This round I popped 9 beans. 6 Black DOG, 1 LSD, and 1 Mango Sapphire. I mixed up a good mix of soil for these girls too. I used in my mix: Coast of Maine Compost, bagged organic potting soil, coco coir, peat moss, vermaculture, and cut it with a whole lot of perlite. Applied plenty of mycochoritizea fungi to each babe. Water regiment was completely fresh at first then after week and half I added Ancient Amber and Trinity and alternated the feed. When I transplanted I added a nice bottom layer of soil amendment of blood meal, uprising grow and uprising foundation by Roots Organics, with a top layer of bat guano and worm casting
Growing growing good. Exploded with growth as soon as I transplanted, I kinda waited too long to transplant I think cuz this is one week behind by accident because I'm still getting used to this website interface. Anyway back to my garden. I added to the tea Buddah Grow, and bat guano along with Ancient Amber and Trinity
Looking nice and healthy, enjoying all the food I provided. I had to add a little more bat guano to the LSD because she was showing signs of nitrogen defitioncy. Besides that their coming along. I'm topping some Black DOGs more than others just to see the difference. They are bushing up nice and wide though and I like the look of that. Alternating bewtween tea and fresh water. Added Extreme Serene to the tea and started using foliar spray of that plus Ancient Amber; Alternating between the both.
Blowing up with growth!!! I finally got a new tent more to size for my needs and the gals are definitely benefiting from it. Continuing the same tea and fresh water regiment. The Black DOGs are bushing up wonderfully on their own, the structure on them is perfect. The LSD is taking to the topping well though so I have been multi topping her and she just springs back
Here in my garden, giving every gal plenty of love. They are responding well. Taking well to bending and pinching, as well as multi topping the LSD. Going to make this the last week of veg so I lollipoped the bottom branches. Enjoying to see the bloom
Took to bloom very quick, and beautifully. The LSD stretched crazy tall, measuring 2-3 inches a day!!!!!! If I let her get any bigger she'd be touching the light. To the tea regiment I added Buddah Bloom, HPK, HP2, a liquid squid fertilizer by Coast of Main and Elemental by Roots Organics. Also a nice top soil amendment of Buddah Bloom, and Elemental. Eating well and I'm satisfied with results so far
Blooming well and pretty. Seeing some bud sites at the nodes and the leaves are stacking. Rotating the arrangement of pots every week so they each get a nice distribution of light. Same tea and fresh water regiment and Extreme Serene spray
Looking absolutely amazing. I missed a week of pictures because I was seriously ill so I couldn't manage to spend as much time taking pictures as usual. They are starting to swell up and stack on the bud sites. Also getting very frosty, covered in tons of sticky trichomes. Starting to smell a little aroma as well can't quite put my finger on it yet
Now it's looking so amazing in my tent. The colors are coming, a nice purple fade on most of the Black DOGs, some more than others. The aromas are now so potent!! Black DOGs are smelling like grape funk and the LSD and Mango Sapphire are getting wicked fruity. The buds are swelling up nice and dense too, especially the Black DOGs
I think I found a new love! This strain is tasty as fuck, with a fruity flavor but a spicy haze funk smell to it that punches you right in the snozz! It's been helping with my chronic pain very well though, got me dancing around like a silly mother fucker and then sleeping about 30 min later lol
This strain was a pleasure to grow! She doesn't need any special attention but if you give it to her she'll give it back to you for sure! The nodes all the way down to the soil swelled up to be good nugs. The main colas were stacked and heavy dense nuggets. She grows so vigorously too its a sight to see for sure. The one thing I love the most though is the fade on the fan leave in flowering, she's a true Black Rose
This is some quality medicine!! Tastes absolutely amazing too! It's a great working weed that doesn't get you sleepy at all but has a very high euphoria that makes you forget you were in pain. One of those buds that leaves you wondering if you actually just smoked that bowl or never even packed it
She was a good teacher plant for me I think. Not the easiest one I've grown cuz she's picky with her feed but she'll show you the signs really quick. When you get the feed right she takes off vigorously and takes very well to topping. At one point I tipped two days in a row because the next set of nodes were there to greet me the next morning. During flowering she swelled up into really heavy colas that ended up being wonderfully dense buds. She was an excellent grow and worth all the little extra care I had to give her
@beanbean, and sorry I didn't even answer one of questions. It was interesting to grow I'll say that. She's easy but if you stress her she can become a dwarf that's the only frustration I had. What I did is I only topped once and then simply pinched nodes instead after and the strain seems to like that method more from what I've seen. The ones I have now are much bigger with much better structured
@beanbean, hey sorry for the late reply, the cure has been awesome though! The smell gets stronger and it's that real pungent smell that fills the room you walk into lmao. The flavor has this interesting spice to it that I actually enjoy for the most part it's almost like pepper I want to say but not really because it's still very fruity. I also made some hash with it and it is extract quality for sure, I got a half oz of hash just off the trim of only the Black DOG. As far as medicine goes too it's very helpful. I have severe Crohn's disease and for my whole life I've battled with my weight as well as other symptoms of the disease, but since I've had the Black DOG on deck I gained 9.2 lbs! And I'm actually for the first time in 3 years over 100 lbs!!!!
Hey @HighrishHash, been a few weeks...any improvement after a longer cure? What's the flavor like? Easy to grow, sensitive to nutes, any feedback?
As you may have seen I'm running a bunch of HSO right now, this Black D.O.G. I decided not to get last minute, after seeing your grow I'm kicking myself for doing so! So interested to see what you think now that it's had time to cure and hopefully you've smoked enough to see what the tolerance build is like, etc. Let me know, thanks!

Hey bro, currently growing LSD myself, did you do anything in particular to get the buds to grow purple? If you have any tips for this particular strain I'd appreciate it. Amazing grow, looks beautiful.
