Finally, i can start to grow again!
Got the room up again, made quite a few changes in the way i build it and it looks much nicer now, so i'm happy with it.
Zamnesia was so generous to send me these seeds, so i'll try my best!
5 x Bruce Banner 3, Feminised
2 x autocobs 3500K
1x Mars Hydro 300watt
1 x old spectrabox with some burned diodes.
Started the seeds in a cup of water, checked 24hours later and all seeds popped open.
Put them between towelpaper, and again a day later a white taproot.
After that i filled some seed starter bags with soil for germinating seeds.
And now i'll wait.
Oh the purple light is a cheap spotlight from alieexpress, so when they brake through the soil, they can absorb a bit of light straight away.
if you thought ; 5 x Zamnesia - bruce banner, but i see 8 seedbags?
Yup, correct! There are also 3 x Seedstockers - Blackberry Gum Autoflower seeds in the dirt.
*update 16 october*
all seeds popped, but 1 bruce banner did not make it.
i repotted them, and because they were stretching a bit i planted them deeper in the soil.
I repotted the Zamnesia - Bruce Banners in 18Liter fabric pots with Mills Lightmix soil.
1 did not survive, but on the other side ; more space for the others.
The Seedstockers - Blackberrygum Autoflowers are in 11L plastic pots.
Right now there is only 1 - 3500K autocob that provides the light for all.
In the next few weeks the other lights will go on, step by step.
This week i "seperated" the 3 x Seedstockers - BlackberryGum Autoflowers in the small pots from the photoperiodic feminised 4 x Zamnesia - Bruce Banner 3 plants in the 18L (5 gallons).
And i fired up the second autocob, so the 3 autoflowers enjoy the 3500K for them, just as the bruce banners enjoy theirs.
I can't see very big differences in how the photoperiods are growing compared to the autos yet, but time will tell.
until today i only sprayed the leafs with water, but will give them a couple drops near the stalk once in 2 days to check how they respond to that.
im also going to fill the pots some more with a nutrient rich soil.
so basicly its like a top dressing.
oh, i forgot to take pictures from the autoflowers, will update again next weekend.
Didn't do as much as i planned on doing this week.
I only handwatered them, and just let them grow.
Oh wait - i did add a fan for some air circulation because the stems where quite thin
I forgot to update my diary.
this week i just let them grow, watered them.
they get some thicker stems, and they are getting wider now.
i think the overall growing is going pretty good
They grew a lot this week!
got bigger leafs and the stems got thicker again.
i can now also clearly see the difference between the 3 x Seedstockers - Blackberry Gum autoflowers & the 4 x Zamnesia - Bruce banner photoperiods.
it looks like the autos are slowly but surely transitioning in to the preflowering phase
The ladys are doing well!
i gave them their first nutrients, some megacrop.
because i thought it was the right time.
and i raised the 2 autocobs 20/25cm
as you can see on the last picture, the Seedstockers - Blackberrygum Autoflowers are in their blooming phase now.
and they can absorb 18h of light for the next couple of weeks, because we let the bruce banners veg some more!
Since this week i flipped the 4 Zamnesia - Bruce Banner's into their blooming phase.
So they get 12hours of light from now on.
having a bit of trouble, i couldn't give them as much attention as i normally do due to work and other things.
the leaves started to turn yellow, and i know why.
I ordered PH-minus, to get them back to full health.
From the 3 Seedstockers - blackberry gum, 1 is thriving, and i am seeing buds with lots of bloomhairs. the other 2 are much smaller, and slower somehow.
start to see some tiny flowers, and they are stretching again.
my ph minus came in, and gave them ph'ed 6.5 water.
hope things will go better from now on.
Ph minus came in, so i ph'ed the water to 6.0.
and watered them a couple times without nutrients.
i think they like it, but i cannot tell it completely sure yet!
Did not update my diary because they hermed, and altough i read that its a common thing on bruce banner strains from multiple breeders, i think its my own fault.
it started after i got my ph meter, before that i allready had change in colour, yellowing leaves and they werent looking really healthy. the ph swing was too much at once i think. my tapwater is between 8 / 8.5.. and i ph'd at 5.8 / 6.0.
At first i saw nanners / balls.. so i killed all except 1. the biggest one. after that i cleaned the whole growroom, and spend like 2hours everyday to check for male parts on my lady.
So.. 40 grams dried bud. the taste is awesome. fresh, sparkling on the tongue.
