First grow diary of a cottonnmouthed Lee

Leeoto Start from scratch. 24/08 Got 5 feminised Amnesiac seeds from Spliff Seeds. 25/08 Did some yoga while smoking mad blunts while saving the Universe from the evil Lord Zaltar. YES, offcourse, I had Wu-Tang blasting in the back. 26/08 I started the germination. I didn't use any fancy equipment, just plain ol'paper towels. Keep 'em moist aha and in total darkness. ( 5 x ) 27/08 Germination : the shells are starting to open and show the first little root. ( 5 x ) Around 48 hours after germination set in they were ready for some coco! No not the kind that Al Pacino loved so truly in the movie bestseller Scarface, just simple unfertilised cocostablets. 28/08 Planted them into a cocotablet. ( 5 x ) 29/09 They threw off their shell. ( 5 x ) 30/08 They were poppin'them roots. ( 5 x ) Potted them into airo pot 1 liter. ( 5 x ) 31/08 The growing begins..... The first week went by in a heartbeat. They sprouted all five and are now evolving equaly and pretty fast. They are looking good and doing good, so my mood is good too. I'm not giving nutrients yet. The soil they got planted in has got a low grade of nutrients. I used the proffesional Canna soil ( not the Guano kind ). Leeoto 03/09 Nothing special, the little ladies are enjoying their little habitat. 04/09 Day by day you see them grow bigger and stronger 05/09 I love escaping to my favorite spot in the house, everyday 06/09 Top op the mornin' to ya... no it's not toppin time yet! 07/09 Grow Grow Grow your room silently in the street, and dont forget to bloom it fast, because the law, you don't want to meet... I'm sorry this is why I should stick to growing and not creative song writing, still no silly or goofy bussiness, not one of these two previously mentioned, ok its time for me to wrap this up before I start singing again. 08/09 I've been reading about people using root stimulators and grow enhancers at this stage, but I'm thinking, why should I when they are doing just fine... 09/09 Here I am for part 2 of week 2, everything is going nice and swell, still no nutrients added, adjusted the fan a bit because 1 of the plants was getting a bit of a hard time and I don't want to give her the ''big house'' experience, Allready went to get the bigger 10 liter pots, I could ramble on but basicly I don't have very much to say, the temperature has dropped a bit because it looks like summer is over and I dont want to turn on central heating, the humidity is slowly reduced to about 65% , I gave 0,20 liter water the first time they were in the 1 liter pot, I water them every two days and just before the light goes out I spray them wet with tap water. I just love to look at them growing day by day, wondering what they will turn out like. Have a nice day full of spliffs, dabs, sunshine. Leeoto 10/09 Got the bigger pots and everything ready for the repotting, got 9 mm wooden round bars to try out low stress training, I got different kinds of rope and straps to bind the branches down to make em grow outwards. I never did this before so I'm excited to see if it becomes the beauty that I have in mind. To see what materials are the easiest to use,.. I will use low stress training in combination with defoliation and I will top them, I've seen some crazy videos about crazy plants and believe me, I dream big. 11/09 REPOTTING TIME, I fill up the pot to about the h(e)ight where i want the old soil to meet the new soil, at this point I put a water bottle in the pot, and i fill it up, take the bottle out and that's that. I like to make preparations so I can do the repotting itsself fast, The ladies will have plenty of stress and I want to keep this to a minimum offcourse, so I have all pots ready to go, Because I did this I could see there was actually not plenty of soil, I had 50 liters of Canna soil, and 5x 10 liter air pots so it should be enough?I emptied out the pots, put clay pallets at the bottom and filled them up again Yeah so later on I would have been happy with how it was because I find that the soil and the wooden bars touch at some places, and I wouldn't want mold or to have to use products to fix something, don't fix it when you can prevent it, I have two options, replace them with metal bars or take a bit soil out, I did the last. I'm not proud to admit it but I made some dumb mistakes on this first try, I should have taken in considderation that I had allready drilled the holes for the wooden bars, and most of the plants didnt really lign up nicely, dumb rookie mistake, but a learning experience non the less. Also I would have prefered that I kept the soil in the pots the first time and would have finished on top with the clay pallets because they keep the top soil from drying out too fast so yeah. But I'm in it and comitted 12/09 The dream team will need some days to recover 13/09 Have to go away for a weekend, I wished I could take ém with me. Considdering to install a camera to connect to my smartphone just so I can keep an eye at all times, but lets not get ahead of myself. 14/09 Sunshine 15/09 & Lollypops 16/09 They look well recovered and damn, they have been busy. The end of week 3, it was a nice and quiet week, still nothing goofy, just letting nature run its course. No nutrients added. Not to much watering, It's humid without the humidifier so don't need to do much about that. Still spraying them untill they are soaking wet just before the light goes out, I will continue to do so during vegetation.

Leeoto 17-09 18-09 19-09 First nutrients added 20-09 Dry day ( no water added ) 21-09 Water day ( only water added ) 22-09 Dry day ( no water added ) 23-09 Second time nutrients added ( with water ) If I have nothing special to add I am going to leave the dates blank Each four days they get a lilttle bit of nutrients, 1 day with nutrients, 1 dry day, 1 day pure water, 1 dry day, and I just keep on repeating. Still watering every 2 days because the cfl lighting doesn't create a lot of heat. I am going to buy a Metal Halide lamp 600 watt for the next run, now I need to make do with what I have. I have the feeling the cfl is a good lamp in the beginning, ( first 2 weeks ) but I find that it isn't going as fast as I want them to. This is why I am going to go with the Metal Halide after 2 weeks on the next run. Still I am hopefull everything will turn out great.
