1st day of germination 12 hour soak in paper towel in ziplock bag on heating pad.
Next update. All have sprouted and growing good closing in on the end of week one.
Running a test strain for @double.g.genetics
Had 100% germination on the 7 beans I had to run , 3 of the 7 died shortly after breaking the ground . " I do not fault the genetics on that it may very well have been my soils to hot for seedlings. 1 died after a week it stayed extremely small and never got more than 1/2 inch tall and extremely small leaves. " once again could be the soil " . Now that being said 3 of the 7 have grown very well and seem to be loving the soil. IMO it may have been that some of the seeds were very small to start everything off. " NOT " in any way saying the genetics are bad because at this point I have not had any go to finish. @double.g.genetics giving an honest and open test if you feel anything needs to be edited then dm me and we can talk and if you have a valid point then things can be adjusted. But as I stand now it's still a valid strain and eager to grow to finish the remaining 3.
Picked up a new light sponsor for this grow it's a Sunrise 1000watt led. Seems to be good quality and has works flawless sense it arrived only complaint I have with it is its 90 degree lenses it restricts the spread of the light imo. Other than that I'm happy with it so far. The DGKush is doing alot better started growing much more. Alittle on the skinny side but other than that very healthy.
These test strains of DGKush by double g genetics have bounced back and are now growing great under their sunrise 1000d led 1000e watts . Cant wait to see how they do from here on out. Will be placing them under 12/12 light schedule to sex them starting today.
Really turned around in the last couple weeks and I'm happy with the growth in the last weeks. Just proves never to give up on a slow start. Put into the flower tent to sex them I would have sooner but didnt want to upset them any more than they already were. Cant wait to see what I end up having female.
All 4 were males and were chopped down :(. Talked with the breeder and found out he released these seeds to me early to see what needed to be done before mass release. More work has been done and longer seed drying time. Hope to be able to rerun this strain I had very high Hope's for it. Do not shy away from the strain based on this test run the new seeds are doing 100% better.
