First time that I bought seeds from Flash Seeds. Communication and shipping was prompt and friendly. Payment was practical and secure. There was no mail tracking but from the communications and reputation, I completely trust Stich @ Flash Seeds.
Again, I am not motivated to buy for mystery freebies. I want what I am willing to pay for. Dealing with Flash Seeds is straight forward and easy.
Good impression from the seeds. Muay Thai is a sativa but seeds were big. Germination was fast and was 100% on four seeds. Roots buds popped in the glass after one night soaking in water with hydrogen peroxide.
I never had much luck with sativa seeds. So, I kept the seeds in the cotton pads until the roots were a little longer. This took 48 hours. And roots were around 10 mm long.
Soil in the cup was 50% worm casting with 50% of my old soil mix. Total composition: 50% worm casting, 25% coconut husk, 15% pumice, and 10% of garden soil.
Then I got into trouble. Three seedlings damped off. And the survivor look week. I kick myself for using old soil instead of starting with sterilized peat moss.
The sole survivor recovered well. Leaves were crooked but stems are strong. Look like she survived a problematic start. My computer seedling case supports four plants with four watering heads. So all four heads were stuck into one cup. Minimum pump stetting for 10 second watering duration every 24 hours.
Light, she was under 50 W Cree LED at minimum power by the dimmer switch. Distance from light was 24 cm.
Roots were poking out at the bottom of the cup at the end of week 2.
There was no feeding, no additives.
Transplanted at the beginning of the week to 9 liter pot. I can appreciate why Stitch called his creation Muay Thai.
Muay Thai fighters kick and punch. The boxer legs are thick. In general, Muay Thai boxers are not big and biggest are in middle weight class. Muay Thai boxers smoke weed before they get into the ring so they can tolerate pain and keep the rhythm better. That’s why after usually bloody bout they can still smile at the camera.
Flash Seeds Muay Thai plants shows thick trunk. Seemed to be more stout than photoperiod Thai weed. She supposed to grow for four months to 3 meter / 9 ft tall.
At this point, I doubt that she’ll be that tall. So, I am holding off on topping and pinching. If she does get big, I’ll transplant and top her.
Feeding – no feeding.
Water with 1.5 ml/liter of trichosan root stimulant twice.
No training
Still vegging. And she drinks much faster than the other auto variety that is growing along side. Look like Muay Thai Super Auto does get big.
This week, there was hardly any vertical growth at all. On the other hand, she is getting bigger on the side. Lower branches are developing well on their own. The main stem is thick and stout. The internode distance on the top is tight. And I can’t find a place to pinch. Since she is becoming a mini bush. I don’t see a need to train her at this point.
She is not flowering yet, let see how long she will veg in 12/12 hours out door natural day light schedule.
Sprayed with anti mold / anti insect microbes. 5th day of the week.
Feeding, one more trichosan to stimulate root. 6th day of the week.
Feeding with yogurt 1 liter yogurt / 5 liter of water. Feed by soil drench abut 350 ml once on 7th day of the week.
Next week, I’ll be away for the entire week. I have a friend water the plant. That is all I can ask, so there will be no feeding. I hope they survive.
In Thailand, Muay Thai Super Auto is stout.
Tied some branches down last week and stretched her legs. She is spreading to a round mini bush.
Nicely flowering at the start of 5th weeks. Flowers develops fast.
Feeding with 0.3 gram of bloom nute once a the end of the week.
Transplanted from 9 liter pot to 25 liter basket. And there was no growth progress this week. Probably pausing to recover from transplant shock. Muay Thai Super Auto stayed at the same 40 cm height as last week.
From product description, Muay Thai life cycle is supposed to be at 16 weeks. And I have seed feed back on she taking so long to finishe. So, I was comfortable with the changing the container. On changing, there were actually bundle of long root circling the bottom. I am sure she can use more soil. And I do hope that she recover soon.
However, in 12/12 schedule, she may not drag on as much. And I don’t think over growing the environment will be a problem. Digressing a little bit, 12/12 is a poor way to grow auto.
Feeding – Thai sativa are generally not a heavy feeder. And at 1/3rd strength, the Muay Thai did not seemed to positively responded to it. Moreover, the new soil was also freshly loaded with new worm casting. So, she won’t need much for the next few weeks.
At the end of the week, I fed her some yogurt.
And I plan to give her some molasses in the middle of next week just to get the microbes going faster.
I don’t think I need to worry about three meter tall auto. Muay Thai is stable at 43 cm.
In the pictures, leave has white marks on them. This is from my Trichoderma. The spray bottle did not work. So I pour the content on the plant. And that leave powdery white stain. Should wash off during the next reain.
Feeding – No feeding.
Muay Thai just keep going with no special demand. Flowers continues to develop. The top is still slowly growing with new flower. The cola’s are wet and sticky. Seemed to be in mid flowing stage.
Muay Thai does not seemed to need feeding. However, since I am mixing fertilizer for my White Sirius grow, I am feeding her the same stuff.
Tuesday Evening – mixed 1 liter yoghurt to 5 liter of water. Fed ¾ of a liter to each plant.
Wednesday Evening – Molasses concentration of 2.5 ml/liter.
Thursday Evening – Potassium Chloride of 0.3 g/liter.
Friday Evening – Mold and bugs prevention spray. And since I just fed potassium the other night, I added a little cal mag . (Trichoderma harzianum, Beauvaria bassiana + Calcium/magnesium/boron)
In the middle of the week, the planter was knocked over by night creatures. My dogs looked guilty. Top soil came loose but root ball seemed to be intact. This Muay Thai fighter did not seemed to notice being knocked about.
She is showing trait of Thai ganja. The top continues to grow slowly. The leaves is dense. Smell like a classic ganja spicy and herbal. The column is already wet and sticky. Trichomes are clear as crystal.
She just keep going. The only thing that I need to do is to restrain myself from overfeed her.
Great way to get Thai taste without growing a 12 ft police beacon tree.
Feeding -
Tuesday Evening – mixed 1 liter yoghurt to 5 liter of water. Fed 2 liter to each plant.
Wednesday morning – Molasses concentration of 2.5 ml/liter.
Thursday Evening – Mold and bugs prevention spray. And I added a little cal mag . (Trichoderma harzianum, Beauvaria bassiana )
Muay Thai seemed to survive her spill okay.
Her top is still putting up new leaves. She can do what she wants. But when the bottom part of the plant is ready, I’ll harvest her and throw away this top.
For Thai auto, Flash Seeds Muay Thai already is my favorite. The smell is right. The flower is compact. The resistance is great. Speed is fast. For small space short plant, this is it for Thai flavor. The only thing I need to see is the effect of the smoke.
Feeding what I am feeding my other plants. This is milk, molasses, and fish bone tea. Not because they are needed but because I already have them for other late stage flowering plants.
Feeding -
Tuesday Evening – mixed 1 liter yoghurt to 5 liter of water. Fed 2 liter to each plant.
Wednesday morning – Molasses concentration of 2.5 ml/liter.
Thursday Evening – Mold and bugs prevention spray. And I added a little cal mag . (Trichoderma harzianum, Beauvaria bassiana )
Muay Thai is still slowly growing. She is 65 cm tall.
This week grow is slight and won’t turn her into a 3-meter sativa dominatrix. The key thing is that she won’t finish any time soon if she keeps growing.
My experience is that Thai sativa can go for nearly a year. I doubt it is the case for this auto. But Muay Thai sure takes her time. The good thing about longevity is that head high seem to increase with flowering time.
Muay Thai is in the sunniest spot. Bad part about this spot is that she is next to aphid and black mold nest. Neighboring plant is a hibiscus and magnolia. This is aphid season. With aphid sugar secretion, there are black mold everywhere. I think it is aspergilus niger and not that dangerous. Still, I went overboard with anti-pest microbe spray. The microbes comes in wheat flour format. And after frequent spray without the rain, white marks accumulate on leaves.
Growing environment, midst of tropical winter. By European standard, mild climate but with 11 hours day light.

Feeding what I am feeding my other plants. This is milk, molasses, and fish bone tea. Muay Thai would be fine without the feeding. But since I already made it for other plants and I don’t think it will overdose Muay Thai, I also fed here with these.
Re-vegged auto!
Muay Thai grew another 10 cm last week. She is 75 cm tall.
The lower branches are in late stage flower, by the top reverted back almost to vegetation stage. Could be because I moved her a brighter spot and she has stronger sun. There is only 11 light hour during this period in the December.
Although the top is growing, Muay Thai’s root isn’t going that great. I don’t see the need to put her into the ground until she is taller than a meter tall.
Temperature is back to normal with dry air. Humidity and VPD:
Hottest part of the day during the week T 35 degree C, Humidity 50% VPD 2.85
Coolest part of the night during the Week T 22 degree C, Humidity 43% VPD 1.45
Means that this is good for flowering plants, sativa drinks at night and conserve water during the day. This help fatten the buds. I am still puzzle why has Muay Thai super auto continues to vegged after put out flowers already.
Light compost tea feeding on one day.
Sprayed Trichoderma harzenum to reduce mold risk on lower branches.
Muay Thai has multiple personalities.
Plant developments stages are all over the map. From late stage flower in the main column to newly vegging top. Other places, there are flowers in various stages. These pics are from the same plant on taken a few seconds apart. LOL
On the late stage flowers, I don't think they can develop in a better quality. Muay Thai is spending energy in earnest growing. So, I am removing late flowers to reduce risk of rots and mold.
Checked out @Philindicus Lemon AK diary (week 10). I am following his method and take these trims to make super charged Everclear infusion.
Last week, I was feeding both the terpenes nutes and vegging grow nutes.
Temperature is back to normal hot with humid air.
Humidity and VPD:
Hottest part of the day during the week;

Coolest part of the night during the week; 24 degree C, Humidity 73%, VPD 0.8
Feeding strategy – I am supporting my girl mid-life crisis. I feed her both terpene raising yoghurt. Also add more grow nutes for her. This is pellets earth worm casting and sugar refinery sludge.
Feeding Summary
Monday evening – Compost tea ( 1.5 ml / liter compost tea + 1.5 ml/liter humic acid).
Tuesday evening – Yoghurt ratio ( 1 liter yoghurt to 5 liter of water)
Wednesday evening – Molasses ( 2.5 ml / liter).
Thursday – sprayed anti-insect microbe Beauvaria bassiana.
Friday evening. 1.5 ml/liter humic, 1.5 ml/liter compost tea.
Friday evening. Add 200 grams of Earth Worm Casting and another 200 grams of sugar refinery sludge as top soil dressing, to 25 liter basket.
Muay Thai fully reverted to vegging. Height is 90 cm tall. To mark this change, I am calling this week a vegetation week. Flowering week will count when pistils development direction is certain. Hopefully, there is more flower.
I have trimmed of older flowers. The harvest is of poor quality. So, I have used water curing and shall de-carb it and use this early small batch for infusing with alcohol. Canna mojito here I come!
Just today, the entire 25 liter basket with Muay Thai in the ground. This put her away from light leak. In the soil, I mixed in 6 kg of new earth worm casting. Also added 100 gram of pelletized sugar refinery sludge. Then I water with trichosan/earth worm casting microbe/ and compost solution.
The time that it is taking this grow, Muay Thai behaves like a quick flowering sativa than auto.
Environment is hot and balmy.
Humidity and VPD:

Coolest part of the night during the week; 24 degree C, Humidity 80%, VPD 0.6
Earlier in the week,
I fed Muay Thai with compost tea and molasses.

Muay Thai is still vegging. Height is 100 cm tall. Nice and bushy. I was overly aggressive on nute and this caused some overdosing of potassium a bit. Should out grow this if I don’t go crazy.
Salvaged flowers buds had seeds. I only found the seeds after de-carbonization process. The seeds is most likely be from male plant near her earlier. And could this be reason that Muay Thai reverted to vegging? In land race Thai, plant re-vegging is not uncommon.
After decarb, the brown stuff weight about 8 grams. I put this in 250 cc of 150 proof (75 degree) Everclear. No heating. Gonna let this sit for a couple of weeks.
Some seeds did drop on the pot. And I have picked up two seedlings. Let’s see if one of these would turn out to be auto Thai/White Sirius.
Environment is tropical hot. Home environment for garden variety Thai land race.
Humidity and VPD:

Muay Thai had clearly flowered. Height is 109 cm tall. Span is around 80 cm wide.
At least 10 more weeks of flowering I think.
Growth seemed to stabilized. I’ll be lightly feeding her more P and K as she is moving into bloom again.
Hope that the nutes get to her not to a thieving giant fig tree roots near the house.
Thrip, white fly, aphids are buzzing about as normal. Spraying anti-bugs microbes as usual.
Errant seeds is actually getting bigger. Bugs starting to feed on the seedling. True Thai heritage. Strong resistance against mold, good meal for bugs and dogs.

I tried alcohol infused with Muay Thai. It knocked me out like a boxing champ would.
The dose was 500 ml of grain alcohol and vodka. There was 8 grams of water cured and de-carboxylate Muay Thai. This was from “second grade” water cured buds. The buds was fluffy and small and there were some with seeds. I expected a weak effect. And was surprised how Muay Thai hit me so hard. Apt name really. 12 hours later I still have weed hang over.
Proper dose would be 10 ml of infused alcohol. The effect was potent. And it should not be mixed with consuming more alcohol.
Muay Thai height
settled in at around 110 cm. At least 8 more weeks of flowering I think.
Earlier the condition was dry and it is thrips and mites season. Some older leaves were damaged from insect attack. Spraying anti-bugs microbes to keep the population down.
I am starting to give more P and K with fish bone meal and light dose of potassium salt.

I got aggressive on feeding. And I fed Muay Thai with the same “weak” fertilizer as I gave my auto’s and Indica’s.
Leaves were burnt within a few hours. Leave tips became crispy brown.
After reverting to veg, Muay Thai had been flowering for four weeks. 19 weeks old auto and still in early bloom phase. Go figure. There is some faint smell. Pistil is generally white. I think there is a couple more months to go. And my main challenge is to keep her healthy by restraining myself from feeding Muay Thai.
As far as over fertilized Muay Thai go, I don’t think I need to do anything. She is in the ground. And there are roots from nearby bushes and trees that would readily suck up fertilizer.
I think that a better way to fertilize is to top dress with earth worm casting and pellet organic fertilizer.

Well into blooming phase, Muay Thai is temperamental inher flowering phase.
Top dress the soil with 1 kg of earth worm casting and sugar refinery pelletized sludge. And feeding her with various light compost teas.
Since I made yoghurt for my other flowering plants, I fed it to Muay Thai as well.
Overall, she does not like to be fed at all. During the next few weeks, I should not feed her any more.

Yellowing fan leaves on Muay Thai. Sugar leaves are still darker green. Fan leaves looks bad with yellowing, burnt tip, and mite spots. However, I get this with Thai auto and other Thai strains.
Since there is plenty of long green sugar leaves left. So, the technique from now on would be to “defoliate” fan leaves. Basically, every time I visit the patch, I would be pulling fan leaves off. I think if I leave it alone, the leaves would have fallen off on their own any way.
Also having an issue with saline tap water this week. This year we are having a bad drought. And water utility company uses raw water that was contaminated by tidal brackish water once a month. However, leaves on Muay Thai was turning yellow for some time. And salty water did not help.
Feeding strategy: Giving potassium humate to help ganja accommodate the brackish water. Spraying the entire patch with anti-insect fungus.

All of a sudden, Muay Thai just literally drop dead.
Earlier the leaves were just sickly looking but I still did not check the trichome. I thought the flowering time was for 12 weeks. Then on Friday night, I came come to see Muay Thai half fallen on the ground and uprooted.
I wasn’t exactly sad. It had been six months for the “auto” grow. And I am glad that it is finally over.
Checking on the trichome, color was great. There richness, on the otherhand, wasn’t great. To sum up, bag appeal will be terrible. This is brick weed material on appearance.
Smell was also faint. However, I have learned my lesson about Muay Thai potency. After the first small batch was dried, I made a vodka infusion. Short story, I got green out. Muay Thai is very potent regardless of the pitiful look.
Got 260 gram wet. Probably about an ounce dry. I am not going to make vodka infused out of Muay Thai again. This combination of alcohol and warping high is really too much.
Muay Thai hits hard and hits quick. This is the grass that Peter Lemon’s would find useful. For history buffs, Peter Charles Lemon fought off two waves of attack during Vietnam war. Toward the end of each waves, he fought bare handed
Muay Thai high is the best Thai high in the past few years. Most quick Thai have too strong of Indica influence. Muay Thai gifted consumer with energy and take away pain. This can translate to a few hours of berserker energy that end with solid recuperating rest. The let down part was certainly very nice.
I would rate the high as a 10. The high compensates for frustrating growth. The grow took too long for an auto and was not easily predictable.
The buds looks ugly and is fluffy. Long thin leaves look like brown grass when dried. Really is a classic Thai stick / Thai brick look.
Smell is not strong. It is lemony and Asian berry, incense sort of smell. Again, classic high quality Thai grass. Smoke is obviously much smoother than bag weed. This is generally true for home grown cannabis.
User beware, this is strong stuff.
Grow Muay Thai, on the other hand, was difficult. Muay Thai feed lightly. And I think she is picky with nutes.
I found Muay Thai does better with organic fertilizers. And there was perpetual issues with aphids. What was the weirdest was re-vegging of Muay Thai. Flowering period is not only long, and in the case of revegging, flowering perion was not really predictable.
True to Thai heritage, Muay Thai was highly resistance to mold but drew aphids and all kind of bugs.
