Thanks for having a look! Even though this is week 5 I started the collective grow diary with freshly germinated seeds and I was away for 12 days with the light way too far away, so these plants are catching up a bit. This is really more like week 2 or 3 in terms of development.
Please note this is my second grow!
Pots: Transplanted from .5 L airpots and solo cups into 1 gal fabric pots. I wish they were a bit deeper and larger. I intend to move them into 5 gal equivalent air pots before bloom. Some minor root spiraling occurred in the solo cups. I'm happy to have transplanted now as much later may have created a root ball. I'm curious about the fabric pots and chose them out of economy.
Soil: I used 4 gallons EB Stone Emerald Triangle Recipe 420 soil augmented with 1 gallon perlite, 1/2 gallon organic worm castings, 1/2 gallon rinsed coco coir, 2 cups greensand and 1/2 cup of diatomaceous earth. I top dressed the pots with Growstone Gnatnix as fungus gnats are pervasive here even though I don't over water.
Nutrients and such: adding mycorrhizae, humic acids, and root microbes have definitely helped rapidly develop the plants and roots. I'm seeing some purple stems which is magnesium deficiency from using bottled spring water. Using CalMag to correct.
Light: I added my second Viparspectra 300 as the space is filling out. 2 VIPARSPECTRA 300 @ 136 W each. These are well reviewed full spectrum LEDs.
Training:I FIM'd the apical top leaves after the 3rd node and when the stems seemed solid to encourage branching.
Environment: 2 fans and a homemade swamp cooler to keep temperatures and humidity in range. I keep the space open.
ABOUT Gorilla Glue #4
"Gorilla Glue #4, developed by GG Strains, is a potent hybrid strain that delivers heavy-handed euphoria and relaxation, leaving you feeling “glued” to the couch. Its chunky, resin-covered buds fill the room with pungent earthy and sour aromas inherited from its parent strains, Chem’s Sister, Sour Dubb, and Chocolate Diesel. Taking first place in both the Michigan and Los Angeles 2014 Cannabis Cups as well as the High Times Jamaican World Cup, this multiple award-winning hybrid's supremacy is no longer a secret, and consumers will search far and wide to get their hands sticky with Gorilla Glue #4.
Grow Techniques: Gorilla Glue #4 will do wonders with a SCROG (screen of green) style grow as the plants will be fast to fill your garden space, especially if grown hydroponically. Giving all the buds equal chance for full sunlight will guarantee the entire plant reaches its peak potential while supporting its beautiful colas. Because Gorilla Glue #4 came from a hermaphroditic plant, so be aware that pollen sacs can develop from this strain.
Flowering Time: 8-9 weeks
Yield: Moderate to high
Grow Difficulty: Moderate
Climate: Moderate climates between 68 and 85 degrees Fahrenheit. Keep humidity down while flowering to help against mold. Colder temperatures will also increase trichome production towards the end of flowering.
Indoor/Outdoor: Gorilla Glue #4 can be grown both indoors and outdoors successfully. Trichomes are naturally water repellant, so this crystallized strain always has a raincoat on while flowering.
Feeding: Try using potassium silicate-rich foods that will help strengthen the plant as these buds develop."

@Tistou, I have ADSL where I live so I try to update when I’m at my boyfriend’s place where he has upload bandwidth! I find video gives a much better sense of the scale and health of the plants.
