Transplanted to 5.7L air pot from a solo cup. Blended 3/4 root farm hydroponic soil with 1/4 vermiculite. Did a straight water flush/soak on new soil before plants were transplanted into new pots.
Gonna transplant into final pot today 23L
Transplanted to 23L pot and did a water flush. Going to try some LST today and see how I make out as I am a 1st time grower. Still on the 18/6 light schedule. Gonna wait till around the 60 day of vegetation before I make the switch over. Anyone have any recommendations on making the switch.
The auto strawberry has started to flower the last few days. It has really taken off since repotting to the 23L pot. I was gonna do some low stress training but decided to just let it do it’s thing.
Does anyone change the time schedule to 12/12 for an auto. I am just asking cause I have an auto and growing with other plants in my grow tent and will be switching to 12/12 for them. Was just wondering if it will affect it at all.
This will hurt your yeild significantly autos should have 20 hrs of light to get maximum yields I would keep a 20-4 schedule till your autos is done then flip your photos the extra veg time will help any way u drop the light to 12/12 with that auto u wont be happy ✍️✍️✍️✍️✍️👍👍👍👍
Plant is looking really good. Buds are starting build some mass now. Gave a water flush and then a nutrient drink the last watering. Starting to smell dam good.
On the water flush for the last couple weeks before harvest. Some pistils are starting to turn orange. Had a close look at the trichomes and they are all crystal clear still. I am a first time grower so waiting for the orange pistils and the the trichomes to start to cloud up.
Has a very strong smell now. Pistils are over half orange now. Trichomes were still clear and glass like, should start to get cloudy here in the next few days. Getting close to the drying/ curing stages. I am still on the water flush till finish now.
What’s the best dry cure method. I am a new grower and was gonna hang dry until stem snap and then cure in jars using the burping method with humidity packs. Any help would be nice
Best is to use your grow room.
- Keep RH around 55%
- Full dark; light degrades the overall THC quantity and quality during the drying process and can change the cannabinoid composition of your buds
- Room temp between 60-75°F / 15-24°C
- Maintain a flow of fresh air from a fan
- Let it sit for 2-3 weeks
