So here we go again. Trying out a classic northern lights. Going for the same set up as the last grow, with a bit more care on lighting and temperatures. Will stick with the generic fertiliser I used last time, but might try some molasses in a few months.

Been really busy so not paying her as much attention as I did the last girl. But she seems to be going fine, nothing to really note as its so early. I'll look at getting some feed mixed up and seeing how she takes it. Don't know how one of the leaves has been ripped a bit, haven't even moved the pot, strange. But nothing concerning.

Been really busy so not much time to check in on her at the moment, hope I'm giving her enough love, but she seems to be doing well. The nodes are really close, don't know if thats due to a small pot or close lights but theres little stretching which is good for the lack of space I have, hopefully she goes nice and compact! Once again I get massively lost with days and weeks, so picture updates come as and when I remember 😂

Looks like she's started to sprout her hairs and i noticed that the 'fresh' smell had started, nothing too noticeable at the moment so will hold off the carbon filters for now. Ive noticed some clawing on the leaves, I find it very difficult to believe that i have given her too much nitrogen, but can only find evidence to suggest it is that. I'll just give her water for the next few days in hope that helps. Also the leaves feel quite soft, so wondering if i am over watering swell which could explain the nitrogen overkill. Having done some quick LST, seem to have 7-8 bud sites that should turn into something good. She's very squat and dense so suspect these will go straight up instead of keeping them long like i did for the blue mystic before her. Been a bit of a wet week, hoping the humidity doesn't get too much. Im going away for a week so will have to see how she gets on on her own... People have been asking about the filter construction, its simply a sets of fans in the cab back>half a container cut and stuck to the back wall with the clipping lip left>container lid with middle cut out and mesh fixed to it (space for carbon)>lid with holes and fans. This is the second version upgraded from a smaller design for my previous grow. Don't need it yet but the other worked well so this should be even better!

Went away for a week and was pleased to find she kept herself happy for the time. I think the air pot did some good A few yellowing leaves but I don’t think it’s anything to worry about. Hairs are developing well but as the nodes are so close it’s hard to train her as well as the previous one. Still practically no smell, very impressed, however she is small and dense so not that surprising. Still finding it quite amazing how close all the nodes are.

Started to smell now, which is nice, still relatively low though. Central bud sites are still so close, so its going to end up being one sticky mess in the middle when it comes to chop! Bit concerned by the colour of some of the leaves, as nice as purple leaves look, they don't shout healthy plant at me...

Still going, not much to say other than I seem to be fighting another leaf colour battle where I have no idea what I'm doing. I know flowering is obviously demanding in terms of nutrients etc but I've seen plants being given just water and looking better than this. Leaves at lower levels still look nice and green so hopefully she can still get what se needs and pump out some fatness to her buds over the next coming weeks.

Second grow, second leaf issues. A quick google leads me to believe its phosphorous deficiency, that may be being made worse as its getting colder? Is it terminal or will she survive?

Hello my friend 😉 Do not listen to all the nonsense of Mrs larimar because it is totally useless to give a new start to your plant because it is an autoflowering that is almost 10 weeks old and it is almost ready to be harvested. I advise you to proceed to a good rinse which will allow you to clean up your substrate and remove the nutrient exeedant and have a product with a better taste quality. 👍 May the strength be with you 💪

I feel like I'm in damage limitation mode now. If she was meant to have dark leaves and burnt tips, then I've done a great job, alas she's not meant to and just looks awful. I've dropped the Tomato feed and just giving her tap water, no idea what PH it is-I'm sure its probably not ideal either! On the up side, she's smelling great, quite strong for what I thought was supposedly a low odour strain and pistils are still coming out nicely, aside form the leaf colour she seems to be ok...will be an interesting result.

After the neglect I've caused, looking at her trichomes under a little magnifier, they look ok. Not as dusty as I would have hoped, but thats my fault. Just sticking to water now and I'm starting to wonder if she managed to somehow get too cold during the night, preventing an uptake of phosphorous? Looking at the trichomes, they're looking pretty cloudy to me, so wondering if she may be ready for a few days of darkness then chop.

Maybe little late but I always start flushing my ladies when they are full milky colored and 10% of amber colored trichomes. Mostly I flush them a week and the last 2 days I put them in to darkness. Good luck 🍀👍🏽

I undoubtedly made this more difficult than it needed to be. However despite the neglect the small amount of buds I have managed to get from her smell delicious and are covered in trichomes. I will be interested to see what the smoke it like once its all been cured well.
