Transferred seedlings to flower tent, which has 300W COBs. Gorrilla glue #1 transplanted into 25L fabric shopping bag and GG#2 transplanted into 10L fabric pot.
Starting to get super bushy. Started having some trouble with electricity going on and off this week, luckily hasn't affected the plants too much. Upped the feeding quite a bit this week, because I'm expecting flowers to start shooting soon
Still no signs of flowers yet, plants growing rapidly getting super bushy with quite a bit of LST. More electricity problems this week, but still hasnt seemed to slow the plants down at all.
Finally started showing signs of flower around the middle of week six, plants starting to get that explosive pre flower growth and staring to stretch into the light. I also turned my COB system up to about 60% of the max 300W it can go.
Getting really wide and bushy, not getting very tall because I'm training it every other day. Feeding every two days with a flush after every 2nd feeding. Turned my lights up to about 75% at the end of this week.
Plants seem to have stopped stretching and pumping everything into bud production. Starting to get some really nice stacked buds and loads and loads of bud sites, super impressed by how bushy this strain has become. Did some final defoliation and training at the end of this week and turned my lights up to 100%.
Starting to get some really nice sweet scents off the plants. The plant in the 25L pot is giving off some really nice coffee smells. Started really pumping the nutes this week to try get those flowers to get fat.
Buds are starting to get really really fat, I had to do a bit of defoliation and a bit more bending this week as I found a couple spots I missed and a few more branches I could bend.
These plants are absolute beasts! I started a ten day flush towards the end of this week and used FloraKleen for the first two flushes, can't say it makes a huge difference to just straight water though. Buds are starting to swell up nicely and really starting to stink! Both plants have similar growth forms, but it seems the plant in the 10L pot has selected for growing bigger fatter nugs, whereas the plant in the 25L has really been pushing out the resin and frosting up.
I let the plant in the 25L bag go for a few extra days and ended up putting it through a couple of days of dark and drought to really try getting the resin production up, and seems like it worked. Plants are coated in trichomes and have a really amazing sweet smell.
Plant in the 25L pot ended up yielding about 164 gram dry and took about an extra week to finish, while plant in the 10L pot yielded 180g, which I found pretty interesting. This strain is a beast and pretty easy to grow, likes to chow nutrients and loves calmag.
Nice smooth smoke that smells extremely sweet. Smells like a guava sweet. High is nice and clear and quite energetic, good for day time smoke. My next auto run FastBuds GG will definitely be in again
