Starting round two of my green crack grows. Trying some new soil, different lighting and watering techniques, plus I’m running this grow fully indoors. Hopefully we get some bigger plants this time.
Week one ended well and week 2 is going well so far. Now to just keep up the process. We have some great root growth and plenty of leaves. Keeping the soil damp but not too wet. I removed the humidity domes to let them breath and soak up the light
So I decided that since I have two plants going I’m going to top one and let the other go. I’m interested to see how they grow being done in two different styles but on the same time line. They have been pretty even in growing so far. Transplanted to new containers on 9/29/19. The plant I topped seems to already be already flowering. So I guess we will see where it goes.
Had an explosion of roots recently due to some good conditions and optimal soil. Had to transplant twice in a week because I didn’t expect that much growth that quickly. 10/4/19 plants are loving the new pots and are stretching hard.
Everything is going well. Both plants have now been trimmed for flowering and they are starting to get white hairs at the budding spots. They are under 18 hours of lights in their new tent set up. Looking forward to many great grows in this tent.
Growing nicely and developing some fantastic buds. They are small right now but we are heading in the right direction. Had some humidity issues when the weather changed up here but we are good to go now.
The buds are coming along nicely. I trimmed the bigger leaves to give the buds more light. My hands and scissors were definitely sticky at the end of that experience. These girls are really happy right now
In the past week the buds have bulked up a lot. Almost doubled in size. Everything is moving along smoothly and I’m excited to see what happens. I’m hoping they keep bulking up they way they have been. Should be about time to flush.
Potent smells of citrus and pine when hovering around the plants. Not a ton of smell in the tent since the led is so cool. I’m closing in on harvest and will start flushing next week. They are just starting to finish up. Started flushing 11/9/19. The trichomes are starting to change over and I think in a week or two we will be ready for harvest.
These plants are beautiful. Smell of orange and pine. I'm so excited for harvest. I am still giving them an ice bath for watering to help finish and flush them. I'm going to wait 1-2 more weeks before harvest to get maximum potency.
This was a really fun grow for me. It was one of my first independent indoor grows. First time using a grow tent instead of a room. First full led grow. I learned a lot and I am already starting other plants based on what I learned
