I wish I had known to start this at week 1 but this NYC has been through a lot.
Pop date is July 6, 2019 making her a very long living auto. Only about 5% amber means we have a while yet.
This strain tends to need a little cal/mag boost during veg just b4 flower. I also find that if I give a little Epsom salt during a non nute feeding while in preflower it helps keep her from yellowing.
I haven't smoked her yet because I'm just drying now but her mom seed (from who's plant I found this gem of a blessing) produced the best flavor profile I've ever grown and one of the best on the shelf.
A strong citrus flavor followed by a powerful diesel aroma that we have all grown to love.
I didn't notice it in the first one but this plant also offers a skunk after note that is currently stinking up my bedroom (gotta keep those we love close).
The buzz makes this strain a 10!!
I've always been an old school indica type of girl but this is the first sativa heavy hybrid that really gets me....
I can justl tell by the resin that this plant will be more potent but from previous experience I know that it should be.
I have a high tolerance and usually want to be hit hard enough to be knocked down. This is the exception to my general rule. It gives you a great head high, keeps you laughing and talking, doesn't make me real hungry, and best of all I can medicate in the morning and not feel like am idiot or tired by lunch.
This is the real deal!!
I recommend to people who struggle with social anxiety and who shy away from herb due to the paranoia induced depression.
Really anyone with depression, anxiety or PTSD could benefit from this strain.
Also good for fatigue but I wouldn't recommend consuming too close to bed time as it does lift me up quite a bit.
If you haven't tried it you should and dont let any of the other diesel strains affect your decision not to try this one because it's terpene profile is nothing like any other diesel I've tried and her genetics give her a slightly different feel.
This plant comes from a seed we obtained free from GYO seeds when we purchased our gorilla glue seeds. Her seed momma was an amazing smoke and had the best terpene flavor profile I've ever experienced from one of my own to date. This means that when we found 3 seeds amongst her flowers we felt blessed.
She popped on July 6th only 1 day after her ugly older sister. Her sister has fought cal/mag issues since she was a seedling and yet shes still hanging on with small thrich covered flowers that are also waiting for finish.
This girl was put into a 10 gallon pot for experimental purposes and we learned a lot!! She loved the big pot and all of her dirt. A beautiful root system is not always the case in plastic pots but she had one.
She has a very uniformed stature and looks like every bud is close in size to his neighbor.
I cant wait to test her but if she's anything like her momma seed she'll be the absolute best morning medicine in my cabinet (NYC breakfast, OG lunch, Gorilla Glue with dinner and anything else all day long )
So this is it, my first completed diary. She's not much but I'm learning.
P.S. any questions about nutes etc I'll answer but its basically fox farms and tiger bloom on this one with a taste of salt water when she's in veg.
