So week 1 officially starts now..Girl sprouted from its solo cup today and will remain there for several weeks until transplanted in her 10 gallon home..First time growing this strain so experiance this strain with me
Been making some rookie mistakes this go around..Letting the temps get to low and obvious signs of being over watering..On a good note is I've corrected those issues and started them on the CX Horticulture line and hopefully transplant next week if they seem happy and ready
The girl was finally into her 10 gallon forever home and got her first topping as well..Im unsure if im going to LST this one or cage it..She will be growing beside 2 freebie autos from Mephisto that I will be starting a diary on soon as they just popped through the soil today
The training wheels are being installed for some major LST..I should state that this is a REG seed so I'm hoping for a female 🙏..So far I've topped the main branching only once and im waiting for a bit more growth to start topping the side branching..All in all the temps, humidity and nutrient response has been on point and this little plant is healthy..I may speed up my fan a bit to generate a little more stem movement and air flow
Some slight fan leave removal was done to achieve better air flow and light penetration to areas that were getting blocked..This plant has no safe word and will be taken to extremes to create my canopy..I train for stability without having to use cages or scrogs
This girl is coming along nicely..Im purposely not allowing much vertical growth as I'm trying to achieve a low profile canopy with multiple tops..Im also considering doing another topping just to make things interesting..I will install a cage for structure when that time comes but for now grow on my beauty..We had some rain the past few days that drove the RH up a little but nothing of any concern..I have sped up and moved the oscillating fan closer to help strengthen those stalk/stems up..All in all im happy so far 😁😉
Well this will officially be the last week of veg..This girl will get stripped and flipped tomorrow..Im uping the A and B to carry me through stretch..First level or caging has been added and will possibly install 2nd level tomorrow so I can tuck and spread during stretch..This girl is loving and responding well to everything I've thrown at her so far..Stay tuned because the fun has just begun
So it's official the first week of flower has ended and now the fun begins..I have installed a tomato cage for support as i don't know how this girl intends on stretching her legs..I did add bloom nutes this week according to CX Horticulture feeding chart..Looking to achieve my heaviest yield to date hence the 10g pot..Bigger the roots bigger the fruits right?..Stick around growmies and let's see how she unfolds 😁
This week resulted in some noticeable stretch and some more defoliating..This girl gets fed about 2.5 gallons a week which im sure will become more frequent as usual during flower..At 2.5 gallons I feed 10ml of all the nutrients listed above but i will cut out the veg growth enhancer next feeding..I like to utilize a lollipop method of removing all lower leaves, stems ect that will take away from major cola production..Lights are gradually being lowered to an optimal height that I'm unsure yet being my first time growing this specific strain..Hope you all are enjoying the diary
This girl is starting to settle in after seeing another 7.5" of stretch the past week..I did a little more leaf stripping this week and shouldn't have to bother her to much more going forward..Weather here has been acting funny being in the 30's and 40's at night and 70's during the day which can make the environment that much more complicated to maintain..All in all she looks lovely and another week in the books
So we are that point in the grow where the stretch has ended and she is ready to settle down and feed..Feedings are now coming a day sooner and I expect it to get a day shorter as she ramps up feeding to build her bulk..Nothing special in this grow expect for the hook up on nutrients from CX Horticulture..As for every Ethos strain I've grown so far it's never a let down..This girl got a little leggy during stretch but who doesn't like nice legs?..Outside of Genetics and nutrients what you see me use is budget friendly..I run cheap COB led lights off of Amazon as well as alot of vivosun products..Take it from me that quality can he achieved on a budget
This week we seen some temp and humidity spikes thanks to the mindless weather we have here. I also cut out the Regen-a-root from the regiment now that we are fully established in flower..I have raised my lights up to max height because I started noticing some slight bleaching to top colas and I'm glad I caught it early. From here on out we will be doing nothing but feeding, watching and waiting
Another week in the books and another week closer to finishing..This was the last feed using the A & B before removing it completely from the regiment..This beauty is stacking very well and my fingers stick together just doing routine checks..I'm highly impressed with CX Horticulture nutrients although I'm not really a synthetic grower..The extreme training and longer veg time has and will pay off well in the end for this..Once this grow is chopped, trimmed and jarred I'll be doing another Ehtos Genetics 10 gallon grow
We are closing in on the finish line for the beautiful girl. I have lowered my temps to 63° nights and 73° days. I've cut out the base nutrients and will continue on with the Head Masta and Bloom Enhancer to gain whatever she has left to give. She has a very distinct and independent Strawberry terpene profile and is quite sticky. If you've been following along you'll know that this is my first 10 gallon pot grow as I usually stay 7 or smaller. As yield will be larger so will the my sentence to trim jail when she is finished 🤕. As always thanks for stopping in and be sure to leave a comment and let me know what you think 😁
Week 8 of flower on this sativa dominant strain and I'm mostly cloudy on my trichomes with some clear so another week or two should get me where I want to be.This girl is feeding super heavy in the last few weeks and the buds are swelling and filling out nicely.Temps and humidity will remain low until harvest.I did make the mistake of light bleaching the buds early and that's totally on my for not paying attention like I should.
Week 9 of flower and I cant wait to harvest this beauty. Normally i would be flushing at this time but CX Horticulture recommends to use the Mighty Bloom and Head Masta through flush so only time will tell. The terps on this beauty are very citrus and pine
What I can i say other than Ethos Genetics kicks ass. I love growing their gear and will continue for as long as I can. This girl here took very well to training and feeding increases. Her terpene profile early on was undeniably Strawberry but gradually took a citrus dominant turn with some notes of pine. She was a moderate strechter and produced nice full trichomes that I'm sure would give a great return if pressed. The buds themselves are extremely sticky, pungent and dense. I used CX Horticulture and did what most dont do and used the recommended feeding chart 😲🙈🙊. I am glad to say she took it like a champ and for future grows of this strain I know I can up my ppm/EC next time. I yielded 6.25 ounces off of a 10 gallon pot and I know that's not impressive but it's my first time growing in a pot that big so many things learned. I will say after looking at the rootball I could have vegged for several more weeks but again knowledge is power and I've gained some 😉
