So we're off to the races.
For a bit of a laugh and to push the limit of my abilities, I'm entering the @pot_doodle_420_ challenge
Strains in this diary
LSD-25 by Fastbuds
Summer Pavement by Glorious Genetics
Sensi Storm by Glorious Genetics
Method -
LSD-25 is gonna get mainlined, as the contest isn't just about yield I'm gonna go crazy on this girl @silky_smooth - Thank you for all your knowledge & advice 🙏
Summer Pave is my Kratky Noodle setup. 2 pots stacked on top each other with Croc clips giving additional elevation. The roots once developed will grow out of the first pot into the second containing water & nutes below. Some contestants have opted for full on DWC setups but it's cheating a little in my eyes! ;)
Organic as always -
Home compost super soil
Perlite
Vermiculite
Eggshell for calmag
Home made nute mixes (will update as I introduce them)
The lil babas are coming along nicely!
Having a few hiccups with keeping the living conditions optimum in the grow box but everything is a learning curve, I can see these ladies outgrowing the confines of the box in the next few weeks but hopefully I will have upgraded my arsenal by then!

At present they're being fed nothing but rainwater with a bit of aloe to get those roots nice and developed and they seem to be happy 😊
Added a new contender to the mix as I was accidentally blessed with 2 bagseeds which I'm told are amnesia haze so be interesting to see what comes of them!

Looking good so far! LSD25 still leading the way but with the explosive growth of the 2 amnesia seedlings they look set to take over soon! The kratky noodle setup is definitely helping growth speed due to the wicking effect of using soil instead of clay pebbles so I've opted to use this technique for all except LSD which is soil topped with perlite.
Added some diatomaceous earth to the soil this week to increase the silica and copped some CS for any I may have to reverse for seeding and breeding but hoping to get a couple males in there somewhere we shall see.
Thanks for stopping by
✊ 🌱
4/12 - chugging along nicely and roots are starting to show!
LSD25 was starting to exhibit some early signs of calmag deficiency so doused her with an Epsom salt foliar spray and did some general cleanup.
Everything else looking good so far, gave them their first food in the form of a homemade kelp fertiliser with banana peel for P
@LawAbidingCitizen420, interesting challenge. but if you don't change to a bigger pot it will grow really small 🙀 i've tried in a 0.4l pot and it grew 20 cm only and one small bud.
maybe it will grow more from your technique, depends still on how much space the roots have.
@ZeroPro, I hear you but that's kind of the idea, the challenge is to see who can grow the best plant in the confines of the pot, dealing with all the challenges and restrictions of what will definitely be a rootbound/stunted plant!
