She is just starting out life. Have high hopes one day will be a monster, see how it goes. Not really changing much from my last 2 grows, other than a different strain. Always liked GG, will be interesting to see how it turns out when I am the grower lol. Starting the nutes really low as not sure how they will take, and will be hanging lights a little further away for the entire grow. So I guess a few changes after all. Thanks for reading, keep it realz.

Yo, 3rd week has begun. She is a lot smaller than previous plants at this stage. Last few days though noticing a little more life. A tad more spryness if you will. Read a couple conflicting things about gg#4, some say it takes nutes well, some say ya gotst to take it eazy. Will see how this week goes at 850 ppm. Keep it realz.
Week 4. She has started to flourish, growing quickly. Raised the lights a tad, ppm up a bit as well. Lowered water level some too, roots are going crazy. Think I will continue vegging at least one more week, maybe more as she was a slow starter. Believe my lights were too close, stunting growth the first few weeks. One last note, she was topped today, hoping for a quick recovery then switch the lights.......keep it realz.

Yo to the yo! Time flies, every week seems to go quicker than the last. A bit overdue, but this will be her last vegging days this week. Switching lights soon. Had some older leaf issues, crispy, discolored so lopped them off halfway down the stem. Didn’t seem to cause any issues to date. A little concerned that most of the old growth is now gone, but better than wasting energy trying to keep them in my opinion. I don’t think the gg#4 is easy going with nutrients. Have read that this strain is fussy and to be careful upping the ppm, go slowly.......... aiming for 1300 when flowers start to appear. See how she responds I guess, next week we will get to 1100, go from there. Keep it realz.

Yo to the yo! Switched the lights and will be changing nute regime soon. Been tying her down as she starts to stretch/grow, spreading out a bit now. Looks like she is fairly healthy and getting what she needs from the GP mix. Roots appear to be in good shape, will be adding a snifter of voodoo juice in the next couple of days. Pretty sure the voodoo puts good juju in the root zone, with the bigger bucket allowing more root growth. Always cool when you can get to the root of the matter.........sorry, had to... Anyways, looking forward to bud sites showing up the flowering stage. Will be trimming a little bit daily from the bottom for the next week, or until she’s tidy. Keep it realz.

Yo to the yo. Starting to see pistils poking out a few places so that's cool. She has taken longer to show signs of flowering than other strains. Noticed ph dropping, not concerned but topped off with plain water with a little higher ppm. Looking healthy and if stretches any more tent almost be too small. Hoping for lots of buds, have managed to spread her out fairly well. We shall see in the coming weeks. Going to be getting a water chiller for my buckets. Tedious work of temp control finally getting to me...... if anyone has any suggestions please let me know. Thanks and keep it realz.

Yo to the yo. Bud sites gaining territory as we speak. She really had a fun stretch/party phase, had to feverishly keep tying down. Thought I may have let it veg too long and outgrow the tent, but think we good. Still figure enough headroom for lights, will be close. May end up going to a short, wide bucket in the future, to conserve some more height. Water intake has definitely increased in the last week or so, watching stats as want to ensure she has a full tummy. Hope I’m not dealing with a finicky girl, and we can just roll with punches for the next 6-8 weeks. I still can’t bring myself to completely shed all foliage below the light zone. Even though I’ve seen great results in doing so. Each grow I get a little braver, so will see how it goes. Thanks for reading, keep it realz out there.

Yo yo! She's too tall I think, going to figure out something to shorten. Don't have too much room to go wider but we will see. Lesson learned in strain and stretch I guess. Other than that she looks good, drinking lots and buds slowly coming along. She likes to party, which I do as well so good deal. Keep it realz.

Yo yo! Another week has passed, and all is well. Managed to bend a few more tops down as space is tight. Hoping the led lights are the reason she still ok as they are within a foot. Really close. Other than that everything seems pretty stable. Fresh air from outside now being used for the air stone, noticing solution temp staying in the 66-68 F range without any assistance, yay. Ph seems to be a little more gradual with its minor swings, suppose from stable Rez temps. Roots are tinted a bit from nutes, and going crazy still, not sure if they ever stop growing. Other than my misjudgment of veg time, this GG#4 Canuck has impressed me. Quite bushy and buds starting to fill out in some areas, don’t think I will see the same size as my previous Indicas, but we shall see. Lots of weeks left by my account, 2nd-3rd week of the new year is my guess......place your bets lol. Thanks for reading along, trying to improve pics as I go. Keep it realz out there.

Yo yo! Another week in the bucket.......... she starting to put some holiday weight on it seems. Saw a few orange pistil hairs, so that’s cool. Noticing some faint brown spots on a lot of leaves. Wonder if it’s a cal/mag issue, or poor air quality in tent. Going to add a dash of Epsom salts to see if that will help with uptake. Haven’t done anything too different this time around though so will try one thing at a time and see. Or maybe just say f it, sneak through the last few weeks as is, leave the mix alone. Been good so far in my opinion. Anyways, still digging the stabilized Rez temps and think I have some fine tuning to do with nutes. Thanks for checking her out, keep it realz out there!

Yo yo. Leaves having some issues still, has not really gotten worse per say. Edges looking weird a bit now. Checked out some trichomes, mostly half cloudy from what I can tell. Couple more weeks at least, maybe more. Like to see the ambers so I get that knock out punch in the evening. She looks a little bushy and commando-ish, but that’s just my way of saying do your thing lol. Can’t bring myself to defoliate much, only one plant at a time so will experiment more when growing more than one. Leary I’ll hurt the darn thing, or go too far. I tried to even up my sideburns once........ so will leave that alone until I have a few more under my tent. Anyways, thanks for checking her out and any ideas what the leaves are telling me, let me know. Thanks and keep it realz!

Yo yo! Week #8 is upon her. Gaining some weight, and just whipped up a fresh nute bath for her. Be the last full strength I do, will be just topping off with ph’d water for the next week. See where things are at and go from there, in no rush to bring down but we are in the 8-9 weeks. Seeing more amber trichs on leaves, not so much on buds yet. She’s been dropping a few of the old leaves after sucking the life out of them, so not sure if that’s good I left them, or under feeding causing her to eat. Not many, but a few. Last couple of weeks noticed she must really like 1100 ppm, at around 6 ph. It floats up and down a smidge, but with stable rez temps of 68f seems to stay in a good spot. Hoping the home stretch goes smoothly, thanks for checking in and keep it realz out there!

Just took her down. Still hanging, overall a decent grow in my opinion. Smells wonderful and fruity in the drying tent. Looks pretty good, shiny buds that are fairly dense. We shall see in a few days after drying, trimming. 5 star as of now, because she still drying......
All dried and sitting in jars for the next couple o weeks. Was very easy to trim, high calyx to leaf ratio ( just read up on that topic, so figured I would use some buzz words lol) snips got gummed up real quick as expected. Didn’t know I couldn’t change the strain rating after an hour, but would have given 8 stars. Not cured yet, so taste will be off a bit but got some nice dense sticky icky buds, burns well, not harsh and looks amazing. Getting more of a citrus pine type smell from the jars, the fruity smells have waned a bit. It’s still pretty early after drying though. Quite happy with just under 4 oz, from this girl. Looking forward to some cure time, but the buzz was very nice, started off feeling gitty, then faded to my couch for some relaxing. Had a great nap. Think I’m going to like the GG#4.
Yo yo! Will be posting a thorough, final report on this girl soon. Long story short, didn’t do her justice and for sure didn’t get her all. Space got a little tight, and she grew too high. I should have helped her out more early on, but I can get into that later. Looks amazing, and the dry tent is smelling delicious and fruity early on. Impressed with the growth rate, frostiness, and Can’t wait to try some out!
Yo yo! Adding on to this previous post. All dried up and curing in jars now. Looks very tasty, lots of crystally goodness. Managed to get some good looking buds, as well as some good looking popcorn haha. All in all I am pleased with the outcome, more lessons learned and better for it. She was a late bloomer, in tight quarters but GG#4 pushed through and made a go of it. Thanks for checking it out, will get some more pics up soon. Keep it realz out there!
