold day and night yesterday.
Good progress and flowering a bit more seriously now and the purple is coming. Bummed she's so small, but had a few issues. I have more beans, so will try again now that it's warmer.
Switching over to mainly Bloom and Fire Juice, but still giving a bit of Grow, Fish Mix and Micro Life. From next week I'll only give flower food.
Looks like we're in for another nice mild, sunny week, so hope they stretch a tiny bit more and the buds fill out well.
Nice warm & mainly sunny week.
This is a fussy one and had a few problems along the way, so next one I'll just water and not do any LST.
She's small, but looking beautiful and the purples are really setting in now. Hopefully she fills out a bit more so I have something to smoke, but will try her again and be more careful.
Switched over to only flower food, but again, she's fussy and just the very tiniest part of the leaf tips are showing the start of nute burn, so I'll just give her small doses of water till she's done.
Warm start to the week, but the 2nd half was a bit cooler and some overcast days.
Stopped feeding and will flush till she's done. A little burn on the tips of the leaves... seems to be a fussy one & should just use minimal water & let her do her thing.
Also put her in shit soil, so that's not helping & will do one properly soon.
Trichomes are clear as a bell, so has a few weeks still, maybe 3? Smell is super sweet too... can't put my finger on the other scents I'm picking up, but she smells good so far!
Looks like we're in for a cold rainy week, so she'll probably stay in the greenhouse 99% of the time this coming week.
Played with focus stacking, so most of the trichomes should be sharp and have the most fun zooming into the full res and getting lost.
Quite a bad week weather wise, but a few warm days to pick things up.
Lot's of rain and thick cloud, so not much light coming through.
Filling out nicely and not far from the finish line.
Flushing and only giving collected rain water from here on out.
Not much on her and don't think I'll get much more than a tester joint out of it, but that's fine. She had some struggles along the way & will do another one & be way more careful now that I know she's a little fussy. Tiny, but such a beautiful plant with the craziest colour and the leaves have started to fade quickly adding even more colour!
A nice warm, mainly sunny week again. One or 2 cooler days, but good weather overall.
Flushing with collected rainwater and been watering a lot on the warmer days and have been working, so give big doses every 2 or 3 days.
My first plant ever to get one of those guttation drops, so first time seeing it with my own eyes and couldn't resist getting a few shots of the droplet.
Lots of amber trichomes on the bottom of the buds, so going to snip her tomorrow.
Smell is also amazing, a sweet, smooth smell with a hint of citrus.
I enjoyed this, very unique taste, quite difficult to describe. A sweet funky chem and diesel mix and almost like under ripe berries, a little bitter with a tart finish that turns almost citrus.
I unfortunately struggle a lot with this strain outdoors and am still trying to find the trick to her. Otherwise a really different smoke and nice relaxing high, not too couch locked and no dry mouth or eyes and no munchies. I'll definitely keep trying until I get the hang of her.
Struggled with this girl. I think she is sensitive to a bit of everything. Over watering, feeding, temperature. I need to experiment and see if I can find the trick to her, but was such a beautiful & unique plant, I am happy to grow her even if she's small.
@GanjaFarmerGrow, Thanks!
After the humidity fright the new leaves went almost yellow, but have given her some TLC & she's gone dark green again & back on track!
@outdoor_grow_420, they have some great strains. My Tangie'Matic and Zkittlez look and smell amazing! Harvesting the Tangie'Matic tomorrow, so not long till I can try my 1st one from them! Getting lots more, so am super happy! 😊
@ReinDeer, Thank you!
My first tester was a bit overwhelming haha, everything hit me at once and being so different I didn't know what I was tasting, but enjoyed how different it was. Had to have another test to try to break it down and just kept tasting more and more in it. Hopefully I can get a better harvest from her next season.
I’m doing the same strain now, unfortunately not tracking a diary, but I could post some photos on others I’m doing 😊 Had it before and smoking her is indeed something unique 💪🔥
@ReinDeer, Awesome! If you post some in a diary, let me know which one to check out, otherwise pop some on insta & I'll definitely see them ;)
Pity this one is so small, but got 8 more seeds, so one of them should do well hahaha
She is getting there! Weather hasn't been the best this passed week at least for me. Crazy wind basically everyday. Moving my plants like 3 times a day to get the most out of the sun where it is sheltered. Goodluck hope she gives you some dank ganja😎
@BudsZA, only seeing this comment now for some reason haha
Yeah, last week was a rough one, thought we were getting out of it.
Wasn't too much wind here, but I'm also sun hunting when it's out & do 2 moves a day, but some shifting in the morning spot to keep moving with the shadows.
Looks like we are in for mainly warm days for the next bit, so hope she gets going. Wind was rough last night & went out a few time to check on them, but luckily they are quite sheltered where they are.
@GreasyLuigi, thanks man! Got that 5+5 deal, so trying one a bit early for the season, but can't wait to do another one later & see how big she can get!
@ReinDeer, just saw your last LSD-25 grow & the dark flowers look so good! Great job! Hope mine has good colour and look forward to see how she smells & tastes too!
