My First ever grow, my seed pack has 5 units but i decided to start with only two. Luckly the two seeds germinated well and i planted them on a small container with a 1/3 soil, 1/3 perlite and 1/3 coconut powder ratio.
Since this is my First grow i'm not investing that much money, so for now i'm using a simple 200w white led panel, with 8 hours of peek sunlight exposure
Early in week two i transplanted both to their final 30L containers with the same ratio of Soil, Perlite and Coco, but shortly after both plants got some rusted spots all over the lower leaves, and afterwards it even did some bending. I Figured this could be a Ca/Mg/Fe deficiency, due to me believing "nah, my tap water ph must be fine". After buying a soil and a water ph meter, i discovered soil ph was all the way down to 3.5, and my water was aroud 5.5, and after correcting the ph the plants got back to growing, yet, the damage to the early leaves is done and i trimmed a few of them.
In the beginning of the week I topped the plants above the 5th node, that slowed their growth for a couple days , but since that they're growing quite well.
None of the newer leaves show symptoms that the previous ones had cause the lack of pH control.
As the plants got bigger, i got afraid of letting them out in the open and took them inside the bathroom of the empty part of the house. Since i'm not able to count with the sunlight anymore i've got to spent some money on a 360w UFO light, that packed a real nice sprout into the plants, that were getting preeetty tall. There was a day that i swer they grow like15cm, hit the led and burned a couple leaves.
As the plants got bigger, i moved them from that bathroom to and empty room just next to it. Changed the light cycle to 12/12 and immediatly started giving it and the flowering nutrients wich i think it might been a mistake, since it took 3 weeks for buds to start developing and till them the plant showed some yellow leaves due to lack of nitrogen.
Plants are exploding in height, just fixed the lights to the ceiling and if they continue to grow on this rythm my room wont be able to handle it ^^ They are drinking a lot, and until time i figured how much water they needed the lower leaves fell off as a natural lack of care defoliation.
Trichomes are starting to develop all trough the plant and it has a minor, but very delicious, candy and lemon smell.
