This week was a time where we got acquainted with our ladies. They sprouted out of the solo cups in week 1 and now they are starting to spread out. They aren't drinking much yet, but we are just trying to keep the soil damp to make sure the roots dont dry out. Not the most ideal because they were surrounded by a bunch of other plants, but they grew out nicely and started to form the first pair of serrated leaves at the beginning of week 2 and by the end, we were working on a first pair of true leaves.
Week 3 now and we are rockin. Lots of quality growth in these gals and they are really reaching for the light. The leaves are nice and green and they look very happy. Not much to do but watch them grow.
Week 4 and we are really starting to see the nodes stack. These gals are at the 4th node and have out grown the solo cups they have been living in for the last 4 weeks. I will transplant at the beginning of week 5 and they should take off. They are still being crowded by all the other plants, so we are going to move them so they have a bit more room to spread their wings!
