I had a spare bean of these so I put it in the garden during the winter, it didn't do much just one straw thin stem and 3 grams of bud, but I can see she'd gonna be a cutie. I decided to put two in a pot because I treat it as a single plant. As usually I don't know what to expect but she appears to be quite vigorous to begin which is usual for Dutch Passion.
I've started them off in my new method which is dry beans (no soaking first) directly into an eazy plug what has been readied. They usually pop in 4 days which these did.
well done with the freaky resin globules which sometimes happen. Indeed, some of the phenotypes on this variety are ready from day 60 onwards....Nicely grown
@DutchPassion_Official, thanks, it's taken me a while but I have a new blackberry that I'm looking forward to growing now that I'm familiar with this strain.
I am impressed! Did u top these or just LST? My two thoughts on this strain- don’t over defoliate as they have a low leaf to bud ratio. Otherwise, it’s a really great strain to grow. I’m just about to harvest my BBK’s and they have done amazingly well. Decent sized plants, big chunky buds and really easy to grow. Good luck with yours! 😻
@Momgrowsthechronic, yes I see now now easy these are I'm only taking off the old dying leaves now. If this one tastes nice, it could become a permanent fixture.
@Momgrowsthechronic, cheers. Stronger one topped at third node, smaller one also topped at third node but had some extra branches removed. I basically treat it as a single plant.
