Doing well, should be harvesting in 4-5 weeks. Going to try and raise my light closer to the roof of the tent, it's quite close now...The buds closest to the light are showing stunted growth...Probably just going to get rid of the pulley system for now and hang it from the frame.
How long do I have to flush my organic garden? Last time I flushed it 4 weeks, but I was using dry amendments. Now I'm using a mix of organic dry amendments and liquid marine-based organic fertilizer. In week 3 of flower, last run they were ready at week 7. Day of last feed?π
U can flush from 3 days to 2 weeks. But I would not go over 2 or u will be starving your plant of the nutrients it needs to grow and power big buds. So when the plant is trying to put that weight on in the last couple weeks and you already flushed the nutrients out a week that's not good. Another pointer is most strains need at least 8 weeks of flower unless autos or fast versions. Make sure your using a scope to look at trics for all cloudy and almost all hairs have curled in.
End of my 7th week of flower with this indica-dominant Green Crack. Breeder says 7 to 8 weeks. Trichomes are mostly cloudy, although a few are still clear. 1 or 2 amber ones. I want an energetic high. Just posted a new pic of plants. Harvest in 3 days or wait 1 week?
Harvesting early will provide that more energetic effect, but it still comes down to plant genetics to have a big difference. Make sure you are looking at the trichomes on the calyxes and not the sugar leaves.. the ones on the sugar leaves go amber much faster. It looks like you still have more time to go because the pistils are still shooting straight up and they are still putting on weight. the wait at the end is the hardest part, be patient. Good luck and happy growing! π
@CannabisHerald, interesting, I didn't consider the dry amendments! Thanks for the feedback! And I hope your garlic concoction works, and if not, at least it's gonna smell good in your place!
This is my second round of Green Crack. Overall it's going well, despite a persistent spider mite problem. I've been spraying them with water and cayenne pepper, but will switch to water and garlic soon because I don't want cayenne on my buds.
I switched them about two weeks ago from my cheap Phlizon 600w to a KingPlus 2000w. Last grow I used the Phlizon for harvesting and got less than an ounce from two plants. Hope Kingled will come through for me...
My plants vegetated in 5 gallon pots, consisting of 2 thirds ProMix and 1 third marine compost. There's a few tablespoons of dolomite lime, some kelp meal and some bat guano.
For fertilizer during flowring I've been giving them Bigbudjuice.ca, an organic liquid fertilizer high in phosphorus and high enough in nitrogen, with a little bit of potassium. I think they may need more potassium. One more fertilizing to go before I start flushing.
Good job bro! I've read that flushing is typically done 1 to 2 week prior to harvest, why do you want to flush so early? Maybe try Phytoseiulus persimilis for your mites?
@kalilgibran, Yeah, so for the flushing, I decided to stop giving dry amendments now and just give them the liquid fertilizer until about two weeks before they are ready...

@kalilgibran, Thanks! I wanted to flush early to let the dry amendments time to dissolve...As for the predatory mites, persimilis, I tried them on my last grow, and although they did work, they have their drawbacks. You have to keep humidity over 60% for it to be optimal for them...I've found water and cayenne pepper to be just as effective and much cheaper...Now to see a how a garlic concoction will work...π
Awesome micro grow well
Done man your the better man then me I don't think I could
Do has well in a space that size wish you the very best give you a follow
@PatMcCrotch, Thanks, you too!π I'm planning on harvesting in 4-5 weeks, last time the ,same strain was ready at 7 weeks flowering but they were smaller...That's why I want to begin flushing soon, but I'm not sure when I should start...I'm using a mix of organic dry amendments and organic liquid fertilizer...When do you think I should give them the last liquid feed?
Ok, so going to give them a smaller feeding tomorrow...Ran out of Bigbudjuice.ca, new bottle arriving during weekend...They're getting thirstier...I've been watering every 7 days, but now it's only been four days since the last watering...Also going to spray them with my garlic concoction tomorrow...
