This is a reveg of a strawberry cough that i ran in my last grow from seed. Was running a pheno hunt 12/12 from seed so only got about 2oz from the plant. Out of 6 cuts, this one was my favorite. Threw her outside in late July to start the reversion into veg.
This pic is at 6 weeks from putting her outdoora to revert. There is another reveg in the pic, don't mind that one. Lol she is growing vigorously and starts getting trained and super-cropped.
Week 8 after re-veg. Nice and bushy, clones have been taken and moved to another grower. Best one was kept as a mother and i decided to push this one for a second round of flower.
Washed, sprayed for bugs, transplanted from the 1gal pot she had spent a whole harvest and reveg in into a 10gal smart pot that i folded down to 7.5gal. Got her moved into the tent and scrogged her out.
Week 2 in the tent. She has fully recovered from the transplant and is picking her growth rate up. Added fertilome root stimulator to her feeding schedule to get her rootzone developing out during the first week. Did the first round of pruning her up for flower by removing larf growth from any remaining old buds and non-competing branches to direct her growth to her upper nodes.
End of Week 1 of flower. Completed secondary pruning of lower nodes on competing branches to direct her energy to the tops. Removed any satellite branching from the competing branches that would not support good sized flowers. She is just starting to stretch.
Buds have set and She is at the end of her stretch. I have removed all the sucker branches and larf nodes. She is looking healthy and has a full canopy. Switched over to bloom cycle nutrients for her feed this week.
Day 28 plant and bud shots. Buds are filling nicely and starting to join up. Smell gets stronger every day. She has a potent sweet almost sugary smell this go around.
Just before the start of day 35. Had a small ph issue that needed correction and she didn't like the amount of water she got, so she faded on me a bit. PH issue is corrected though and i shouldn't lose more than a couple of days of development. Buds are right on track and will start to fatten up from here.
Day 42. Hairs are just starting to turn orange and the buds are getting fat. Trichs are still mostly clear but she is a stinky one. Bring on the swell!!
End of week 7(day 50 to be exact). Her buds are starting to put on lots of mass. At this point only the buds in the center of the scrog are still upright on their own. I backed down on my light intensity a bit (on day 46) as she started to foxtail on me a little. Was running about 1600par in the convergence area between the two lights and about 900 on the edges. Backed the lights down to about 550(center) and 375(edges). She has been liking it and has stopped yellowing. She will be on this light intensity for the last couple of weeks. Trichomes are still mostly clear with a few cloudy/amber, so she will definitely be going the full 10 weeks. I backed down to half strengrh on her feed and added a good dose of epsome salt to give her a mag/sulfur boost ti promote ripening.
She smells amazing. Earthy dank with a strong overtone of fruit. This pheno will be a breed mother for me in a couple of runs. The best clone is going to a homie's place to be kept in veg. He wants to run her too so we will take cuttings for cycles at his place and i will later when im ready to cross her.
End of week 8 day 56. Buds are starting to fatten up. Trichomes are just starting to cloud up as well. A few ambers in the older growth, but not significant yet. I am going to push another week for the flush as she still has a good crop of white pistils that i want to mature a little further.
Day 63. Started the flush on day 60. She is too fat for the trellis to hold her buds upright. Trichomes are cloudy with about 5% Amber over the inspected areas. She will finish out nicely and come down right on time at 70 days.
Harvest day!!! Got her chopped and hung last night right on time at day 70. Her buds turned out nice and dense, smell amazing and heavy af. This was a wonderful grow! Managed to pull a good few seeds from the branch i pollenated with zkittles pollen (red tie in vid). There are more still in the bud too! I am looking forward to popping them down the line.
I will update the harvest week with the hard numbers when she is dry.
Happy growing all!!!
This pheno was a dream to grow. She was healthy all the way through 10 weeks. Judging by weight, i think she may still go another 1-2 weeks to get that last push. Next time i run her i will give her a heavy nitrogen feed just before flowering so she will stay green more into weeks 7-8 before she starts her fade. One more run and i should have her dialed in nicely. She has one hell of a nose on her. Fruity/floral and sharp.
Nice diary! You've got your shit squared away if you are revegging, cloning and flowering a plant you already harvested...can you get a third harvest? Can be the founder of the reveg challenge.
